At first, Scorpius slid off the table, making to follow Chris from the room. He wasn't sure if he wanted to just stop him, or what, but when he got to the door, he heard what was the unmistakable sound of kissing, then he heard what Chris said to the other person. Scorpius was shocked and stopped, his hand on the door as he just stared straight ahead, trying to make sense of just what the hell was going on.
He finally shook himself free of the shock, and pulled open the door just enough to watch Chris and the man disappear into the stairwell door. He had to take a moment to steady himself, because honestly, at that moment, he wanted to use a few dark curses that he knew, and knew he shouldn't every use.
It took longer than normal for Scorpius to follow, the bruises making it painful for him to walk, and when he pushed the stairwell door open, what he saw and heard... it was wrong. Everything was wrong, all the way around. Chris, the other man, nothing about anything was right. This wasn't about being rough or a quick fuck, this was scary and dangerous and something Chris would kill someone for if it was anyone else.
And it pissed him off, because Chris was going to do this to him, and was now taking it out on someone else. There was a bit more force behind the blasting curse this time, followed by a body bind, because he wasn't letting Chris have a chance to get away, but he wanted him to hear what was happening.
"I thought you said what we had was special, Merlin," he said as he approached the other man, not even sparing Chris a glance. Bloody hell, he'd never be able to call the man that again after this. "Right now, you're no better than Hale."
He crouched down next to the other man, looking him over. "You all right, mate?"
