Sunday morning shuffle
hehehehehe... sorry about that, forgot to post this yesterday morning. :-p
TITLE: The Burning Heart
ARTIST: Hans Zimmer
NOTES: From the Hannibal soundtrack. Contains Sir Anthony Hopkins speaking over a string quartet.

TITLE: Stop the Rock
ARTIST: Apollo 440
NOTES: Hee! A fun loud song that came out right about the time of the height of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's wrestling career, back when I was a fan. It always makes me think of his grin.

TITLE: Serious Mood
ARTIST: Tomoko Kobayashi
NOTES: From the Shadow Hearts: Covenant soundtrack. Which is one of the most irreverant and outright violent RPG series you'll find. Yuri is a total dog, but you can't help loving him, considering all the crap he goes through.

TITLE: A Dark Omen
ARTIST: Yuki Kajiura
NOTES: From the Xenosaga III soundtrack. This is music I picked up because I love the composer, not because I have any intention of ever playing the game. I tried to play the first one and gave up in utter frustration about 2/3rds of the way through.

TITLE: Leaving Las Vegas
ARTIST: Sheryl Crow
NOTES: It's funny, but the stuff they released as singles from her albums are my least favorite songs, and the ones they don't are much, much better. This one doesn't do much for me, but it was fairly popular.

TITLE: Baba O'Riley
ARTIST: The Who
NOTES: I've always loved this song, back from when I was a kid listening to rock stations with my Dad. I think the electric mandolin is so different that it just always captures my imagination.

TITLE: Can't Cry Anymore
ARTIST: Sheryl Crow
NOTES: It's like my WMP randomizer bunny listens to me! ;-) This is one of the ones that didn't get released from Tuesday Night Music Club that I really like.

TITLE: Frosted Snowflakes
ARTIST: Atrium Carceri
NOTES: This track contains Japanese dialog from some anime, I'm guessing. I have no idea what series, but I watch enough to recognize at least one of the male voice actors as someone who's done a ton of work.

TITLE: The Breaking of the Fellowship
ARTIST: Howard Shore
NOTES: From The Fellowship of the Ring soundtrack. A very lovely song, with a boy singing sad but hopeful lyrics in the middle.

TITLE: The Ride of the Rohirrim
ARTIST: Howard Shore
NOTES: *chuckles* Ya know, my random bunny needs some work some days. ;-) From The Return of the King. As good as the music is, the movies just end up frustrating me with all of the changes made to the story. It's disappointing, because it shows that the writers and directors didn't bother to really read the books and understand all the themes involved.
