Aidan’s mind spun as Victor spoke, understanding better as he compared it to some of the things he’d enjoyed with him. He’d struggled with Victor before, though he’d never really worked at getting away, and he’d never said no specifically because he didn’t want Victor to stop. He could see the appeal though–false denial paired with restraint would truly highlight the power differences. It was something he hadn’t thought a lot about, but the more they played with it, the more he found he liked being on the receiving end. “I think I get it,” Aidan said softly. “I mean, I liked it like that, so…” His tongue twisted in his mouth, pressing against his incisor as he smirked back at Victor. “I’m not sure how I’m in control then. I mean, I know I am to some degree. I’m letting you because I want to. And I could always stop you. Though there’s probably a better way to do that than biting you or shocking you.”
He huffed a bit through his nose and nodded slightly. Aidan could always lash out with magic to stop him, but that definitely wasn’t ideal. Victor wasn’t very into being on the receiving end of pain, it tended to piss him off instead of being arousing. “You can double tap me if your mouth is full,” he said, his tone slightly suggestive since he already knew they’d both enjoyed that. “And we’ll have to figure out a safeword -- do you know what that is?” Victor had long ago lost all sense of what was common knowledge to the general population and what wasn’t. There were jokes about safewords everywhere in popular culture, but not a lot of valid discussion on what they were and why they were important. He hadn’t quite meant to get into all of this now, but since they were on the subject, Victor wanted Aidan to know he was in safe hands.
Aidan had no intention of using magic on Victor, not during sex. The option would always be there, in the back of his mind, but only if he truly felt cornered with no other way out. There were a hundred other options to warn Victor if he was uncomfortable, even with his mouth full, and while he was sure he could get creative, it was nice to know what Victor preferred. He could easily have tapped out while his mouth was full of Victor’s cock, though at no point had he wanted to. Aidan grinned, biting into his bottom lip at the memory, but then focused his attention on Victor’s question. “I’ve… heard the term,” he said, discomfort creeping back in, though this time for different reasons. It was hard for him to tell if this was something Victor knew because of his lifestyle choices, or if this was general knowledge that he just missed out on because of his lot in life. His fingers raked lightly over Victor’s chest as he spoke, eyes darting between his fingers and Victor’s eyes, no longer quite holding his gaze. “I… I’m not… I’m not well versed in what’s current. Online, or in music, or movies… So it’s more like an educated guess.”
Victor appreciated that Aidan kept touching him, like some of the reassurance needed to go both ways. It was likely a subconscious thing, but it was nice anyway. He almost chuckled at the idea that safewords were anything new or just discussed on the internet, but he didn’t want Aidan to think he was mocking him in any way. It obviously wasn’t the easiest thing for him to talk about in the first place. “Your guess is probably good,” Victor murmured with a small smile. It wasn’t rocket science. “It’s just a code word -- it’s usually best if it’s something ridiculous and totally unsexy that you wouldn’t say by accident -- to tell your partner you want everything to stop immediately. So there’s no mistaking a real ‘no stop’ for a playful one ... though ‘Stop’ is a good enough safeword if you’re not playing that way. Me, I like the traffic light system ... green is everything’s good, yellow means ease up or slow down, red is a hard stop. But I’m flexible.” Victor paused, then gave a soft laugh and bumped heads with Aidan again. “Sorry I’m over here giving you like, BDSM 101 lessons. Didn’t mean to. I just want you to come back, that’s all.”
