Sera's family had a housekeeper, of course. She knew that not everyone was as privileged as she, Jules and several others in their circle were, but she tended to forget those distinctions when she was a bit inebriated. She forgot everything except her own impulsive heart and whatever she might decide she wanted to do right then. She grinned at him, putting her foot down but not letting go of his arm. As far as she was concerned the conversation was going just fine, random as it was. "I did," she said when asked if she'd worn the sparkly shoes all night. "I didn't even take 'em off in the car." Maybe she thought she deserved a medal for that. "So, I don't remember seeing you at one of these parties before," she said, remember getting a little scrambled.
