Who: Cameron and Sadie Where: at school When: Monday after practice Status: Complete
It had been a satisfying day for Cam. Nothing too difficult to deal with in class, running around with the popular kids like he usually did-- during lunch there’d been a ton of group selfies taken outside, everyone appearing confident, laughing, not a care in the world to look at the pictures-- and then practice. After a quick shower and the mass exodus of the other athletes, he’d decided to slip around and try more doors to try and find out where the key he’d found the previous week fit. It had only taken three or four tries of places he hadn’t hit the last time before he’d hit paydirt. The basement. Said door was always locked, accessible only to the maintenance staff and school officials. He could think of any number of ways where access to that huge space that ran beneath the school could come in handy, so he’d tucked the key away again.
As he walked down a corridor to head home, he happened to see a light from the far end. Was that Sadie’s classroom? he wondered. Yeah it was. A casual smile on his lips, his hair still damp from his shower, Cam made his way toward it. It had been too long since he’d had private time with his favorite teacher, at least a couple of weeks. Time to remedy that.
Sadie spent most of her days at school until at least five thirty or six. She coached the cheerleaders, and then usually had her own work to go over, and what she didn’t get to, she took home to finish. This afternoon, once practice had commenced, she went back to her classroom to tidy up, pack up her things, and head home. She was at her desk, sorting through some papers that needed grading, when she heard the footsteps outside in the hall. It wasn’t unusual, given plenty of teachers stayed late for whatever reason. But Sadie was surprised when she looked up to see Cam in her doorway. To her credit, Sadie didn’t blush like she had been doing at the beginning of school. It was one thing to have Cam in her house during the summer months, but things had become much trickier since school started. Sadie had given some thought to ending the non-relationship… she just hadn’t done it yet. It was difficult when the sex was as good as it was.
“Finished with practice?” Sadie asked, starting to slip her papers into her work bag to take home with her.
Was there a risk that another teacher would see them here or that one of the cheerleaders would return for something? Sure. That only made it better. He thought the school was mostly empty by now, but how could you be certain? “All done,” Cam said, taking a casual look down the dim empty hallway and then shutting the door so he could approach. He was fairly impressed with himself that he’d managed to keep her interest for this long-- because she was smokin’. He didn’t think even his uncle could catch a babe like this, and he was pretty hot for a dude.-- but here they were. Moving closer, he perched on the edge of the desk and smiled at her. He had no real plan beyond keeping this relationship going until he got tired of it, and who knew when that would be? “Long day, or are you always here this late?”
Sadie felt everything tense for a moment when Cam shut her door. If anyone walked by and saw them, it could seem very... inappropriate? Suspicious? Still, there was a surge of excitement as well, even though she wished she could tamper it down a bit. Sadie had been talking herself out of this entire Thing since it first happened but then every time he showed up at her door again, she let him inside. Apparently she had no willpower. "A bit of a long day," Sadie said, placing the rest of her papers into her bag to take home. "There was cheer practice, and then I had some things to finish up. What I didn't finish, I'm taking home. I didn't realize you were sticking around."
What Cam loved about finding her at school was exactly how fucking inappropriate it was. Even if he had a question in class, there was a little extra edge to asking it; he could convey worlds of subtle messages with a faint smile or the flicker of an eyelid. He knew that she’d have to be questioning her judgment, because if they got caught, it would be much worse for her than it would be for him. He was eighteen now, but he was still one of her students. Everything combined to add extra spice, and he thought it had been one of his best decisions in a while to stop that summer day when he’d seen her unloading groceries instead of confining his stalking to a drive-by. He shrugged a shoulder and said, “Had practice and went to stick something in my locker before I left. I saw your light on.” Carefully, he swung his legs and body around so he was facing her, nearly close enough to touch.
I saw your light on. Oh, she had heard that before, during those summer nights when he would show up at her back door. And she had let him in every single time. After a while Sadie had left a light on in her house nearly every night, just in case he drove by. Summer seemed like a completely different time now, something so removed from where they were now. School had started again, her ex-husband apparently had a boyfriend, and... things just felt strange. But Cam had been a constant in her life since June and she knew she should tell him to go home now, but it was difficult to do, especially when he shifted his body towards hers. Sadie zipped up her bag, but didn't lift it off of her desk yet. "Cam," Sadie murmured, her eyes darting to the classroom door before she looked back at him. "It's dangerous for you to be in here."
They’d had so much sex over the summer. Sometimes all Cam had to do was think of hot nights without so much as a breeze when he’d slipped into her house and then chilly bare skin beneath the air conditioning to get hard. It had been awesome to not have to worry about getting up early so he could stay late-- because his uncle never gave a shit what he did as long as he was reasonably well-behaved and didn’t blacken the family name or what the fuck ever-- and go over and over again until they’d both be worn out. He moved the leg nearest her so it was pressed against her, a slow and almost subtle movement, and then glanced up at her, a certain intentness in his gaze. “Haven’t you figured me out yet?” he said, a dark sort of amusement in his tone. “I live for danger.”
Sadie couldn't help but laugh a little before she shook her head. "At this point I'm not sure I'll ever be able to figure you out, Cam." She wasn't entirely sure she wanted to, either. Their arrangement worked because they didn't pry into each other's personal lives, and Cam wasn't clingy or obsessive. Sure they had spent a lot of time together, but there hadn't been a lot of talking going on. Sadie didn't move away when his leg touched hers, but she tilted her head to study him, a smile still playing at her lips. Her heart was already starting to beat hard again, but for reasons that had nothing to do with potentially getting caught with Cam in her classroom. "And what your plans for the rest of the night? Do you need a ride home?"
Cam’s continued freedom hinged on nobody figuring out what he was really about, so he was fine with people not seeing past the facade. He liked to have detailed information about others, because it helped him with strategic planning, but if he didn’t have it, he could still do his thing. All he needed to know about Sadie was that she was hot and she wanted him; everything else was non-essential. He didn’t want to look away from her, so he didn’t, caught in the spell of the forbidden they were wrapped up in here. “My car’s in the parking lot,” he said, his voice low and soft. “I’m not ready to go home yet, but I wouldn’t mind a ride to your home.” Would she risk the possibility of anyone seeing him get into her car? he wondered.
Sadie sometimes wondered if Cam understood the risk she was taking continuing to see him. She couldn't blame him for it, because this was her choice, but it just seemed so easy for him. Of course it was, he had less to lose than she did. She breathed in through her nose and studied him, tempted and yet, still concerned that someone might see. It was more dangerous now that school had started again. But again, Cam seemed to enjoy it. "And how would you get back here for your car?" Sadie asked, her lips twitching into a small smile. "Are you going to walk all the way back?"
“There’s always Uber,” Cam said with a shrug. For a rich kid with a phone in his pocket, there were no real obstacles. He gazed at her just as intently. This might look a little hinky if anyone came into the room, but it wasn’t as if they had any clothes off. He didn’t really care, although he knew she would. “Or we could go out to the parking lot and pretend to go our separate ways, and I could park my car on the next street over.” A wicked smile curled his lips. This wouldn’t be any fun at all if there wasn’t any need for sneaking around, if it wasn’t forbidden.
Uber. Sadie forgot about those. She was trying to imagine how it would look if someone saw she and Cam getting into her car this late after school. It had her heart beating a bit faster again, but it was so damn difficult to say no to him. Sadie honestly wished he had been terrible in bed that first time. That would have made ending things so much easier. She sighed and picked up her bag from the desk. “Just park down the street,” she told him. “I can’t risk someone seeing you in my car. I’ll keep the back door unlocked, okay?” God, she was already getting turned on just thinking about it, which made her feel absolutely ridiculous.
It wasn’t that Cam ever lacked for hook ups when he wanted, but there was something special about this. He loved the feeling of bending her to his will, of seducing. His heart beat faster too, and he could feel himself getting hard just from the thoughts that ran through his mind. From what he’d done, what he’d do. “Be upstairs waiting for me,” he whispered. “I’m gonna slip in so easy you won’t even hear me.” That was something else he’d done before, although there hadn’t been a willing participant waiting for him. He leaned in and kissed her, quicker than he wanted but he figured that was all he could get away with here.
Instinct had Sadie wanting to move away when he kissed her, only because she was afraid of getting caught - but it got her heart racing too, and the heat beginning to swirl inside of her. She would be upstairs waiting for him, probably naked and spread out the way Cam seemed to like. It was a little frustrating, that she could never find the guts to call this off, but the sex was so good and honestly, she had been feeling so lonely over the past few months. As much as she knew that wasn't a legit excuse for what was going on, Sadie couldn't quite let go of him just yet. He filled the void inside of her, despite how temporary it was. "Go," Sadie murmured, pushing lightly at his chest before walking him to the classroom door. "I'll see you in a few."
“Bye,” Cam said, his voice soft in the dimness of the corridor. He tipped her a little wave and took off, pleased with the new direction his night had taken. Once he was in the parking lot, he paused for long enough to shoot his uncle a text: hanging w/guys 4 awhile. c u later. Angus was cool and didn’t really bug him about where he was or what he was doing all that often, but Cam liked to make sure things stayed that way. He hurried over to the Mustang and got in, firing up the engine and taking off. He’d give Sadie time to get home and ready for him and he’d build his anticipation by finding a place to park and thinking about everything he wanted to do and how he wanted to do it. There was nothing in the fucking universe he’d rather be doing tonight than this.
