Neither of them could predict the future, obviously, or they wouldn’t be so surprised at how this whole thing was turning out. Victor had expected to get interested in some aspects about Point Pleasant, but he’d been thinking more along the lines of dark magic, rather than starting up some ... relationship? Affair? Arrangement? He didn’t know what to call it yet. Not that the label mattered to him too much, for now it just felt good to cuddle up to someone and feel bare skin against his. Everything felt promising as Victor shifted in close and draped an arm around Aidan, giving a soft huff of a laugh. “Now I want to see you try,” he murmured, amused. He dipped his head to give Aidan’s shoulder a little bite, then re-settled comfortably. “You snore?” he asked, his voice teasing but sleepy.
It was so different to curl up next to a man, but rather than focus on the differences, Aidan allowed himself to latch onto how nice it felt. It was the kind of casual affection that he was lacking and it didn’t matter if there was no real intent behind it; it still felt good. He laughed quietly as Victor nipped at his shoulder, almost wishing he could somehow get the bed out, just for the shock value of it. It wasn’t practical, but damn would it be funny. “Don’t think so,” he muttered, sleep hitting him hard now that he was allowing himself to give into it. The fatigue that he’d felt earlier had never completely faded, making it harder and harder to keep his eyes open. “Just…nudge me if I do.”
Even if Aidan turned into a buzzsaw while he slept, Victor was fairly certain he wouldn’t wake him up to make it stop. He might have thought twice about sharing his bed with someone he hardly knew if said someone didn’t look so fucking adorable all sleepy, fighting to keep his eyelids up. Not that he’d never passed out with anyone in bed before, but that was different than this explicit invitation to sleep with him. As he gave a noncommittal hum and closed his own eyes, Victor fuzzily thought about how funny it would actually be if he woke up on the floor, his bed gone along with Aidan ... but he hoped for a different sort of morning. It already felt ripe with possibilities. Victor allowed himself to fully relax, his breathing getting longer and slower as he drifted off.
