Ty enjoyed the view, that ‘hate to see you go but love to watch you leave’ line running through his head. He thought he probably would’ve said it out loud if he wasn’t so damn tired. He was relaxed now and much happier, but seriously drained. “Yeah, if you don’t mind,” Ty said after him, pulling the nearest pillow over to tuck under his head. Water was more of a trip, but since Jared was up ... he was pretty thirsty.
The hard part had been getting up so a naked stroll to the kitchen didn't really add much trouble. Jared cleaned up a bit first and soon enough he brought back a bottle of water and a warm washcloth for them to share. "You look ready to keel over," he said with a gentle smile as he sat down next to Ty and handed him the bottle. "You think you can sleep now?"
He’d actually been on his way to dozing when Jared came back. Ty smiled and propped himself up again to take the bottle and crack it open. “I’m ready to sleep all fuckin’ day tomorrow, man,” he said, his tone laced with regret at that impossibility. “You?” Ty took a long drink from the bottle and reached for the washcloth to start wiping himself off with. He would clean up a little more thoroughly in the morning, but this would do well enough for comfort until then.
"I feel surprisingly awake," Jared said with a little chuckle. "But I have a feeling as soon my head hits that pillow... You know." There was a reason he hadn't lay down yet, he kind of wanted to see Ty off to dream land before he let himself sleep. So he sat up for now, idly brushing his knuckles against Ty's arm.
Ty wasn’t going to make him wait long, that was for sure. As soon as he felt clean enough, he tossed the wash cloth at the hamper and he polished off what was in the water bottle. Setting the empty on the nightstand, Ty settled in on his back, adjusting pillows and the sheets until everything felt right. He was usually a side-sleeper, but he was kind of afraid of hurting his nose by accident in his sleep if he wasn’t lying flat. He reached to tug a bit on Jared. “Come snuggle me,” he murmured.
"If I must," Jared sighed teasingly, eager to comply. He stretched out next to Ty, draping his arm over him and nuzzling in as close as he dared without risking bumping into his face. "I care about you a great deal," he whispered since there were words that were fighting to get out and he needed to make a compromise. He kissed Ty's shoulder and realized he was right, with his head now resting against a pillow all that energy seemed to be drained away. "You going to be okay?"
