Who: Jared and Ty When: evening, Friday, June 22 Where: home Warning: NSFW Status: complete
When Ty had gone out earlier in the day, he hadn’t quite expected to return with a job. He’d intended to do some hunting, sure, but the talk with Marshall Nolan had gone so well, he felt hired already, and it sounded like Marsh was on the same page. It was a good feeling. Ty knew that this gig wasn’t going to pull in a ton of money, especially only being part time, and that he might struggle at times with the issues that being Over There had jammed into his brain ... but it still felt good. He was going to be doing something useful and contributing to the household and all that good stuff.
He was kind of excited to tell Jared, but Ty saved the news until that evening. They had a couple of windows open to let in the breezy air before the storm really rolled in, and Ty had started making dinner for them, pausing to sip on a beer now and then. “Hey babe?” he called into the apartment as he eyed their side options in the freezer. “What do you think with fish -- steamed broccoli or these snow peas?”
"Both," Jared called back cheerfully and he could eat a lot so it didn't really feel excessive, mostly he just couldn't pick because he liked both a lot and they both paired well with fish. "Need any help in there?" he tacked on. He'd cooked the night before and he was perfectly fine with letting Ty take care of it tonight, lounging in front of the TV with Friends on replay for probably the hundredth time. He'd been busy today and if he had it his way they'd have a firepit outside where they could really lounge and feel cozy. Castle View did not offer that so that was a mental note for wherever they ended up buying.
Ty huffed an amused sound as he grabbed both bags of frozen vegetables to steam. He was making rice too, so it should be plenty to fill them up, but he should’ve guessed that Jared would always opt for more food. “Yeah, come talk to me,” he replied as he nudged the freezer shut. He could dimly hear what Jared was watching, the same tired old sitcoms, and while he didn’t really need help cooking, he wanted the company. And it would give him a chance to tell Jared about his day while he was doing something else with his hands.
Jared was happy to leave the TV on for just background noise, pushing himself up off the couch and heading to the kitchen. "Look at you, all domestic," he murmured as he sidled up to Ty and patted his ass. "Need me to chop anything? Stir anything?" He smirked. "Fondle anything?" Yeah, dorky flirting was his thing and if Ty wanted his company, he had to be braced for that. He still kind of felt like they were in a hotel or something, this place wasn't really theirs, but it still felt like home, especially when they were cooking and the TV was on, there was just something really soothing about it all.
He was well versed in Jared’s dorky flirting, and Ty always ate it up, so he had no complaints. “I mean, I always need fondling,” he said with a grin, pausing to turn and steal a kiss from his husband. “But nah, I got it handled, just hang out with me.” He didn’t mind the TV on for background noise, but he couldn’t watch it from there, so it was nicer to have Jared there to talk to while he did the mindless cooking stuff. Ty stuck one of the steamable bags in the microwave and went to add a bit more olive oil to the sizzling fish. That done, he glanced back at Jared. “I’ve got some news, actually,” he said, still smiling.
Jared accepted what he saw as an offer and lightly fondled Ty's ass before backing off and giving him space to actually cook. He quirked a brow at the news part and so far, Ty having news wasn't always a good thing. He didn't look upset though so that was a good sign at least and Jared quieted his racing mind which immediately started jumping to conclusions. "Give me news," he said with a smile and tried not to get ahead of himself. He hadn't been sticking close to Ty all the time, even if he wanted to, and he hadn't been looking him over for scrapes and bruises every time they came home either and that made him feel like he had a pretty good handle on his paranoia for now.
Ty knew by now how quickly anxiety could take hold of his husband, so he didn’t waste time. He flashed Jared a grin and gestured to himself. “I got a job,” he announced, like he’d made some grand accomplishment. Ty tittered and added a sprinkle of lemon pepper on top of the fish, his tone returning to normal as he went on. “I saw an ad for help needed at a new vet’s office opening up, so I stopped by there earlier today to check up on it, maybe put an application in. The owner is the uh, oldest Nolan son? You know the Nolans, right?” He glanced over his shoulder at Jared to confirm. “Anyway, he’s apparently a vet and opening up his first practice, and he needs some part time help. We kinda hit it off, and he wants to give me a job, so.” He grinned again and shrugged a little.
Working at a vet's office sounded kind of perfect for Ty, Jared knew he had a good head on his shoulders and it was far better than going back to being a deputy. He hadn't thought Ty was ready to go back to work at all though so he was obviously surprised, not necessarily in a bad way. "That's great," he said evenly. "Yeah I know the Nolans, good people as far as I know. That's- if you're ready then that's fantastic news." Very surprising news and he wasn't fully sure how to react to it. "Will you be handling the animals a lot?" he asked curiously and that could be good for Ty, animals tended to have a soothing effect on people - but it could also be bad if he got all scratched up and infected by something. His lack of pain was still at the forefront of Jared's brain, an understandable worry despite Ty showing accelerated healing.
He thought could hear Jared’s reservations without him having to say them out loud, and while it didn’t deflate him or anything, Ty’s smile lost a bit of wattage. “It sounded like it, yeah,” Ty answered. “Which, I know -- I’ll have to be careful, of course. But it’s only part time, you know? I feel ready for that. Something to kinda ... get me on my feet again.” He knew he wasn’t ready to go back to police work, and he wasn’t sure if he ever would be, but Ty had never been one to just sit around the house either. Part of the torture of being Over There had been all of the idle hours, that awful mixture of the need to constantly be vigilant and unbelievable boredom. Ty glanced over at Jared, trying to read his expression. “I think it’ll be good, I like him already,” he offered. “He’d heard about you and me dating, so it kind of came out that he’s bi, too. So we kinda ... bonded over that.” He chuckled faintly.
Jared opted for a joking response to that, he hadn't loved Ty as long and as much as he did without learning to recognize his moods, however subtle, and the last thing he wanted to do was spoil the moment by being the overprotective and boring husband. He straightened up and craned his neck a bit, playfully narrowing his eyes. "Is this something I gotta worry about?" he teased gruffly. "You gonna go all soap opera on me with a hot vet?" He couldn't keep the grin at bay to maintain the joking sulk so he didn't try. "I'm gonna have to visit you at work and posture at this guy, stake my claim. Is he taller than me?" Underneath it all he understood the need for community. He hadn't ever felt like he needed it, but being with Ty was starting to make him understand. He'd been living the heterosexual lifestyle for so long and suddenly he felt a bit outside of it and he could only imagine how much more so Ty felt and for how much longer.
Ty barked a laugh. “Aw, babe, nobody’s taller than you,” he assured him. “Nah, he was shorter than me, and definitely younger than us. I can’t be messin’ around with some young buck, they’re way too much drama.” He shot Jared a grin. “He’s definitely cute though, so maybe I’ll have to do my own posturing if you come visit.” It more amused Ty than anything else to think about some other guy flirting with Jared. He couldn’t even picture Jared flirting back, if he was being honest, like it all just wouldn’t compute for him. Ty appreciated that sense of security, but it made him wonder if Jared ever even noticed other men being attractive. “He also knows that we are happily married,” Ty added, just so Jared would know he did make that clear.
Jared gave him a smug smile that was for the most part joking as well. "Good to hear," he murmured. "Don't need some young buck moving in on my territory." He eased up on the posturing he was currently doing and gave his man a warm smile. "I think it'll be good for you, especially if you get to cuddle puppies on the regular." He wanted to say that he wasn't at all worried about Ty getting tempted by some hot guy but he'd be lying if he did. He trusted Ty though, had nothing but trust and love for him and he refused to give that up without a good reason. "Maybe you'll find a dog for us to rescue." There were plenty of rescue dogs out in the world and some near by so it wasn't like they had to search but sometimes things felt fated and with Ty it so often felt like everything just fell into place.
He didn’t honestly think there was a man alive who could be a real threat to their relationship, but Ty still had eyes in his head and the world was full of hot men. He could recognize that without wanting to act on any of it. Ty loved Jared desperately, they kept each other happy and satisfied, nobody was going to ruin that for them. They’d been through too much to really put any of it in jeopardy. Ty picked up a spatula to flip the fish over, then went to change out the steaming veggies in the microwave. “Hey, maybe so,” he agreed. That idea hadn’t occurred to him yet, but it wouldn’t surprise him if he fell in love with some pup needing a home. “I bet I’ll get to invite you for puppy cuddles too,” Ty added, shooting Jared another smile. “And kittens. And whatever else we got. Marshall was saying he’d probably need me for some farm visits too here and there ... as long as nothin’s eviscerated, I told him it’ll be easier than I’m used to dealing with.”
"Ooh," Jared cooed, his interest now piqued. "You gotta stick with that job until spring, you might get to help some four-legged critter into the world." He probably wouldn't but the idea was still kinda sweet, helping birth a calf or whatever, baby animals were just cuteness all around. "I'll take a puppy cuddle session anytime, it'll be like eye-bleach when I go back to work." There weren't a lot of things about the job that he hated but they sure seemed to be stacking up in the last year. There were places he now refused to go and that was going to be a problem for a cop. He just hoped he wouldn't have to deal with them ever again. He didn't even really want to think about that part of the job now, focusing on the here and now and his handsome man looking happy at the thought of puppy cuddles. "That's the good thing about you not being a cop anymore, we can get a dog when we get a house without having to worry about it being alone all the damn time. If you stay with the vet I'm sure you can even take it with you to work."
The first part made Ty laugh as he pictured himself trying to pull a baby calf out of a cow -- he had little idea what that looked like, so his mind couldn’t provide many graphic details, thank god. It would just be a comedy of errors in Ty’s brain, so he was glad he would have direction from an actual veterinary professional if it came down to that. Puppy cuddles were much more fun to think about. “Yeah,” he agreed, sounding pretty enthused about the idea of a house and a dog and having time to actually enjoy both. Ty didn’t know yet if that would make financial sense for them long-term, but he was trying not to think about that kind of shit until it actually became a problem. If he needed to get a fuller-time job eventually, he would, but for now this felt right. “It could be like, a vet’s office mascot,” he said, dreaming up a sweet black lab type dog to flop at his feet and keep him company. “When do you think you’ll go back?”
"I wasn't gonna go back until August," Jared said as he considered it. "But if you're gonna be working then I might just go earlier, depends on how the house-hunting goes. I'd like to have some free time to adjust to a new place, fix whatever might need fixing and all that. I don't want you to have to take care of everything." He moved to grab some plates and glasses, feeling like eating at the table tonight, having some quality time with Ty without the distraction from the TV. "You know how when work gets crazy here it goes all out balls to the wall insane so..." And they could use the income. They were comfortable right now with having sold both Jared's place in Seaview and Jared's share in the house he'd owned with Sadie, but all that money was about to disappear when they invested in a new place and then they'd still have a mortgage. Being an adult could really suck.
August was still over a month away, but Ty knew that time could fly by. Especially if they were house hunting and buying and all that, just like Jared said. “Well you know Grady’ll take you back whenever you want to show up,” he said. “I think he was kinda disappointed that I wasn’t coming back immediately.” Or maybe ever, but Ty wasn’t sure how comfortable he was saying that out loud too often. He still had mixed feelings. He started bringing the food to the table to dish it out onto the plates Jared set down, then busied himself getting them some drinks and utensils and all that. It was nice to actually have a real kitchen to move around in, instead of a tiny cramped galley with a stove like in the RV. This apartment wasn’t going to be their permanent home, but it was their first married dwelling, so it felt like home on some level. “And I don’t have to take care of everything, but I can handle a lot,” he added, shooting Jared a smile.
"You could take care of everything by yourself," Jared said and that wasn't just flattery, Ty was a very capable man and he had no doubts about his abilities to get everything ready and set up if Jared didn't have the time. "If we want to be technical about it. I just don't want you to." He reached for Ty's hand when he finally joined him, giving it a little squeeze before he helped himself to the food. "This smells amazing," he murmured. "Thanks for cooking, babe. So any idea when you're gonna start?" Part time sounded fine and he suspected working for a vet meant Ty would be home no later than five or six in the day so that wasn't too bad. If anything, he was more worried about going back to work himself and knowing Ty was home alone at night. Capable or not, Jared had plenty of reasons to worry about him.
Ty settled in and picked up his fork to start mixing the veggies and rice together. “Nah, not sure yet,” he answered. “But soon, probably. I think he really needs the help, he’s opening up next week, I think. He wanted to hire me and one other part time person, so we’ll see. I might be the only extra hands for a while, didn’t sound like he’d found many candidates he liked.” Ty couldn’t help but feel a bit smug about that -- he’d obviously walked right in and made a better impression than anybody else. It was nice to know he wasn’t too stunted to manage that. Ty glanced up from his food to Jared’s face. “It’ll be good for me, to have something to leave the house for a few days a week. That way you won’t get sick of me, too.”
"Well, thank God for that," Jared tittered and it was hard to imagine getting sick of Ty but he also knew distance made the heart grow fonder and all that - he just felt like they'd taken that part to the limit already. But Ty wasn't disappearing and if Jared missed him it would be easy to drop by the vet's office. "But yeah, having nothing to do would drive you insane, not that we won't have plenty to do once we find a place but who even knows when that'll be." Especially since he needed that place to be perfect. Nowhere near Seaview, not haunted, no dark history and yet affordable. Did such a place exist in Point Pleasant? "I don't blame the guy, I would have hired you on the spot too. He just better not get handsy." He winked at Ty to make sure he knew he was kidding, Ty could handle himself and Jared was determined not to become a distrustful dick about it. He couldn't imagine ever cheating on Ty and honestly he had a hard time imagining Ty cheating on him.
He had a feeling that they would find something “perfect” for them in Point Pleasant sooner rather than later, but Ty was aware that might be his paranoia talking. They had been gone from the town for a while, and he kept getting the weird sense that it was welcoming them back, making things easy to stay -- they had a nice apartment, jobs were clicking easily into place, it felt like home again ... even his mother had been cheerful about their return. He suspected that some perfect little place would pop up just for them in good time, but that was a crazy thing to say aloud, so Ty kept it to himself. He grinned at his man instead. “I’ll tell him my giant cop of a husband will have strong opinions about it, if he tries anything,” Ty said, his tone also joking. He could handle himself, but it was also kind of fun to have a physically intimidating partner to fantasize about siccing on people who bothered him. Jared was a big sensible teddy bear who would probably be rightfully upset with him for allowing any groping to happen, but still. It was cute in his head. “You want to maybe drive around tomorrow? See if there’s any For Sale signs on any houses that look interesting?”
Jared couldn't help but square up a little at Ty's description of him and he'd happily play the role of overprotective hubby if it ever came to that, he'd definitely had to do that for girlfriends - and wife - in the past, but Ty? Doubtful. He'd enjoy the posturing though, happy to show up for his man at any given moment. He liked the idea of driving around, maybe finding something that felt destined for them. He didn't want to think that way because it was such wishful thinking but he couldn't help but feel a lot like Ty did - that they were owed some grace here. "You know I'm going to be so anal about getting all the history on every place we look at," he murmured. "But a gut feeling beats a nice online review every time, so yeah. Let's go for a nice Saturday afternoon drive around town."
“Oh yeah, any house in this fucking place needs a thorough background check,” Ty agreed with a low chuckle. Luckily they had the resources for that -- he was sure Grady wouldn’t mind them checking back through police records on any address they took an interest in. It was going to be hard to find a place in Point Pleasant that wasn’t tied to some kind of violence in its history, but he thought those gut feelings Jared mentioned would steer them right. Even if it didn’t ... compared to the other shit they’d been through, Ty wasn’t even sure a mild haunting would bother him much. “You know, Brianna McCarthy’s a realtor. If nothing jumps out at us immediately, of course. Might help to have another set of eyes looking.”
"I don't even want to guess what her rates would be," Jared admitted. "Unless you think she'd do it for you as a favor." He found that hard to believe but not impossible, maybe they were like army buddies now, they'd been in the trenches together, survived a long bout of an awful and traumatic situation together, maybe she felt like she owed Ty. Jared was pretty sure Ty had done his best to keep everyone civil and safe over there, relying on his experience as a cop to do so but he wasn't going to bank on everyone realizing that. "If we get desperate you can give her a call, just don't let her tempt you into some mansion up on that hill."
“You couldn’t pay me to live there,” Ty muttered with a snort. It hadn’t really occurred to Ty to ask for it as a favor. He had done his damnedest to keep everything together and everyone safe over there, but it had seemed almost as much for himself as it had been for them. He would’ve completely lost his mind with nothing to do. He didn’t know if Brianna appreciated his efforts or not, but now that she was on his mind, he was itching to talk to her. Ty got that weird feeling again that he could just turn around and see her, wherever she was in town. Like he could reach out and touch her, even though he knew that wasn’t possible. They were all so tied together now. “I can feel her,” he murmured to Jared, his eyes a little glassy as he looked off into the middle distance. “All of them, really. Out there. It’s so strange.”
Ty had mentioned that before once and Jared was no more prepared to deal with it now than he had been then. At least now he wasn't upset but he couldn't say the words didn't rattle him a little. "You ain't talked to any of them yet, have you?" he asked quietly and thought of Carson and the awful secrets that Jared now knew about him along with all the things he wasn't sure he wanted to know. "She might not be the worst one to approach first." It wasn't his place to push Ty into doing that, his husband would get it all done when he was good and ready but Jared wanted him to know he had his back - in this just like everything else. He might not understand it, hell it might scare the shit out of him, but he still had Ty's back through it all.
Ty shook his head in answer to the question. He hadn’t tracked any of them down, he just kind of knew where and vaguely how they all were. “You might be right,” he agreed in a murmur. Ty hadn’t exactly become best friends with anyone over there, but some of them just seemed more naturally level-headed. At least that was his impression from being crammed together with them for a hellish eternity, in extremely stressful circumstances. “Her or Greer, maybe. I’m kind of hesitant to approach Miriam D’Onofrio, you know? Or some of the other men who were there. I should check on Sage, though,” Ty said, not sure if he was really talking to himself or Jared now. All of this was highly weird, and while he’d gotten used to that to some degree after so much exposure to bizarre shit, he knew his husband hadn’t. Ty paused and gave him a wan smile. “It’s all still strange to think about, huh?” he murmured.
"Not an easy thing to wrap your head around," Jared agreed with a wan smile of his own and it really was one of those things he still didn't fully believe had actually happened, like his brain just couldn't process it properly and ended up shoving it way back in his mind to be 'dealt with later'. Dealing with it meant acknowledging they were moving back to a dangerous hell spot and he couldn't reconcile their move with what had happened without something short circuiting so he just didn't. Even when Ty brought it up something just felt like it went sideways in his brain and he couldn't linger there for long or he'd drive himself insane. It made it hard to understand how Ty had actually survived it. "Just remember, you're not responsible for them. I know you and I know you want to help everyone but right now you need to focus on yourself."
Sometimes Ty was certain that something in his brain had snapped, that all of them had become necessarily crazy on some level, in order to believe and process what had happened to them. What was still happening, to some degree. Or maybe it hadn’t snapped, it had just been stretched to become more flexible. He didn’t know. Ty just knew it had all been real, and all he had to do was nick himself shaving or painlessly stub his toe to get proof of it. If that wasn’t brain cancer, of course, but Ty knew deep in his gut that it wasn’t. That place had changed him, and he didn’t blame Jared for being unable to accept that yet. Ty was still working on it himself. The last part made him chuckle and he playfully rolled his eyes across the table. “Yes mom,” he murmured, smirking. “Self care and doctor’s appointments, I’ve got it down.”
"You know I prefer it when you call me daddy," Jared replied in same, giving him a cheeky smirk. "But if I have to mom you every now and then, I will do that too." He wasn't pushing too hard though, they'd talked about this and he made sure to just keep an eye on what Ty was up to, not nagging him about any of it until he felt like it had all taken too long and he thought Ty was actively putting it off. "Just pick one person you think will be easiest to talk to and go from there, one at a time. You wanna tell me something about them? I don't know anything about Greer." It was both a good and bad thing to not know about people, it meant they hadn't been in trouble but it also meant they hadn't been very active or visible in the town's events. Jared liked to know at least a little bit about everyone so he could know what to expect when dealing with them.
It was good to have a partner who would harass him with his best interests at heart, instead of some bullshit judgement like his real mother did. Though that had gotten better since he’d come back. Ty’s smile widened a bit when Jared asked about Greer -- they hadn’t gotten super close, but she was one of the ones Ty had actually liked. “She’s this boho-hippie-type white lady from California,” he said, none of it sounding like a bad thing. “She tells fortunes and reads palms and everything. But not in a scam way, in a sincere way. And hey, get this, she’s got two boyfriends. Who are also boyfriends with each other. And you’ll never guess who one of ‘em is.” Ty gestured in a triangle with his fork, grinning over at Jared. It sounded like an intimate detail to know about someone, but Ty had quickly found that Greer was an open book. “I think you’d like her.”
She did sound fun and Jared was starting to feel like maybe there were far more bisexual and gay people in this town than he'd ever realized. Maybe coming out was letting other people open up to them in a way they hadn't before. "Are you really gonna make me guess?" he asked before plopping a bite of food in his mouth and cocking a brow at Ty. He was already wondering who he knew of in town who was a good candidate for a threeway relationship and a bisexual one at that. "Your vet?" he shot for, since he was the only bisexual he could think of other than Carson who was very much not in town - something Jared was thankful for because he wasn't ready at all to deal with that whole thing.
It was as good a guess as any, but if Ty had walked into the vet’s office already knowing that about Marshall, the conversation probably would have gone differently. So he shook his head to both questions, already tickled with anticipating Jared’s reaction. Talking to Greer about it hadn’t been nearly as much fun Over There, but being home put a very different perspective on it all. “Rost, the uh -- not Russian, but whatever, Eastern European guy at the cemetery,” Ty revealed, grinning a bit. They were both very familiar with the man, having been called out there many times, and Ty had personally never suspected that he ever got laid at all, much less in a bisexual trio. “Plus a boyfriend she brought with her, but that’s not nearly as fun,” he added with a little laugh.
Jared's eyes went wide at the revelation and raised his hands to his face in an expressive way. "Mustache?" he exclaimed. "Oh damn." He was pretty sure he didn't have a gay- or bidar but he was still kind of amazed that Rost was bi of all people. The man seemed so solitary, living by himself in that little trailer by the cemetery. Jared never understood how he could live there in the first place but he was admittedly an odd man even if he was nothing but friendly when Jared had needed to deal with him. "Find out something new and surprising all the time. A boho-hippie-type sounds about right for him, wonder what the guy's like."
Ty laughed and nodded a bit at the mustache gesture -- it was impossible to miss on the man, very distinctive. All that playful facial hair was kind of coming back into style, but Rost had been doing it for decades, he was sure. “I’m not sure,” he said. “I just know he’s Irish, and his grandfather lived here or something? We didn’t get too in depth about any of it. Talking about loved ones ... I dunno, sometimes it felt like I needed to or I would burst, other times it was just too painful, so. None of us pushed each other for information.” And just like that, he was back in depressing territory. Ty took a swig from his beer and tried to steer it back. “Maybe we ought to meet up with them sometime. Play some cards or something. After I talk to Greer, of course. We just ... I dunno, need some couple-friends. ... Oh! Speaking of, I asked Grady about the mystery woman from the fundraiser.”
"Oh lord," Jared tittered. "How awkward did he get?" That was a pure tease, he knew Grady was a private man and could get a little awkward about things but he doubted he was all coy and weird about this lady, whoever she was. "You have to spill the deets now, are they dating? Will we see our beloved sheriff smile a little more?" He couldn't remember Grady ever dating and while it was entirely possible that he'd done so and kept it secret, Jared didn't think so. He was pretty sure all the deputies agreed that Grady could do with a little fun and relaxation in his life and a pretty lady could definitely help with that.
“They are dating,” Ty confirmed, grinning again. “And her name’s Dahlia, and she’s an artist of some kind. He did all right, he just blushed a lot, it was cute.” He snickered a bit himself. Ty liked Grady a great deal, and it was nice to see him actually seem interested in someone. There had been plenty of ladies who’d tried to flirt and get in good with him, Ty had witnessed it happen, but it all seemed to just slide right off of Grady’s uniform. He wondered how this woman had gotten past the starched armor, and hoped to find out sometime. “He said it was going really well, so hopefully she can get him to relax and enjoy himself for five minutes, at some point.” Ty forked up some more food to pop into his mouth, thinking he’d done a pretty good job on dinner.
"Dahlia," Jared echoed, drawing out the name with obvious approval. "Well she's a beauty, lucky Grady." He just hoped she was nice too, Grady deserved good things, especially since he put up with a lot of bad things all the damn time. When was the last time he'd gone on vacation? Jared honestly couldn't remember. "Maybe we'll get to meet her at whatever charity ball we'll attend next - or staff party. Or maybe we can invite them over for dinner sometime." It helped that he genuinely liked his boss, Grady had always been fair and understanding, even when he separated him and Ty from doing patrols together. That part was understandable even if it had been frustrating. "Can you tell I'm curious about what kinda woman actually got through to him?"
He laughed a bit and playfully narrowed his eyes at Jared. “Don’t get too curious, she is definitely a beauty,” he warned, obviously teasing ... mostly, anyway. They’d grown a lot together, and Ty didn’t really worry anymore that Jared would eventually be lured away from him by a woman -- especially not a woman who was already dating a friend of theirs -- but he did wonder occasionally if Jared ever missed being in a hetero relationship. He seemed happy, aside from all the horrible bullshit they’d been through, and that was all Ty could keep trying to maintain. If Ty lost him now, he had no idea how he would recover. “But yeah, we should host a dinner sometime,” he went on to agree. “We’re definitely having a housewarming party once we buy, too.”
Jared hadn't even thought about it that way, that he might be interested in a woman, especially not one who was seeing Grady, so he scoffed softly at Ty's teasing and dismissed it as a joke. The thought of a house warming party made him a little giddy - until it didn't. When he thought about who to invite, the list was so short and pathetic; Sadie was dead and Carson was both out of town and possibly Sadie's killer. Jared didn't really have a whole lot of friends in town, work buddies and some guys he had drinks with every now and then but not real friends. "We should invite Rost and his lovers," he said playfully to push that sudden chilling feeling away. "I'm very curious about that whole thing too."
Ty didn’t have a huge guest list in mind either -- Grady and Bailey and Amelia, the handful of guy friends they had between them, maybe a few of his fellow fog aliens. By contrast, the short list didn’t bother Ty at all. He had several good, solid people in his life, and considering what he’d been through, that was all he felt like he needed. “Are you?” he asked Jared with a smirk. “I am too, honestly.” He had been reluctant enough to get into one relationship after his lifetime of bachelorhood, he couldn’t imagine trying to juggle two at once. Or developing feelings for anyone else as strong as his love for Jared. “Should I be expecting a future request for a sister wife or anything?”
"God no," Jared blurted out without even thinking about it and the mere thought of it made him pull a face before laughing. "It seems like a lot of hassle, not judging but... That's not for me." He quirked a brow at Ty again, watching him curiously. "What about you? That something you could see yourself being into?" He hoped the answer was no, he didn't really want to even imagine sharing Ty with someone, didn't even attempt it because why do that to himself if the answer turned out to be no? He was pretty sure he'd hate it with every fiber of his being and while he could see how it might work for other people, juggling lovers had never been his game.
“What, having a wife?” Ty asked, raising his brows before he chuckled. He knew what Jared meant, and it didn’t appeal to him at all either. “Naw, baby, there’s no way. I don’t need anybody but you.” He gave his husband a warm smile and nudged his leg under the table. “Plus yeah, it does kind of sound like a pain in the ass.” Ty laughed softly again. He was interested to ask Greer and her boys questions too, if they were open to it. He supposed he needed to actually talk to her first. “I wonder if they all sleep together at the same time. I don’t think we could fit anybody else in bed with us anyway.”
"I wouldn't want to get relegated to the couch," Jared mused and he was trying to imagine the kind of giant bed they'd need if they added a third to their relationship. As it was, it was hard enough to find a comfortable bed for him alone. "Maybe her other boyfriend is very small." He tittered at that and at least he knew Rostislav was not a bulky man so that probably helped some. "You and me got too much muscle between us to fit a third," he decided. "We'd need an obscenely large bed." Not that he wouldn't mind that kind of bed for just the two of them but that was beside the point. "But yeah, you're enough for me and I want to be enough for you too."
Ty scoffed at the first part, because Jared would never be the one on the couch, even in this dumb little polyamorous hypothetical of theirs. Maybe Ty would’ve been more inclined to consider it if he was at all interested in women, they could probably fit a lovely female between them, but he wasn’t. As long as Jared felt like all his needs were met, Ty was perfectly happy with staying monogamous. “An obscenely large bed sounds kinda fun anyway,” he said with a crooked sort of grin. “Maybe we need to look for a huge master bedroom so we can get something custom made where we can both sprawl out. ... You’re definitely enough for me, babe. And I’m not like, serious of course, but I dunno, sometimes it crosses my mind that you might miss women, you know?”
Jared's expression went from mild confusion to something softer at that and he shook his head as he tried to think of how best to explain how he felt. "I don't miss women," he started with, because that was the simple truth of it. "I didn't miss other women when I was in a relationship with a woman, just like I don't miss - or want - other men when I'm with you. Might as well worry I miss being with blondes, it makes about as much sense." He reached over and caught Ty's hand, smiling at him and hoping to god he believed him. "I love you, I don't want anyone else." His gaze ticked upwards and his smile turned to a little smirk. "Although now that we've brought up the obscenely big bed, I think I'd like to share one of those with you alone."
The small bit of insecurity that still lived in Ty wanted to pipe up and point out that he didn’t have the same bodily equipment that women had, and maybe Jared still had some instinctive desire for vaginas and breasts and all that, but it sounded ridiculous enough in his head that he didn’t want to voice it out loud. So he told that insecurity to shut up and squeezed his man’s hand, smiling back. “I love you too,” he murmured. “You’re the only one I want to be obscene with in an obscenely large bed.” Ty grinned at him a bit, fingers tightening on Jared’s again before he let go to eat some more food. “Like I said, it’s not a huge worry all the time or anything, just a passing thought. I just want you to be as happy as possible, you know?”
"I got you back," Jared murmured. "I couldn't be happier." That wasn't wholly true of course, he'd probably be happier without the fear that things might go wrong again, without all the grief still gnawing at him, but when it came to love? More happiness might make him float away and he needed his feet on the ground. "I get that, you know, I'm bi and I've loved a lot of women but I love you now. I didn't miss other women when I was with Sadie, I don't with you either and I don't want to try to be with other guys. You only got my word for it but I promise you, you're more than enough for me, I'm happy with you and I don't miss or need anyone else."
Ty wanted to tell him it wasn’t that serious, but all of that was still sweet to hear and he ate it up, smiling over at Jared once he’d washed down his bite of actual food. “I believe you,” he told Jared, nudging him with his foot again. “I really do. I’m not pressed about it, I promise ... and now even less, so. But if you ever want me to shave and put on a blonde wig or something, you just say the word, okay?” Ty gave him a teasing smile. It was good to hear that Jared didn’t feel like he was missing anything, and he hoped it was enough to satisfy those random bubbles of worry that came up now and then. “My boobs are a little smaller than they used to be, but I can hit the gym again.”
Jared was already laughing at the wig, but that last line took him out and he pulled back his hand to press it against his chest as he leaned back and laughed. "Your tits are perfect, baby," he wheezed some seconds later. "And I really, really don't need you to put on a wig." He was just glad his mouth hadn't been busy right in that moment or he would have sprayed food over the table and probably Ty too but the mental image of Ty in a wig, trying to be all femme was just too much. He drew a deep breath, still snickering a little. "I'll consider the shaving though, I like you with and without a beard."
Making Jared laugh like that was always a joy, and Ty giggled to himself while his man recovered enough to speak again. Grinning, he reached up to smooth his fingers over his beard. He’d cleaned it up since returning home, of course, but he was kind of fond of the facial hair now, at least until it started to get hot outside. “I might shave it when summer really kicks in,” he said ponderously. “But I dunno, I think I could rock some lipstick at least, if you’re into that.” Ty air-kissed at Jared a bit and then laughed again. It was all in good fun, but honestly he felt way more open to everything in life now for some reason. It was all too short and fleeting to give a shit about stupid stuff. “I just love you and I’d do anything for you, you know that.”
"You know the feeling's mutual," Jared murmured and while he didn't worry about it actually coming to that, he knew he'd cross all sorts of lines for Ty if he had to, ethical and legal both. "I love you so much, nothing else really matters." He felt intensely corny for a moment, like if he kept dwelling on it he'd get all misty about it, but that was okay, these were not feelings he was ashamed of. "And you can keep the beard as long as you want, I like it on you." He knew it'd be tempting to shave it off during the hotter summer months, Ty was just lucky that he looked great both with and without it. It made him think of how low-key traumatizing it was to little kids when their dads shaved off their beards and how that wasn't going to be an issue yet but the thought of the two of them with kids made him feel a little warmer. One day. Hopefully soon.
“Thanks for the permission, daddy,” Ty teased with a crooked grin. He would see how he felt in the coming months. He liked his bare face too, but there was just something about the beard that felt right lately, like it tied him to who he really was now since he’d had no choice but to grow it out in that other place. He was different, so it made sense for him to look kind of different too. It didn’t make him upset to think about either, oddly, it just was what it was. Ty finished up the food on his plate, then stood up to start clearing the table off once Jared was done too. “We should get outside somewhere tomorrow,” he suggested as he started rinsing dishes to put them in the washer. “Have a hike or something. After mostly living in the great outdoors for so long, I’m feeling kinda cooped up.”
"Now you're singing my song," Jared said with a smile as he got up to help. There were places around that he liked going to to either hunt or fish - or just hike, like Ty said. None of those places were especially close to Point Pleasant though but he didn't mind getting up early for a long drive. The great outdoors were just about the only place where he didn't mind being alone and he hoped going with Ty wouldn't ruin that for him and make them feel lonely too if he ended up needing some time to himself. It had been a comfort when he lost Ty, he didn't think he'd survive losing both but that was super pessimistic thinking and he was trying to stop his mind from going down those unhappy roads. "There's live music at the pier if you want to go out tonight. Would be kinda nice to go to something like that without being a cop."
Once his dishes were in the machine, Ty wiped his hands off on a towel and stepped in closer to Jared. He slipped his arms around him from behind to press a few kisses against that broad upper back of his. “Could be fun,” he murmured, his hands moving to cup Jared’s pecs. “But we could have fun staying in, too.” He grinned faintly and nuzzled Jared’s t-shirt as he squeezed his chest. It would be nice and liberating to be out in public at one of the town’s events and not worry about traffic or breaking up fights or wrangling unruly drunks. They could be the unruly drunks for once if they really wanted to be, but Ty didn’t want to do that to their former colleagues, whoever was out patrolling for the night. But he knew there would be other opportunities too -- it was summer, there would be something happening at the pier every weekend until it got cold again.
Jared grinned contentedly when Ty squeezed him, covering his hands with his own and enjoying the warmth of his body so close to his back. "We always have fun, no matter where we go," he agreed. "Or don't go." So evidently Ty wasn't feeling too cooped up tonight and Jared knew he was kidding himself because if something came up at the pier, he would jump in to help whether he was on duty or not, being a cop was pretty much in his blood. Considering that, staying in sounded like it might be more fun. "You got some ideas for things to do?" he asked teasingly, rubbing at Ty's wrists and forearms as he leaned back against him. "I don't think we've unpacked any of the board games."
A lean from a man Jared’s size was no joke, but Ty could handle his weight well enough -- which wasn’t all of it, of course, but he liked the pressure of what he got. He kissed at the back of Jared’s spine and chuckled as he moved his hands to slip them under the front of Jared’s shirt. All that warm bare skin was delightful against his palms. “I mean, you were pretty into that Friends marathon ... you could kick back and have some laughs while I play with your big, fat cock?” he suggested, his tone light and playful. Ty slid one hand down to give Jared’s crotch a brief squeeze. “Or, y’know ... we could play cards or something. I know I saw a deck in the junk drawer.”
"Is that what you're looking for right now?" Jared asked with a titter seeing as Ty's hand was on his junk and yes, it was probably a terrible joke, but he knew Ty well enough to know he could stomach his lame jokes. He didn't feel like watching Friends now, or anything for that matter, far more interested in getting close to Ty and exploring his body and getting explored in turn. A shrill comedy would just get in the way of that and he'd much rather put on music and really focus on his man. "Could play a little strip poker - or go fish," he mused and enjoyed the warmth pooling in his crotch and stomach at Ty's touches. "I can think of something you can go fish right now actually."
The first joke made him roll his eyes affectionately -- his husband was cheesy as hell sometimes, but Ty loved it in a weird way. He couldn’t wait to hear Jared lobbing corny dad jokes at their kids in the future. He was just built to be a dad, and Ty adored it. His mind didn’t linger on kids though, much more focused on how fucking hot Jared also was. “Oh yeah?” he asked with a smirk as he slipped his hand down the front of Jared’s pants. “Like ... an ace of hearts? I feel like you’ve got one ...” The rules of Go Fish went fuzzy in his head as he cupped Jared’s cock through his underwear, thumb rubbing against it as he felt it get harder against his hand. Ty nibbled on the top of his shoulder, then kissed the side of his neck, breathing in that warm familiar scent. God, he loved him so fucking much.
Ace of hearts was cheesy too but Jared loved it and he couldn't exactly tell Ty to go fish when he was carrying such a giant torch for him. Ace of hearts indeed. "Guess you got it," he murmured and games were fading fast from his mind with the way Ty was touching him, waking his body up more and making him feel loved and desired the way only Ty had really made him feel. "I think if you're winning that means I should be stripping down," he added in a low murmur, gripping Ty's wrist but not with any intention of stopping him, he just wanted to feel the way he moved, the play of tendons under warm skin. The air felt thicker and all he could really focus on was Ty's solid body against his and the growing pressure in his crotch, hot and demanding.
“Mm, I’ll never say no to that,” Ty murmured, smiling briefly against Jared’s skin. His other hand joined the first in the warmth of Jared’s pants, rubbing at his groin and hips and the tops of his thighs to enjoy the feel of all that solid muscle. He was such a well-built man, once Ty really got into touching him, he didn’t want to stop. His own body was waking up, warmth pooling in his lower belly as his boxer briefs gradually got tighter. He nudged his erection against Jared so he could feel how aroused Ty got just by groping him. Fooling around in front of the sink wasn’t the most appealing thing though, so after another moment Ty pulled back and snagged Jared’s hand. “C’mon, I want my winnings in the bedroom.” Ty flashed him a little grin.
"Now I just feel like the spoils of war," Jared said and cocked his brow as he let Ty lead him to the bedroom. "I hope you're happy with your winnings." He tittered, no doubt in his mind that Ty was quite happy with him, it was just a silly little challenging thing to say. He didn't let them get farther than the bedroom doorway before he tugged Ty back to his body so that he could start peeling those pesky clothes off of him. They could walk together the rest of the way to bed, he wanted to touch him now, running his hands underneath his shirt to bask in the warmth of his skin. Their conversation from earlier came to mind and he wished he could let Ty feel just how outlandish the idea of needing someone else was to him; how could he ever get tired of this and how could he ever want someone else? Ty was sex on legs and Jared loved him, the only thing complicated about their relationship so far was circumstances that had nothing to do with them.
“Mm, you are quite a prize,” Ty agreed on their way down the hallway. He was more than happy to be pulled in against Jared once they reached the bedroom, and the feel of those big hands on his skin made him tingle all over. Ty lifted his arms so Jared could take his shirt off, then rose up on his toes to steal a kiss before he moved to do the same with Jared’s shirt. He was definitely ready for some skin to skin contact too. Once their torsos were bare, Ty pulled him in close again and kissed him deeper and with more purpose. His groin had already been feeling warm and pleasantly full, but having Jared’s mouth on his sent blood rushing into his cock. He couldn’t imagine ever wanting anyone else either, but he also couldn’t imagine having a desire to fuck women, so he knew his perspective was a bit different. Ty trusted Jared though -- plus he could feel his husband's desire for him very clearly.
Jared's arousal was mixed with such deep love that he had to take a moment just to squeeze Ty as they kissed and that closeness of his body was something he would never get enough of. He couldn't imagine giving any of this up for anyone else and while he'd had one night stands in the past, this was what really got his blood pumping - desire mixed with deep emotions was far superior to horniness alone and anyone with half a brain could tell how much he loved Ty. He slowly loosened his hold on him to let his hands roam down his back until he was cupping his ass and damn but it always fit so perfectly in his grip. He'd forgotten all about his mild urge to go out to the pier, right now there was nowhere else he wanted to be.
Moments like this, Ty wondered how they ever occupied their time any other way. He supposed there was some necessary amnesia that came on when the blood cooled -- like extreme pain, peaks of pleasure faded in the memory. Everything was vibrantly present at the moment, and Ty felt his stomach clench and flutter at the feel of Jared’s hands on his ass. It was still as exciting as it had been in the early days, and he didn’t foresee that ever fading. He ran his own palms up and down his man’s broad back, enjoying the smoothness of his skin and the curve of muscle underneath it. With a soft grunt in his throat, Ty nipped lightly at Jared’s tongue, then pulled back enough to smile. “You’re not stripped yet,” he murmured, slipping his hands around to undo the front of Jared’s jeans.
"I was a little preoccupied with that sweet mouth of yours," Jared murmured apologetically, his chest and cock swelling when he felt those buttons come undone. "Neither are you," he pointed out and as soon as he was able, he shimmied out of his jeans and toed off his socks then got his hands on Ty again to eagerly start stripping him in turn. He found himself a little impatient as he was unbuttoning his jeans, so he knelt down in front of him and tugged them and his briefs down in one go, revealing that gorgeous cock right in front of his face. He couldn't be accused of not liking blowjobs, that was for sure, his mouth watering at the sight and his own cock twitching with appreciation. "Look at that fat cock," he murmured happily and glanced up at Ty before moving in to lick and nuzzle it.
Ty was happy to be stripped, and that eagerness in Jared was definitely a turn on. He’d intended to be the one on his knees first, but Ty wasn’t going to complain about the change-up. He smiled lazily as he looked down at Jared in front of him, the fingers of one hand automatically moving to stroke through his hair. “It’s happy to see you, too,” he murmured back as his cock jumped against Jared’s mouth. Those soft touches sent tingly electricity straight into his groin, and he felt himself get even harder. Jared’s beard lightly scraped his sensitive skin, and Ty gave a pleasant little twitch. Ty worked his legs slow and easy to work his jeans far enough down to get out of them and nudge them aside.
"Yeah, it loves me as much as I love it," Jared all but purred, sneaking another little glance up at Ty as he took him in his mouth, swirling his tongue around the sensitive head. He loved every part of Ty's body and the fact they were married made him feel like it belonged to him, just like his own body belonged to Ty. It was the perfect union and he'd never thought he could feel this happy again, especially not after losing Ty for so long. Now he was here and he was his and he tasted so good on his tongue, that silky soft skin gliding over his tongue, leaving a slightly salty taste behind. Jared let his hands roam as he slowly bobbed his head, trailing them over Ty's ass and thighs, giving the firm muscles there a little squeeze every now and then, loving the way they went from soft to firm whenever Ty flexed them.
It was difficult to stay relaxed when Jared was filling his gut with so much tingly pleasure, so there were plenty of muscle clenches to feel. Ty couldn’t think straight with Jared’s mouth working its magic on him, so he didn’t have any flirty jokes to add, he could only moan softly and bury both sets of fingers in Jared’s hair. His dark lashes were fluttering, but he was watching as much as he could, drinking in the sight of his rock hard cock disappearing between Jared’s lips over and over. His man knew his body so well by now, he knew every extra-sensitive spot and how much pressure and just the right pace -- and it felt so damn good to just put himself completely in Jared’s hands. And mouth. “Goddamn,” he groaned, letting his head fall back for a moment. “Fuck, baby, you’re so good at that ...”
Jared liked to think he'd gotten better with time even if he also liked to think he'd done a pretty good job his first time giving one. He'd only ever done this with Ty and he'd picked up a few things he knew Ty liked, not to mention the things they'd talked about enjoying. Encouragements like these were a great inspiration too and only added to his pleasure, making him want to do this even more, making him want to make Ty mindless with pleasure. He hummed his own appreciation, trailing one hand around Ty's thigh to cup and stroke his balls. He couldn't help but wonder just how Ty losing his sense of pain had affected his sense of pleasure - if at all. Thankfully he could still feel and it hadn't done anything to ruin their sex life like Jared had been so afraid of when he first found out. It still worried him that he might do something to hurt Ty because neither of them noticed something was off, even if it was just something small like pinching some skin, or pressing down too hard on him. When he was very aroused, sometimes he could forget that for a few minutes and just let go, but it always came back after and he had to stop himself from inspecting Ty from head to toe.
If anything, Ty felt like the lack of pain had improved sex for him. He didn’t think Jared could do any damage to him that wouldn’t show itself in some other way -- extreme pressure, blood, something like that. Maybe that was naive of him, but the last thing he worried about when they were fucking was injury. How could he, when Jared was actively filling him up with incredible pleasure? He already felt mindless and twitchy and helpless in that delicious way, his hips starting to rock a bit with the rhythm of Jared’s head. He didn’t know or care if Jared could give a good blowjob to any other man in the world, he just knew that his husband could play his body like an instrument. After another few minutes of trembly groaning, Ty briefly gripped Jared’s head and pulled back out of his mouth. Things were feeling too good, it was time to switch it up. “Your turn, big man. C’mere,” he purred as he backed up until he could sit on the edge of the bed.
Jared found it hard to choose a favorite thing to do with Ty. He loved sucking his cock, he loved it when Ty sucked his cock, fucking him or getting fucked by him were both equally amazing - how could he pick a favorite? - but he still made a soft disapproving sound when Ty pulled his cock away. He was in no rush to stop, not with those sweet sounds he was coaxing out of his husband, but the urgency in Ty's voice did happy things to his insides too and so he got up and ambled forward until his cock was at level with Ty's face. He leaned down to kiss him first, running his fingers through Ty's hair as he straightened up again, gripping it tightly for a second and wondering what that felt like without any sense of pain. Did it feel good? Did it feel like anything at all? "I love sucking your cock," he said in a low rumble. "I could have kept going for another hour."
Jared’s fingers in his hair felt good, the pressure without the sting -- it was something he might miss at some point when he was in a certain mood, but at the moment it was perfect. He gave a soft hum into the kiss, then chuckled, his hands running slowly up and down Jared’s sides and hips as he stood up straight. “I’m flattered you think I could last an hour,” he murmured back, smirking. “You were about to do me in, another couple minutes.” Ty loosely curled his hand around Jared’s cock to give it a few lazy strokes as he leaned in closer, nuzzling his lips against the head. His man had a beautiful cock, and Ty felt the same sort of sensual greed for him. It didn’t ever feel like pampering Jared when he loved to do it so much. Gazing up the strong length of his husband’s torso, Ty parted his lips to take him into his mouth, gently rubbing his tongue against that velvet skin.
Jared couldn't help the smug grin at Ty's words but it faded into something more relaxed as soon as he felt his tongue on his cock, wet, warm and promising. "I think I could've made you last a little longer," he murmured and watched Ty with half-lidded eyes, a fresh wave of arousal washing over him, soothing and exciting all at once. "It's all about self control, but we both know I don't have much of that when I'm with you." He kept his fingers in Ty's hair, gently rubbing at his head and letting his hair tangle around his fingers. He might not really care one way or another if Ty shaved his beard off, but he wanted him to keep his hair like this for a least a little longer, he loved the texture of his hair and having something to grab onto was a treat.
It was true that Jared probably could’ve edged him for a while, but Ty was happy with this too. The unbearable tension always built up very naturally between them, it didn’t need a lot of coaxing. His mouth was full now, so Ty didn’t give any answer but an amused hum. Neither one of them had much self control when it came to the other, and he thought that was just fine. It was safe to be that way in their relationship, they were balanced, they understood each other. Ty was hooked on that level of intimacy just as much as the way Jared’s thick cock glided against his tongue as he began to slowly bob his head. Ty let his eyes close, his hands gripping Jared’s thighs, and gave a greedy little hum around the hardon in his mouth.
Jared watched him for a while, even as his eyes kept wanting to close, and he sighed contently as he sank into the pleasure of it, gently rubbing Ty's head while careful not to impede or dictate his movements. He could still taste Ty on his tongue and he couldn't help but think of his cock, hard and neglected and out of reach. Not for long though, he'd get his hands on it soon enough. "That feels so good, baby," he groaned as things started ramping up and he could feel his arousal growing. Sometimes this was more than enough, just oral pleasure and then kissing until they wanted to sleep, but tonight he wanted more and he hoped Ty did too.
Feeling the muscle in Jared’s legs get tighter and shake with those fine pleasure tremors was always a delight. Ty could taste the extra salt as his man leaked precum into his mouth, and he moaned as he tongued at the slit once or twice. Just like Jared had said, he felt like he could do this for another hour, leaking thick drops onto the carpet between his knees himself. They were both gluttons to please each other, and drawing those deep sounds out of his husband was almost as good as moaning and squirming himself. Ty sucked and bobbed for another few minutes, then pulled off with a hum and looked up at Jared. He tapped the head of his cock against his cheek a couple of times and grinned faintly. “You wanna fuck me, big man?” he murmured, dipping in to give Jared’s balls a swipe with his tongue.
What a tantalizing question, especially when it came with physical pleasure to add to the spice of it. Jared grinned faintly and hummed his approval, his cock twitching happily at the idea of more. "Do you wanna get fucked?" he drawled, cupping Ty's head with both hands and stroking his hands firmly down the back of his head ending up on his shoulders, momentarily overwhelmed with that urge to squeeze and crush him with all the love he had for him. He urged him to back up, leaning down over him again to taste himself on his tongue. Sometimes this love felt too big, like it couldn't all fit into his body, no matter how large it might be. Sex was the best outlet for it at times like those and he already couldn't wait to get started.
Was there a time when Ty didn’t want Jared to fuck him? There had to be moments, but he couldn’t think of any at the moment. Not with those strong hands on him and that delicious cock in his face. Ty got in one more quick suck of the head, then he was kissing Jared and moving to scoot backward on the bed at the same time. He loved it when they could move together smoothly, like they were in tune enough to anticipate each other’s movements, like it was all a dance. He wrapped his arms around Jared’s thick torso as soon as he was settled, pulling his weight down to feel it press him into the mattress. Ty hooked his legs around the backs of Jared’s thighs to hold onto him with his whole body and just kiss him hungrily for a moment or two.
Jared never worried about crushing Ty, even after he knew he couldn't feel pain. He knew how it felt to have the full weight of Ty on top of him and Ty was every bit as strong and sturdy and he was so he knew it felt good. Not all the time, of course, but when arousal ran high or he was in some other particular mood, the weight felt grounding. He pressed down against Ty, letting go of any restraint he'd been holding onto, kissing him back with satisfied little grunts as he slowly rocked his hips against him. God he couldn't get enough of him, the taste and smell and feel of him were by now as vital to him as air and water and he really had no idea how he'd survived without him. On some kind of autopilot probably, numb to the world and barely himself. Unlike now when he felt so alive and so eager to enjoy every moment to the fullest.
