Sunday Morning Shuffle
Took a couple of weeks off to get my music in order, so here's stuff for you!
TITLE: The Fate ARTIST: Yoshitaka Hirota NOTES:Shadow Hearts II is probably my absolute favorite non-Square Enix game ever. How could you not love Yuri? This is a sad piece with a rough edge, much like Yuri himself. LINK:http://rapidshare.com/files/83452688/24-Yoshitaka_Hirota-The_Fate.mp3
TITLE: The Dark ARTIST: Trans-Siberian Orchestra NOTES: From their Beethoven's Last Night CD, something I borrowed from my sister and ripped a couple of years ago but never really listened to. It's not too bad, the singer here tries a little too hard, I think. LINK:http://rapidshare.com/files/83453929/13-The_Dark.mp3
TITLE: The World of the Dead ARTIST: Joe Hisaishi NOTES: From the Princess Mononoke soundtrack. Both soundtrack and movie are masterpieces, I highly recommend that you get yourself a copy of both. LINK:http://rapidshare.com/files/83454410/27-The_World_of_the_Dead.mp3
TITLE: Decepticons ARTIST: Steve Jablonski NOTES: From the recent Transformers movie. Sinister and low-pitched, with a chorus chanting ominously in the background. LINK:http://rapidshare.com/files/83455401/02-Decepticons.mp3
TITLE: Until It Sleeps ARTIST: Metallica NOTES: A lot of people don't like Load... I remember the horror most had because everyone in the band cut their hair, to the point where lots of people I knew weren't going to buy it just because of that. I happen to think it's one of their stronger albums, with a lot of excellent song-writing. LINK:http://rapidshare.com/files/83457036/04-Until_It_Sleeps.mp3
TITLE: Staff Credit ARTIST: Hitoshi Sakimoto NOTES: This is from Final Fantasy Tactics, one of two FF games I own but have never beaten (the other being the PS1 version of FF IV). Someday I will, I'm sure, if only to hear all of the incredibly music from this soundtrack in context with the scenes they were written for. TITLE: Strung Out ARTIST: Van Halen NOTES: The first time my sister and I heard this, we cringed. Our Dad was a piano tuner for many years, and we could just imagine the torture being done to the poor strings... LINK:http://rapidshare.com/files/83459665/06-Strung_Out.mp3
