Landon & Open
Honestly, Landon couldn't figure out why he was there. It was the first time he'd ever stepped foot in Jules Cooper's house and it was intimidating, not only because of its size, but because of the people in it. A few of his friends had convinced him to join them and this was so out of his comfort zone that he was of the mind to find an empty room and just hide inside of it until everyone was ready to leave.
It didn't help that he had been separated from his friends within twenty minutes and he had to resist texting them, not wanting to come across as someone completely incapable of being alone in a crowd of his peers, even if that's sort of how it felt. At some point he ended up with a plastic cup in his hand full of beer and he huddled in the corner of the living room, not entirely convinced that he wouldn't be happy if the floor opened up and swallowed him whole. Stranger things have happened in this town, so it wasn't out of the realm of possibility. Thankfully everyone seemed to be having too much fun post-Homecoming to give him much trouble, so he tentatively sipped his beer - which tasted horrible - and watched the room, counting down the minutes until he could go home.
