Sunday Morning Shuffle
TITLE: Lightning Is My Girl
ARTIST: Auf der Maur
NOTES: This is the bassist for Hole, if I'm remembering what my sister told me right. It's OK, nothing amazing or mind-blowing.

TITLE: Jeremy Soule
ARTIST: Peace at Last
NOTES: From the third Elder Scrolls game, Morrowind. I believe this is what plays when you go walking at night. I really, really, really wanted to be able to play and beat this game, but it was so buggy, with memory leaks and just general "Sorry, I'm tired of running, going to crash now" things that I just gave up.

TITLE: ~ICARO AGAIN
ARTIST: Yoshitaka Hirota
NOTES: Shadow Hearts: Covenant continues the adventures of Yuri, one of the most awesome anti-heroes you'll ever play. While the soundtrack to the first game wasn't much special except for the final song, this one is a hit all the way through.

TITLE: No Regrets
ARTIST: Aesop Rock
NOTES: I discovered Aesop Rock when a message board I post on put up a bunch of indy rappers, and he is amazingly deep. This is a story about a woman who dares to be different her whole life. And guess what: no cussing!

TITLE: The Pig Chase
ARTIST: Nick Glennie-Smith
NOTES: From The Man In the Iron Mask soundtrack. It starts light-hearted then turns sinister as we meet the king.

TITLE: Numb
ARTIST: CCB (Critical Condition Band)
NOTES: A really neat remake of the Linkin Park song. The band is based in the DC area, and is kinda reggae, kinda hip-hop, and generally cool.

TITLE: Shake the Heavens
ARTIST: Mark Porter
NOTES: Yasunori Mitsuda's soundtracks to Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, and Xenogears have inspired many, many remake/cover and tribute albums. This is from one of those I've found online at the Galbadia Hotel. This one is covers three Xenogears themes.

TITLE: Seikaze
ARTIST: Yuki Kajiura
NOTES: Short, ethereal bit from one of the Erementar Gerad (which I think turned into Elemental Gerald when it got translated) soundtracks.

TITLE: A Propsal
ARTIST: Masashi Hamauzu
NOTES: From the Dirge of Cerberus soundtrack. The game was quite disappointing for something made by SquareEnix, unfortunately. It wasn't a good shooter, it wasn't a good RPG, and the story took a serious dive into WTF-ville towards the end. But the soundtrack is incredible, and well worth listening to.

TITLE: Twisted Foetus
ARTIST: Atrium Carceri
NOTES: I have just recently discovered this act from Sweden, and find it to be quite chilling but incredibly good. Most people would probably call this "dark ambient", and that's quite fitting. Instrumental, spooky as all hell, and would fit in well with any horror film or game.
