Re: Sebastian and Hunter
Hunter raised his cup and wiggled it a little. "I've got a drink," he told him though he was going to need more of those soon. If Sabrina and Mak wouldn't find a solution soon, he'd probably end up an alcoholic as drinking seemed to blur out the ill effects of the Ouija board some. Maybe if he was drunk he'd appreciate this moment now, even if it was just a fleeting thing of a very (very!) drunk straight boy acting like an ass. It didn't mean Hunter couldn't look as long as he was subtle about it since he did not need the damn football team hating on him for perving on one of theirs. Admittedly it was somewhat of a shield that Jules Cooper actually liked him and he felt the effects of that pretty strongly with the more narrow minded boys at school.
"Didn't go to the dance," he said after taking a sip of said drink, getting only a brief glance of the way Sebastian's shirt didn't quite sit right on him in a way that was kind of hot. "But you did," he added with a grin. "Got yourself a crown and everything."
“Yes. Yes, you do,” Sebastian agreed. Mental note: cup equalled drink. He knew this. Damn, where did his brain go? Somewhere else, that was for sure, and it left a giggling, dancing ball of mush in its place. “Why not?” he asked, surprised. Everyone should do to the dance. Because it as a place to dance! And have a great time! And, clearly, there were after-parties. That was the best part, in his estimation. “I did!” he grinned, taking the crown off to look at it. “I think that means they like me. For now, at least. Wanna try it on?” he offered, head cocking slightly to the side. “It keeps falling off, but it’s, like, the one time in my life I’ll get to wear a crown around and I feel like I should rock it to its fullest extent, you know?”
Hunter had only come to the party so he wouldn't be alone, but this was making him really happy he did. Unless something shitty happened next, this stupid encounter would probably get him through the next few days. "Are you allowed to share your crown?" he asked dubiously, though a little grin was still tugging on his lips. "Might violate some royalty clause or something." He looked around as if they were conspiring something and couldn't be found out then nodded. "Put it on me." Like hell he was passing up a chance to rock a crown, depressed or not.
“Psh,” Sebastian said, shaking his head. “Don’t think it should be a problem. It’s not like it binds you to my queen or anything. Not that she’s mine. Jules is Jules’. But it’s kind of fun to be royalty for a minute,” he said, giving Hunter a little wink before he thought better of it. A little bird in his head gave him a look and he promptly squashed it. The bird. It was blue. Sebastian grinned and shifted to his knees, gently placing the crown on the top of Hunter’s head. “I crown thee, King Hunter,” he laughed. “What’s your first royal decree?”
Of course the first thing that went through Hunter's mind was that the new king should get a kiss from the old king and that was his royal decree. It was very pleasing to him to be crowned by a hot guy, on his knees no less, but the last thing he needed was to piss off the straight boys, so he pursed his lips as he thought about it. "I decree selfies are a progressive act of self love and everyone should take selfies. We should take a selfie right now so the world can see I'm king now." He slipped his phone from his pocket and opened up Snapchat to do just that. Even better if Sebastian agreed to be in the photo!
Sebastian bit his lip as he looked at Hunter with his crown on his head, that little pursing of his lips just a bit too much for him. Fuck. Okay, he needed… he needed to take a selfie with him. YES. That sounded like a good idea. It was something to focus on other than Hunter in his crown, which God he needed to stop. “Yes! That’s perfect,” he blurted out after the tiniest delay that felt like forever in his head, then he laughed, his face turning red. “You have to share it with me, though. Tag me. I mean. Selfies are more fun with people in them, you know? Right?” He’d been taking pictures all night. This was totally not excuse to be close to the cute boy.
