After being with Osamu, the teen was already feeling much more relaxed than any bath in the hot springs could provide. His mood had made vast improvements, and despite not being around anyone on his way back downstairs from Osamu's room, he didn't think he would be ready to snap now. Not only that, Zaizen's body felt much more... refreshed.
If only he had his iPod on him, he might even smile. Aww. Alas, he didn't.
However, he did slide the door open to the room he was meant to be in, only to find most of the team (except Yuuji and Koharu) sacked out. Frowning, he could only guess why there were there as he closed the door and tiptoed into the room.
Kenya hadn't managed to sleep much the previous night until he'd slipped into the other room, so he had hoped that by being curled up against Shiraishi it would happen at some point. Alas, however, he was still wide awake when the small stream of light filtered into the room. No one else seemed to notice though, considering Kin-chan was sound asleep on the far side, Chitose and Koishikawa close to him and so on...
But then again, not everyone had heard what was going on upstairs, had they?
Slowly so he didn't wake up Shiraishi, Kenya adjusted his pillow to take his place and hopped over his team mates to get to the door, teeth digging into his lip in worry because... well. Zaizen would soon find out, wouldn't he? "One sec," he nodded his head towards the hallway, sparing a quick glance to make sure no one else had woken up. At least Zaizen would be able to see he was worried though, if the look on his face was anything to go by.
Well, it seemed only one person was actually awake. It made him wonder exactly what was keeping his idiot senpai from his dreams. In the dim room, he couldn't quite make out the other teen's features, but he had noted a sound to his voice that made him curious. With a small sound of annoyance, he turned and went into the hallway again.
"Senpai?" The teen questioned, shoving his hands into his pockets as he waited semi-impatiently.
A hand moved to rub his eye as the bright light hurt for a moment, but Kenya didn't mention it in favour of frowning softly at Zaizen, teeth digging into his lip again as he thought of how to word this. He'd spent all night trying to come up with something, and now he had the chance... well. He couldn't think of the right words so...
"H-he didn't hurt you or anything, did he?" Zaizen was probably going to have to strain his hearing to hear that, but something caught in Kenya's throat and he was worried, okay? "I mean... it's it's okay to say if he did or not but just-" Well, so much for trying to keep calm about it. That and Kenya actually looked a tad upset by this point, because he'd actually missed most of the things Zaizen had said past the bed creaking noises and the first couple of moans - he'd dashed right into the other room.
Still...
For a moment, all Zaizen could see was the worry on Kenya's face now that there was more light. He thought his senpai was going nuts finally. He was always a bit high strung, maybe he was just being delusional now? Well, until he caught the tail end of what he was saying. His own features twisted into confusion, then.
"He?" The younger teen asked, frowning. "Senpai, did you hit your head?"
Honestly, he had more brains than that, but he... hadn't actually been able to make out the first line, it was so lowly said.
Kenya would protest to that if he knew what Zaizen was thinking and wasn't worrying about other things. Instead he took a breath and shut his eyes, wanting to shake his kouhai in the hope it would get him some answers. He didn't though, just glanced away and looked at him out of the corner of his eyes, pretending to be more interested in the wall. Zaizen would see through that anyway. "I-... we heard uh upstairs. I... He didn't hurt you at all, did he?" His voice was louder this time, but it cracked in the middle.
"I mean... you'd tell me if he did, right?" It probably didn't make any sense even then though - why Kenya was over reacting over it all. He couldn't help it though. He just hoped Zaizen's brain would put two and two together though.
"Shit." Slipped out very quietly and quickly. Until he realized he'd been dirty ta- oh god. Zaizen blushed and looked away from Kenya entirely, not really wanting to see his senpai's reaction to his blush. Embarrassment was not something he did well. At least he wasn't embarrassed to be caught having screwed (or rather, been screwed) by Osamu. No, he was still proud of that, for probably the same reason younger men slept with older women. That, and he liked Osamu.
Well, now he knew why the worry was there. Two and two did match up, and he'd remembered just how distraught his senpai was. He let out a quiet, annoyed sound of resignation. Guess he should put the idiot's worries aside, huh?
"...No," Zaizen answered finally. "He didn't."
Kenya was too worried to be embarrased for once, so he didn't even comment on the fact he was blushing anyway. See, this is the problem with having such a compassionate and emotional senpai, Zaizen, they worry too much when they don't need to. Kenya sighed out at his answer though, and the annoyed sound only seemed to make him convinced that Zaizen wouldn't tell him. Especially when he was barely saying anything.
The next thing that came out of his mouth though, probably made no sense whatsoever to the boy though - especially as it seemed so random. "Pass me your arm." He didn't say anything else though, just held out his hand, pretty much prepared to just grab it if Zaizen ended up weirded out and said no. It was quite possible that would happen after all.
For the second time in the night, Zaizen Hikaru was convinced his senpai was losing what little sensibility he seemed to have. What did his arm have anything to do with anything? His after sex buzz was, at least, keeping him from being incredibly annoyed with with the older teen.
"Are you sure you didn't hit your head?" He asked, his expression twisting as he finally laid eyes on Kenya again. Oddly enough, his blush was still sort of there, though he was positively glad it hadn't been commented on.
Well, it probably didn't make sense to anyone that wasn't Kenya, but to be fully reassured he needed to make sure... "No, I didn't." Kenya almost pouted at that, considering he'd hardly slept and Zaizen wasn't taking him seriously. Here he was worrying about him, and there Zaizen was, mostly brushing him off. So instead of asking again, he gripped his arm and pulled it up, double checking there wasn't any marks on his wrist.
He deflated when it was all plain, unbruised/marked skin, and let out a soft smile. "Thanks." That was all he needed to know, see? Not too difficult was it Zaizen?
He let his arm go and took a step back. "Sorry." He shrugged to say that Zaizen could go inside now though, even if he was pretty hurt that he'd been fucked over, apparently. Sure, it was more likely he would try and bolt, but... Well.
He leaned against the wall then, giving Zaizen plenty of room to go back into the room if he wanted, subconsciously rubbing his own wrist. He figured Zaizen would just shrug it off anyway, so that only gave him more reason to just stay outside a little longer.
"hey!" Zaizen grumbled when his arm was grabbed and checked. What the hell? Okay, Kenya was acting even more strange than just his normal idiotic self, and the worry was misplaced completely. Which actually... kind of worked on Zaizen to make him worry about his senpai. Especially when he saw the rubbing of his wrist. Being the incredibly astute kid he was, and all.
Instead of going back into the room, he turned himself and rested against the wall beside Kenya. "What was that about, Kenya?"
And then the pout finally came. Kenya pressed his chin onto his hand and shifted to sit in front on the wall instead. "I'm probably just delirious from lack of sleep." Kenya was never very good at lying though, especially when he laughed quietly after it and tried to keep Zaizen un-worried by giving him a smile. "Or hit my head, you never know." He patted Zaizen on the calf gently.
"Shouldn't you go to sleep though?" He shifted to stretch his legs out and tried to get comfortable. It was quite possible he'd be making a late night trip to the bath at this rate, if only to use it as a pick-me-up until he got back to his self again. He didn't like being upset, after all. It didn't even fit too well with his personality. At least he knew that Zaizen was alright though, which at this stage, was more than enough for the teen.
"It's too crowded in there." Zaizen half lied. It really was too crowded, but he didn't care so much if there was a patch of floor for him to sleep on. "And you need a swift kick in the pants."
Sliding down, he too sat on the floor to get comfortable. Something told the younger teen that they'd be there a while just talking. Heaven help his teammates, because Zaizen would more than likely either fall asleep in the mini bus on the way home or would be very grumpy to everyone. But at the moment, he didn't like worrying about Kenya.
"So out with it. Why did you freak out?" Genius boy was about to show how astute he was, as he pointed to Kenya's wrist. "You rubbed."
Kenya snorted at that. "I'll make room for you when we go back in." He elbowed Zaizen lightly for that comment though, inwardly wincing at what that sounded like. Plus, he wasn't really taking up any bedspace anyway, considering he'd been snuggling up instead of just sleeping on his own bed/duvet.
He pulled his legs up then, letting his arms rest over his knees as he contemplated what to do about this situation. He wasn't a smart or quick thinker though - so most of his response was him opening and shutting his mouth like a strangled fish. He huffed and leaned back, letting his head tip back as he played with the edge of his wristband for a moment, but because Zaizen was smart, it wasn't like he was going to get away with laughing it off either.
The easiest option was just to show him, right?
He gave the wristband a sharp tug and clenched his fist, only to hold his arm out in front of Zaizen for him to look for himself - right at the slightly scarred skin there from all the friction burn he'd kind of put himself through.
Zaizen actually didn't say anything as he observed the scars, but that probably wouldn't be surprising. It did explain why Kenya freaked out on him, though. Tremendously. Though he actually... kind of felt bad for the other teen. Zaizen asked for it, where it was clear that Kenya had been tied down. Which kind of made him wonder about Osamu, but it wasn't like he was going to ask. It wasn't his business, even if he was curious.
"That explains a lot." He finally said, voice serious but holding a note of normalcy. Reaching out, he pulled the wrist band back down for Kenya and stretched his legs out. "If it makes you feel any better, I went to him." He should be hiding the wicked smirk that crossed his lips, but frankly he couldn't. Shanai wa. "But does Shiraishi know about that?"
It probably would be better to not ask, after all, Zaizen was the cause of all the frustration the older man had gone through. Even if neither Kenya nor Zaizen knew that. It did make Kenya wonder too though, because he just didn't get why ...well actually, no, he understood why he'd been tied down but... He didn't get why Osamu had been pretty aggressive about it, in a sense. Making him want it before he even knew what was going on, it was pretty sneaky of the man.
Kenya rubbed the material back down when he got his arm back and let his arms drop to the floor, head tilting to watch as he flattened his palms and unflattened them. It also meant that he caught that smirk though, and finally a tiny blush came out of that, even when he moved to nudge Zaizen with his elbow. "And to think I thought better of you than that," he sniffed, though it was obviously a joke with his tone of voice. If Zaizen was happy, he was happy. Kenya wouldn't protest to that.
The question was another thing entirely though, as Kenya openly winced. "...No. It was bad enough already so..."
"Your opinion doesn't matter to me." He actually gave a super small laugh. However the words were mostly truthful. Zaizen didn't actually give a damn what people thought, so long as it wasn't detrimental to something important to him. Then he would actually fight it.
But at least the idiot seemed like he was starting to feel better. That was a definite plus. Or, at least until it came time to answer his question. In which the younger teen actually frowned a little. "Bad enough? Buchou doesn't seem like the angry jealous type." Nope. That was all Zaizen, apparently.
"Sure it doesn't," Kenya actually smiled at that and stretched out again, yawning into his hand for a moment. His own energy was sort of being sapped, even if he didn't want it to be. He knew that Zaizen didn't really care what people thought of him though, but he also knew that the brat cared, otherwise he wouldn't have sat down and made him talk, now would he?
Kenya knew there was a reason they were close friends.
"...I don't mean like that." Kenya flushed just a little and scratched his hair for a moment, messing it up. "I... over reacted in the post and when I talked to him, so he thought I was..." he trailed off. "Not given a choice at all." That was the nicest way of putting it really... though you could consider it like he wasn't, if you took his inability to think quickly into consideration. Kenya did kind of fail on that aspect after all...
Honestly? That would have been Zaizen's assumption too. What, with the way Kenya freaked out about it, and if he'd seen the rope burns... well. Definitely would have thought it was rape. The idiot. But the younger teen wasn't about to reach up and cuff him over the back of the head - he thought that might kill brain cells Kenya needed.
"You won't be able to hide them forever, senpai." The teen brought his knees up and rested his forearms atop them, completely ignoring the general discomfort he felt in his ass and back as he did so. "One of these days he's going to do something romance-y and gross, and he's gonna find out."
"Find out what?" Came a very sleepy response from a groggy Shiraishi. He reached up to rub his eye, getting some of the sleep out of it and he looked on the two younger boys chatting in the hallway when they were supposed to be sleeping. Whatever possessed them to do that, he was too tired to think.
Well, it was kind of confusing what it was. Mentally and emotionally? It kind of was. Physically, however? His body had pretty much wanted it. It depended on how you wanted to look at it. Kenya let his head fall back and thunk against the wall, pretty much doing Zaizen's job for him, especially as he winced afterwards and moved a hand to rub it better. "I know that," he half snapped back at him.
Really though, the 'romance-y and gross' part was something that was both weird and kind of made him curious. Did Zaizen mean kissing his wrist or something? It did answer the question as to why Zaizen found fucking the coach a lot more interesting than finding someone his own age though, the kid just didn't get it or didn't like it. Possibly a mix of both.
Only when Shiraishi actually stepped out of the room he froze, wide eyes instantly going to Zaizen for help. He could never think quickly enough to come up with an excuse, and he couldn't lie to save his life... As terrifying as it was, Zaizen was his last hope.
Unfortunately for Kenya, his last hope was going to tell Shiraishi-buchou the truth. "I'm going to bed."
Shifting to stand, the teen started for the other room, intending to not only give space but get some in return. He didn't give a damn if he found Koharu and Yuuji stark naked and covered in nothing but each other, so long as they didn't make him join in.
"Zaizen," Shiraishi tried to pull him back anyway. "I wouldn't go in there - someone left Koharu and Yuuji to their own."
The younger teen merely shrugged and tugged the door open, only to disappear leaving: "Don't care. It's not like I haven't seen cock before."
Shiraishi frowned at the answer, but left Zaizen to himself. The boy was frighteningly level headed and passive. Nothing would be able to stop him once he'd made up his mind to do it. So, he sighed and turned his sleepy attention to Kenya, blinking at him. His best friend looked panicked, and that didn't sit well with him. "What's wrong?"
Damn it, Kenya should have known better than to trust Zaizen in helping him out. "Hikar-" he cut off when Zaizen spoke and ignored Shiraishi as well, heading into the other room. He'd even tried to stumble up as well, but that didn't go well as he tripped up on the way up. Oops.
Which only left one option, really. Clamping his teeth down on his lip, and look like a deer caught in the car's headlights - something of which he did and probably was only going to make Shiraishi worry more. Stupid Zaizen and his stupid walking off. Even more for his stupid being right. He should tell Shiraishi about it but...
He swallowed and just shook his head. If he was lucky, Shiraishi will have forgotten the whole 'find out what?' question he'd asked when first stepping outside.
It wasn't Kenya's night. Shiraishi stepped out of the room and closed the door so their talking wouldn't wake anyone else up. Though as he did, it revealed that he was wearing pajama pants and a tank top that haphazardly left a bit of his stomach show, though he didn't realize it. He yawned and scratched the back of his head, ruffing his own hair a bit as he sat down. Seeing his best friend trip up wasn't something he was unfamiliar with. So, it was no cause for real worry.
What worried him was how he seemed to hope Zaizen would save him. Which... made him curious.
"Whatever it is, you know you can tell me." Shiraishi reassured him as he rested his hand on the other teen's leg.
Well, considering Kenya had landed smack back down on his backside, it probably made more sense for him to sit down as well. His appearance may have had quite a bit to do with Kenya's failure to balance well enough to stand up. His eyes dropped, only to avert away from his best friend completely. Damndamndamndamn-
"Kura..." he trailed off and pouted, mainly because he was being nice about it, even though it was something he'd obviously not told him... which kind of made him feel guilty even if it probably shouldn't about something as serious as this. Because it hinted... Kenya's lack of control of the situation before. He didn't shove Shiraishi's hand off, though he did bend his knees a little to press his elbows against them, leaning his chin on his arm so he could keep looking away. "S'not that simple."
Gently, Shiraishi squeezed Kenya's thigh. It was more to silently say he was there, no matter what it was. They'd gone through enough in their short lives, that he didn't think anything Kenya had to say would make him turn tail. His best friend was a bit of a spaz, after all.
"Kenya," Shiraishi wrapped his arm around Kenya's shoulders and pulled the younger teen toward himself. "saying that isn't going to make me take it back." He laughed softly, kissing his temple. "You should know by now I'm not going to judge you for whatever it is."
That's what made it harder though, Kenya easily fell into that hold. It was mostly because he wasn't fighting it at all really, because he wanted it... he just felt bad at it right then. He pressed his cheek against Shiraishi's shoulder and angled himself better, burying into his side. He kept his hands on his lap though, just in case he really had to show him. He didn't think he could say it.
"I-it's not that," Kenya protested weakly and sighed out. Things were probably about to turn sour, but it wasn't as if he could hide it now, was it? "It's just..." He made a noise in the back of his throat, followed by a noise of frustration when he couldn't get the words out. "It's..." he stopped there, lowering his eyes to his hands, fingers already playing with the wristband again. "Not as bad as it looks, okay?" It was the only way he could think of saying it before he slowly and cautiously peeled the same wristband off that he'd taken off to show Zaizen only five minutes before.
Kenya was making it hard for Shiraishi's groggy mind to fathom what all the fuss was about. The teen blew things out of proportion all the time, but he was acting like it was a very, very serious matter. Which, in turn, made him worry something fierce. In fact, he might have been much more worried if he'd seen or heard the display with Zaizen. But this... this was bad enough as it was.
His eyes diverted to what Kenya was doing, though. Shiraishi chalked it up to it being because he was nervous, until he saw the faint marks hidden by the wrist band. Unfortunately, the only thing that the semi-serious buchou could seem to think they might have been were not something he'd expect from someone as generally happy as Kenya.
He swallowed.
"K-Kenya... what happened?" Always jumping to the wrong conclusions. Shiraishi should be smarter than that, really.
Kenya's heart kind of got stuck in his throat at that, because he'd told him it wasn't as bad as it looked but... His fingers fumbled with the other wristband before he let that fall to the floor too, if only to show he hadn't done it to himself... well, not quite anyway. "Kura." He wiggled a little, if only so he could nuzzle at his neck and give him a smile to say it was alright. "There... was something I didn't tell you about what happened before."
He took a deep breath and slowly exhaled. "When..." Damn. The words still weren't coming out, and he didn't want to let Zaizen down either by using him in his explanation. The poor kid was probably embarassed enough already that at least one of his senpai knew where he'd been. Maybe, anyway.
So he just said the other name and had to hope Shiraishi would get it. "Osamu."
Oh, he got it. Kind of. He didn't see how the marks were made, but if they connected to Osamu and that encounter he had with Kenya, well. Shiraishi was about to get pissed off. Osamu left marks like that? Maybe he should have done something before, instead of feel like a guilty s.o.b.
Tipping his head, he buried his face in Kenya's hair and wrapped his arms around his boyfriend even more tightly. Almost as if he were trying to keep Kenya shielded and safe somehow. "How did it happen?"
Kenya made a soft noise at that, letting Shiraishi do as he pleased. In fact, he wiggled over until he was comfortably on his lap instead, if only because it was easier for him to snuggle into him that way. His slid his arms up, letting his fingers curl into Shiraishi's hair with one hand, the other rubbing at the back of his neck so he wouldn't get too mad.
While he wasn't look at him though, it was much easier to say now. Of course, he kept it quiet and soft, a little worried about what his best friend and boyfriend's reaction would be. "He tied me down..." he trailed off and tried to peek up at him.
Wrapping his arms around Kenya's waist, he allowed the boy to climb onto his lap and even welcomed him there. But it was a very nice move, on Kenya's part, to have done it. With him saying that he was tied down, Shiraishi wanted nothing more than to jump up and bang Osamu's door down so he could smack the older man around. What the hell had Osamu even been thinking, tying Kenya down?!
Shiraishi growled softly and tightened his hold on Kenya. "Are you sure it wasn't rape?"
A soft "mmph" like noise slipped out when Shiraishi's hold on him tightened and instead of letting the other bury his face in his hair, he leaned up to give him a hug. He wasn't sure what to say really, because he still didn't get it himself. He hadn't been ready for it to begin with, nevermind understanding if he'd wanted it at all.
"...I don't know," was the soft, small reply Kenya gave him. He moved to press their foreheads together, keeping his eyes open. "S-sorry for not saying before but..." But he didn't want Shiraishi to go storming after him either, basically.
Brown eyes looked into brown eyes, and Shiraishi could see the worry and softness in Kenya's. So, he tried to reign in his anger. He had, had a talk with Osamu about him staying away from Kenya, but it had been more... friendly, than angry. Everything it probably shouldn't have been, honestly. But as he remembered the chat, he remembered Osamu telling him something he probably should have remembered now, actually.
Sighing in a very yoga and zen-like move, he let out all the negativity so he could keep being positive. Then, he tipped his head so he could take Kenya's lips into a soft, quick, but lingering kiss. "It's okay, Kenya. You shouldn't be afraid to tell me anything, especially stuff like this."
Kenya let his hands slide to Shiraishi's shoulders as the other boy worked on calming himself down. He smiled softly at that though, glad that Shiraishi was at least trying to not be too mad about it. He'd kind of hit the older man around the head after it had finished anyway, so he'd managed to get some form of revenge for being put through it.
He did make a soft-happy-little-noise at the kiss though and let his eyes flutter. There, that made things much better, didn't it?
"I didn't want you to get all mad like you had..." he looked at him worriedly. "You're not mad I didn't tell you before, are you?" Kenya chewed on his lip. "He... I mean he sort of apologised after, though I don't get why." He frowned slightly.
Ah, Shiraishi knew though he didn't want to embarrass Kenya by letting his boyfriend know that he knew. So, he stayed secretive on it. More than likely, it was for the best anyway. He didn't want any awkwardness between them.
"No, I'm not mad you kept it from me." He answered honestly. "I don't like that he tied you down, though." Who would? At least Kenya would never have to go through being tied down ever again? Shiraishi wasn't likely to do anything of the sort. Actually, he... couldn't really fathom sex passed his own encounter with Osamu at the moment. Kenya was so innocent, Shiraishi knew it would take a while before he would warm up to anything more than making out or groping each other.
"Maybe... because Osamu's an okay guy, when he's not thinking with his hard-on?"
Kenya smiled kind of wryly at that. "I didn't either, why do you think it ended up scarring?" He bit his lip, as that was probably a bad thing to say. It was the truth though... really so... He sighed and snuggled closer, pressing his face into Shiraishi's shoulder. He had to suppress a laugh at that end comment though, letting his shoulders shake slightly as he couldn't quite hold it back. "Maybe." He couldn't not agree to that, Osamu had done a lot for the team, and it did seem like he was treating Zaizen well at least.
Maybe he'd just caught him on a bad day? At least that was the only reason he could think of right then.
Shiraishi's assumption that Kenya really was pretty damn innocent was correct though, it was hard for him not to be when he'd still rather think about happiness and ...bunnies or something. The cute stuff that you get suckered with as a child, anyway.
It was truly good to see Kenya laughing. Shiraishi always missed it, when the younger teen was talking about something serious. Which was, essentially, the reason he'd like to have punched Osamu on more than one occasion now. It broke his boyfriend's world for a little while. But that was done, now. Or... at least he assumed it was.
"You're not hiding anything else, are you?" Nevermind that he had his own encounter tucked away in the part of his mind that kept his secrets. But, Shiraishi was rather good at keeping them, so there they would stay. "May as well get it all out in the open, instead of reopening the case."
A small pout settled on Kenya's lips at that. He shook his head, eyes looking up at the ceiling as he thought about the question. Well, he could mention that Zaizen was the one sleeping with the coach, but as it wasn't his secret it wouldn't be fair, and he'd be okay with hiding that. Zaizen would tell people if/when he was ready. As far as he knew only him, Koharu and Yuuji would know about it anyway.
"I don't think so." His bottom lip jutted out a little more. "I can't think of anything anyway." Kenya gave him a hesitant smile. "Sorry you had to hear more... uh... again." He wasn't sure how to word it, just that he wanted to apologise. Partly because it put a damper on their weekend away.
"It's okay, Kenya." Shiraishi reached up to grab Kenya's wrist, gently pulling it from around his neck. He pressed his lips against the scar, kissing the reminder of Kenya's first time. That was something he wanted to rewrite one day - he wanted to inject all the romance and love-love that was missing. Not to mention Kenya freely giving himself, rather than... having to be tied.
"I'm curious as to why you're bringing it up, though." He nuzzled Kenya's wrist gently. "Did something happen to Zaizen?"
Well, he wasn't tensai smart, but Shiraishi was clever. He figured it had something to do with their cheeky second year, if it was brought up after a conversation he'd walked on.
Kenya blinked when his arm was moved, only for his hand to kind of twitch at the kiss there. He'd been covering his wrists since the incident anyway but... that was kind of nice. He sucked on his lower lip, if only to bite back the sort of happy-content purr that slipped out at the kiss. Even more so at the nuzzle there. His eyes fluttered and it distracted him enough for him to let out a soft 'uh huh' of agreement. Everyone was going to find out anyway, right? Koharu definitely would say something so...
Hopefully anyway, because that move had made his heart kind of turn to mush for a moment. "Went to him." He mumbled it quietly though, just for Shiraishi to hear. If Kenya wasn't freaking out though, Shiraishi would probably (read: hopefully) be reassured that their tensai was more than alright.
'Went to him' could have meant either way, though honestly Kenya was right. If he wasn't freaking out, Shiraishi knew Zaizen was okay. Though it did explain why Kenya was talking to Zaizen before he came out. And what he would 'find out'. Which, he had, and was now mostly okay with.
Chuckling softly, he pressed another kiss against Kenya's wrist. "Is that why you crawled into bed with me earlier?"
Exactly. Zaizen was smart too, he'd actually do something about it if he didn't want it. Osamu wouldn't actually force force sex on anyone anyway. He just... hadn't put up that much of a fuss when he'd been caught by surprise. That didn't mean it was entirely his fault, it just meant that he'd failed to actually say no properly. Ah, well.
His hand twitched again at that though, and Kenya let his eyes shut at the little tingles that reached his fingertips. It was kind of like when a cat was scratched behind it's ears, the way Kenya was lulling into a really calm state with the kisses on his wrist. "Mm, room next door you can hear everything."
Suddenly, Shiraishi was very much amused. Enough that he was laughing pretty nicely, if a little wicked sounding. "So, Koharu and Yuuji know?"
That was... very hilarious. Zaizen must not have known the terrors he was going to wake up to, then. Their poor teammate. He truely hoped that for Zaizen's sake, he didn't make it worse for himself by being his normal self. Which, was really too bad they wouldn't witness the teasing. For two reasons, really. To stop it when it got out of hand, and to enjoy the boy's torment.
Oh... oh. Kenya caught onto that a little late, partly because while his body was fast, his mind was not. Alas, Zaizen had put himself into that trap... he might have to just deal with it. "He seemed pretty embarassed when he knew I knew..." His eyes widened slightly, eyebrows going up before a burst of laughter slipped out. He pressed his face into Shiraishi to muffle it, if only because Zaizen was going to get teased to death when he woke up.
And he didn't even know the half of it, either. Damn.
They were definitely mean, weren't they? Laughing about Zaizen's impending doom while said poor kid lay sleeping in bed. But, it was far too amusing not to think of. Especially considering just how Koharu, at least, could be. Baka pair would be worse.
"Well, what comes around goes around." Shiraishi snickered. "But, we should probably get up and go to bed, too right? We still have another day of Onsen ahead of us, and I have games in store."
They really were. Kenya definitely had reason to though, what with all the teasing he went through thanks to the younger boy. Zaizen could be epically cruel when he wanted to be - even if he didn't quite mean it. Though saying that, unleashing Baka pair on him might be a little bit cruel on their part, yes. Ah well.
"Mmm," Kenya laughed again before he looked up at Shiraishi, blinking a few times. "Hey... how come you came out anyway? Were you heading somewhere?" Or had they just been too loud...? Though wait... wait. "Games?" Something about that almost made Kenya cringe, depending on what kind of games it was... He could definitely agree on sleep though, the poor kid was exhausted.
Not exactly 'cruel' per say, but Zaizen would definitely be getting all the teasing he'd done back in one lump sum. That was for sure.
Shiraishi chuckled softly, though. The word 'games' seemed to have been, if Shiraishi was right, a reminder of what he'd done over Halloween. Which, he sometimes still felt mean and guilty for. "I'm not going to die, if that's what you're worried about. I wouldn't do that to you twice." He remarked sincerely. "Harmless games like hide and seek, card games - harmless things to make our stay here more memorable."
Well, as a group, anyway. "I woke up and got worried that you were missing, though." Shiraishi smiled.
Well, that was very true. It probably didn't help that Zaizen moaned pretty loudly either. Something Kenya was going to have to bleach from his head at some point.
Kenya sulked a little at that, the memory always fresh in his mind because... well. That was even just losing his best friend. There was more in the equation now, even if he didn't understand it or try to understand it. "Better be." Card games sounded fun though, and well, Kin-chan would appreciate the hide and seek part - but they'd probably lose him if they did that game...
He flushed softly at the end comment though, eyes softening a bit. "I guess the pillow replacement didn't work then." He gave him a smile back though, a sweet small one before he pushed himself up and held his hands out to tug his best friend up afterwards.
Shiraishi's heart fluttered a little when Kenya smiled back at him. He knew he could describe what he felt for his best friend as being in love, even if they were still... so young. But it was so much more complicated than that, sometimes. It was almost daunting, as it was simple and awe-inspiring.
Needless to say, he took Kenya's hand and pulled himself off the ground. Once he was on his feet again, he leaned in to give the other teen a chaste kiss. "Not really, no. It would work if it had your muscles and warmth, though. Who knows. It could have been your replacement then." He winked playfully.
Kenya was probably lucky he didn't question it, otherwise it would probably be more complicated than he made it out to be. His smile stayed in place though, more because he felt lighter now. Huh. Maybe he should have said something sooner, but at least this way it stopped Shiraishi from being super mad.
"Like something like that could be my replacement," thankfully Kenya's ego managed to push that weird image away and instead he squeezed Shiraishi's hand lightly. Then he opened the door and tugged him through to the room, wanting to curl up with him now that he could and actually rest. That was going to be amazing.
"Nothing could be your replacement." He whispered softly as they tiptoed through the room onto their shared mattress. Snuggling up would be amazing though, Shiraishi would admit to that sentiment if he knew Kenya thought it. Then again, he did as well, so the sentiment was still there anyway.
Shiraishi tugged himself away from Kenya so he could lay down and get comfortable. This way, he could invite Kenya to use him as a pillow while they slept.
Oh, well, that made him blush bright red. Luckily he could shut the door behind them and block out the light, meaning Shiraishi wouldn't see how flustered that had made him. Especially with it being whispered. A noise caught in his throat and his heart sped up for a second, doing a quick doki-doki through his entire body before it sank to his stomach - making that flutter too. Weird. He bit down on his lip before he moved to settle down too.
He wiggled under the covers before draping himself over Shiraishi, making sure he could rest his cheek on his shoulder to avoid discomfort. Ah, there, muchmuch better. Kenya let out a tiny happy sigh and buried into him even more, curling up into the warmth.
And that was truly why the pillow didn't work. Kenya was snuggly, where as a pillow just laid there. It did nothing - no breathing, no warmth, no soft groans if he shifted too fast. It just was. That was what really woke him up. Everything about that pillow lacked Kenya, except maybe a faint trace of his scent.
Smiling to himself, Shiraishi kissed Kenya's temple and draped the covers over them better. He let himself relax much more now, knowing the air between Kenya and himself was, for the most part, clean. But where Shiraishi could live with secrets, he knew Kenya couldn't. It was better to drag them out of him, rather than let him worry. It did Kenya no good to be anything but himself.
"Goodnight, Kenya." He drawled sleepily. This was much, much more comfortable.
