Re: Kat & Aaron
Part of him knew it was selfish, and they should all move far away from this place, but Aaron was glad that his sister was back and his family was reunited again. Except for Joseph, of course, but their lives had done nothing but get better since he’d been gone -- for the most part, at least, besides the nightmares from the clean up. He wasn’t going to say that out loud though, like it might be tempting fate somehow. In any case, he had all of his siblings together, and had gained another one he really liked, so Aaron was feeling excellent about life. “It is,” he agreed, giving Kat another squeeze before he let her go with a bright smile. Aaron glanced at the big clock on the wall. “Oh hey, think it’s almost time for the bouquet pitch and everything ... you ready?”
As sad as it was, Kat thought they were all better off without Joseph. Losing him to that alternate world felt relatively painless, at least on their part, though sometimes she worried that he might come back. Jasper had, and Amelia had, so it seemed reasonable that her father might, however improbable. Luckily, today he was the furthest thing from her mind. When she worried about things that might go wrong at the wedding, the worst that she could imagine was a confrontation between Caden and Roxy, and even that was manageable. With Aaron’s reminder, Kat downed the rest of her drink and picked her camera back up, ready as ever. “Always,” she grinned. Even though she was a guest, she was glad to be behind the camera for this one.
