"I think that sounds like a good start," Toby said, mildly impressed. He hadn't known about the nephew and having a direct connection to someone with inside knowledge made him feel like they were less likely to go in blind. "Once we have better knowledge of the facility and what's happening there, it'll be easier to plan." As much as he wanted to take down AIR, he didn't want to get killed in the process. He was still holding out hope that they weren't torturing kids again, but that was probably a pipe dream. The people surrounding him were evidence that their little group wasn't a one-off instance. Haisley was young, and hadn't been at this facility, which meant this was bigger than just Point Pleasant, but they had to start somewhere. He'd feel safer knowing they weren't stalking his own home town.
There was a bit more talk for a while, but they all more or less agreed that they had their first steps in place -- get Wilkes's nephew somewhere within Mal's telepathy range, mine his brain for information, go from there. It was established that the next gathering should be somewhere else, just so they weren't seen loitering around Overlook when most of them didn't look like they belonged there. It would probably be smart of them not to meet in the same places more than once in a row anyway. Reza volunteered to act as the group secretary, and he fetched a pad of paper from inside to write down everyone's phone numbers to distribute out later. This was going to be one hell of a group chat. The tension seemed to lift a little as they all fell into smaller groups to talk, and the hosts made sure everyone had a fresh drink who wanted one.
