Clarke didn't know how it all worked, she wished she did. She knew that Bellamy would be worried about what was happening back home, and though she was trying her best not to think about it, she was worried too. Would people think Bellamy had just disappeared? She hoped they wouldn't think he would just abandon them, as she had. She didn't think it did much good to dwell on what was happening at home, especially if they had no control over it. Still, she found her mind wandering to those thoughts more often than she would have liked.
"I don't know." Clarke said. She really wished she had a better answer for him. "I guess we'll find out if we go back. When we go back." Because there had to be a way. They might have been in the past, but some way would present itself, or maybe she'd wake up from this insane dream. For now, there wasn't much they could do but adjust. It was hard to trust anyone, but her own people, especially after what happened at Mount Weather.
"For now, we just have to stay here and see what we can find out. But we will make it back, all of us." Clarke said, her words sounding more confident than she actually felt. It was for Bellamy's benefit. But at least Octavia was here too, that might keep him from going completely off the rails.
