Anna listened, her head tilted just a little, she couldn't help but let the wolf sit at the front of her head, she needed that strength to manage this. Everything he said made her nerves twitch, her body ache, memories flood back. He wasn't the only one haunted by everything he'd done or had done to him.
Slender fingers grabbed his face and turned it back to hers once he finished. She stared into his eyes, searching, piercing, stern. Cold. But the warmth seeped back in as she sighed softly. "Oh, Chris." she shook her head gently. Then the cold tone of voice was back as she spoke. "So you took out your anger, frustration, hurt, on someone else? I can smell it, Chris. You can't hide it." she snarled a little.
Anna rested her forehead against his. "You're killing me. I don't trust people. I can't. Things happen when I do and look what you've done. How am I supposed to trust you now?" she said softly, eyes lidded partially as she butted his head lightly with hers.
"I should drop you over the side." she licked her lips, fingers falling away from him as she rocked back onto her heels, staring at him. "You." she sighed a bit. "You need to go make amends with whoever it was. You need to face down Scorpius. You need me." She focused herself and hit him with a wave of her peace.
"No one's a monster but that man." she said, her tone clipped a bit as she shuddered. The longer she stayed this close to him the more memories resurfaced. Her blue eyes got a haunted look to them as she stared at him. "so what are you going to do?"
