The sound of his scream made Anna run. Then slide to a stop when she saw him. The Wolf shut Anna down upon the sight of him, too late to stop her from seeing him but fast enough to keep her safe. This wasn't a pretty picture and the scents were overwhelming. The tone of her voice was as cold as her eyes when she spoke, the wolf wasn't as kind as Anna. And she? She was in control.
"Quiet your infernal screaming. You'll blow out my eardrums and Anna will be livid with you." she approached carefully. "Oh, Chris, what have you gotten yourself into?" she sniffed the air and snarled. "He will die a painful, slow death." she spat out in anger. The scent of satisfaction was thick, arrogance. It made the wolf angry.
