A big THANK YOU.
Posting the news of Mr. Grimaldi's obituary. It got me to thinking on a couple points.
First, I hate how sometimes how this site feels like it's just for posting news on the deaths of those who worked on the show. But the original is well over thirty years old. That's the way it works.
But second. We shouldn't wait until someone dies to give them the thanks and praise they deserve. I've always believed you should tell people how much you appreciate them while they're still here.
So I'd like to say it now.
To everyone who has ever worked on Knight Rider. To those who are still with us, and those who have passed on. If you were on-camera as a regular cast member, a guest star, had a cameo, or played an extra in the back.
If you were someone working behind the scenes, whether it was a director, producer, stunt double, music, script writer, consultant, casting director, assistant to one of the actors or crew, or just one of the many people who never received on-air credit. Even if you worked on the later versions.
To anyone out there who has ever worked on the Knight Rider franchise, (or their loved ones), and should read this, and I know those chances are slim.
Thank you, for bringing us this series/fandom, and for the work that you put into it. You probably don't hear it nearly enough, but we fans are still very appreciative of everything that you did. <3
