Daphene raised an eyebrow at her former friend, lips pursed in annoyance. Her day had been going fine before Tracey came but she wasn't going to let the woman ruin it. So Daphene straightened her back, narrowed her eyes and frowned at the girl in front of her. "I might be," she told Tracey, "Though if I am its certainly none of your business."
Tracey had caused her to be paranoid at the party. Yes she wasn't entirely wanted but Ginny had proved that at least one person had wanted her around. Even if the girl had ignored her the rest of the night beforehand. That wasn't entirely true. It wasn't Ginny's fault she'd been more focused on her glass of champagne than her lovergirlfriend - whatever it was they were to call each other. Ginny had corrected her thoughts and it'd been a welcome change to the rest of the night. As far as she was concerned, Tracey was just a jealous bint who didn't understand what the word loyalty stood for.
"But lets get straight down to the point, Davis. What exactly is it you want?" Daphene was not keen on having her former friend around for longer than necessary. She thought that she and the girl had mutual feelings but apparently that was not the case.
