Who: Reza & Shane Where: Boston, hotel When: Sunday night, June 10th Warning: turns NSFW Status: complete
Staying one more night in Boston had been a good idea, Shane had found a contact with some grade-A molly and a mix of other treats that he had taken for a test drive tonight. It was a wonderful high though he didn't remember a whole lot about it in hindsight. He vaguely remembered Reza sitting on his lap, fucking purring words in his ear like some divine cat god. He remembered feeling this intense love for him but it didn't feel scary because he also loved the couch he was sitting on and the music playing around him - and in him - and the way the lights flickered all around them. He remembered not being able to move for a while but not really minding because he was sinking into the couch and everything around him was glowing in the most beautiful way. It had taken a while to come out of it but he ended the night on the dance floor with Reza, still feeling a little bit like he was floating and feeling very happy that he'd bought enough to take some back to Point Pleasant with them. He doubted he'd find this kind of quality stuff in the small town and even if it was possible he didn't have those kinds of connections yet.
They had a few offers for threesomes in that club but neither was still willing to share though the experience had Shane's already overly healthy ego inflated and he was definitely too riled up to wait to fuck Reza so they ended up having a quick fuck in the club's bathroom. It really was the perfect vacation away from their vacation and Shane actually felt ready to go back now. Clubs were amazing but spending the whole weekend partying was starting to remind him why he'd been getting bored with it in the first place.
When they were back at the hotel they stripped down for a shower and even then Shane still felt a little bit dreamy, like the effects of the drugs were still wearing off. For all he knew Reza's skin just did that though, that slight shimmer he seemed to catch from the corner of his eye every now and then might just as well be another one of Reza's magic effects.
Though Reza hadn’t taken as many substances as Shane that night, he’d had enough to thoroughly enjoy himself. One of them had needed to keep a semi-clear head, and he didn’t mind being the guardian for a night. Shane had gotten thoroughly fucked up, but he’d been easy enough to handle, since Reza was high enough himself to not get bored with Shane’s zoning out. Dancing and flirting a little and then fucking in the bathroom had all been delightful, and he was looking forward to climbing into the shower now that they were back at their hotel room.
Once Reza had gotten the water hot enough, he pulled the sliding glass door fully open and gestured for Shane to climb inside. “After you,” he murmured with a little half-smile.
"Such a gentleman," Shane murmured and got in, looking forward to washing the sweat off and getting clean before crawling into their freshly made bed. Again he'd spared no expenses when it came to a place to stay and he hadn't been disappointed so far. He ran his hand down Reza's back when he joined him, then grabbed the soap to start washing. "Did you have fun tonight?" he asked now that he had the wherewithal to actually wonder. Reza had fun the last hour or so, he was sure of that, but everything before that was a little foggy and dreamlike. "Still coming back with me tomorrow and not Chicago?" There was still that part of him that wanted Reza to go home, that ever shrinking sensible part that said he should have cut all ties weeks ago because now it was too damn late.
It was too damn late, and Reza was a little surprised that Shane even asked him that question. “Yeah, I had fun, it was a great night,” he answered the easy question first, leaning one shoulder against the shower wall while he watched Shane soap himself up. “And of course I’m going back with you. I left most of my shit there.” Reza’s lips quirked upward faintly for a moment. He’d only packed what he needed for a weekend, which was way less than what he’d needed to go to Point Pleasant for an undetermined length of time. The real answer was that Shane wasn’t going to shake him off now, Reza was in this with him. He knew Shane didn’t honestly want to part ways, and neither did Reza, so why even entertain the idea?
"Good point," Shane tittered and ducked his head under the water. That was a good reason to go back, he supposed, though it wasn't a great reason to stay. "Not a lot happening though," he murmured. "We could stay here a while longer if we wanted." He did want to go practice some fun things with Diego but as far as AIR went, things felt standstill to him and that urge to simply walk up to the AIR building and burn it down was growing with every day he spent in Point Pleasant. He grabbed the shampoo and stepped aside to let Reza have a go at the water, lightly smacking his ass as he did so. "I think I'm still a little high," he admitted. "Unless you got some magic going."
Reza didn’t want to prolong their little excursion to Boston, even though he’d had fun. He had the feeling that if they did that, they would end up staying longer and longer, and just never go back to see this AIR thing through. Shane was obviously good at avoiding things, and while it wasn’t strictly Reza’s fight, it was a fight he believed in, and he wanted to help. Plus he’d gotten the ball rolling already by talking to Zania Castell, something he hadn’t told Shane yet. Soon, he promised himself as he stepped into the water and got his hair and body wet. Maybe after they’d eaten something and Shane was totally sober. It didn’t seem like a good thing to bring up when he was in an altered state of mind, even if that alteration was largely chill so far. “Nope, that’s all you,” he murmured with a faint smile. “We should go back though. I left my laptop and I’ve got some work to do.”
"And I don't need Jane to slip into my dreams just 'cause she misses me," Shane agreed and besides that, he kind of wanted to go back though he had no idea why. It wasn't something he gave much thought, too preoccupied by how good it felt to run soap over his body. Everything smelled so extra somehow, felt so smooth under his touch. He ran his fingers along Reza's back and grinned lazily before he washed the soap off his own body. "Come join me in bed when you're done," he murmured and kissed Reza's neck. He'd fucked Reza at the club so he knew he needed a little more time to get clean than he did and maybe it was better to leave him to it - if he wasn't going to help. He didn't feel very helpful right now, coming down from his high and itching to stretch out and eat something. "I'll get room service, you want anything?"
He was fine with being left alone in the shower to do the unsexy part of sex -- he needed to get clean especially after walking around the club after their tryst in the bathroom. Reza gave a little hum at the kiss, reaching for the soap himself. “Yeah, just ... whatever you’re getting, get me one too,” he said. He wasn’t hungry enough to have any strong preferences one way or the other, but he did want to eat something. Reza lathered himself up as Shane got out and went away, his thoughts turning to how to tell him about Zania without igniting a fight he didn’t want to have. He still thought he’d done the right thing, and that they would end up needing the witches’ help with defeating AIR, he just wasn’t sure how to present it that way right off the bat. Reza hoped it would help that she already had a connection to Jane.
By the time Reza was done, Shane was stretched out in bed, waiting for their food to come. It shouldn't take long since he hadn't asked for anything cooked, just a lot of fruit and some sandwiches since he had a craving for something fresh. Reza seemed plenty fresh to him too and he lazily stretched one arm toward him, beckoning him closer with a wiggle of his fingers. He'd slipped on some boxers because someone needed to accept the food at the door and he didn't want to traumatize the poor staff with surprise-penis but it was silk and comfortable as hell so he didn't mind not being naked for a while. He'd found some ocean-life documentary on some channel and if nothing else, he liked the blue glow it gave off being one of the few light sources in their room at that moment. "I got us some sparkly water from the minibar," he murmured with a smile. "Figured no more booze tonight."
Reza didn’t bother with any underwear, wanting to feel their crisp sheets on all of his skin. Shane looked like he’d be taking responsibility for answering the door when their food arrived. He couldn’t help but return that lazy grin as he approached, flicking the bathroom light off on his way. Shane looked like a snack himself, all long sprawled limbs and sleepy bedroom eyes. Reza climbed onto the bed with him, stretching out on his side, head propped up on his hand. He draped his thigh over Shane’s and settled his hand on his chest. “Sounds smart,” he murmured back, his fingers tracing little shapes on Shane’s skin. He definitely felt done with getting intoxicated for the night. He just wanted to relax and refuel with his man. “How’re you feeling?”
"So good," Shane drawled and he definitely felt even better now with Reza there. Coming down wasn't usually a great feeling but it was mellow tonight, no sulking or jittery feelings. He'd obviously bought good stuff tonight - though he also knew it had a lot to do with his state of mind and other factors. He shifted his body a bit, settling in closer to Reza and lightly resting his hand on top of his without restricting his movement, the almost tickling little touches felt good. "I used to do drugs a lot more often but never got hooked. Less about escaping now and more just... enhancing a good night, you know?" He licked his lips and stretched his jaw, humming contently. He felt chatty and so he tried to remind himself not to get too talkative. "How are you feeling?" he asked instead, tapping his fingers lightly against the back of Reza's hand.
He hummed some agreeable noise, since that was how he’d always thought of drugs, himself. Reza had played around with some party drugs and he rarely turned down a joint being passed around, but he’d never felt like he had to have them. He knew how one could start to feel shitty on the back end of being high though, so he was glad that Shane was still feeling good. “I’m good,” Reza answered with a soft chuckle. “Lazy and pretty much sober, but still good.” He dipped his head in to press a kiss against Shane’s chest. He felt chill in spite of his worry about the upcoming conversation, but not quite sleepy yet, which was a bit surprising considering the damn good night they’d just come from. “Hungry though,” he murmured, nuzzling Shane’s skin with his nose.
"If you wanted a big meal, you should have said so," Shane said with a little grin, slowly moving onto his side so he could wrap his arm around Reza. "I only ordered some sandwiches and some fruit. Want me to call for something else?" He didn't think it was a big deal, he was paying good money for this room, late night room service was included in that whole package and he was more than willing to bug people to make Reza happy. "I was in the mood for something light and fresh," he added, sneaking a kiss on Reza's chin before adding a cheeky: "A bit like you."
“I didn’t say so because I don’t want a big meal,” Reza informed him, giving a faint chuckle. He wondered if Shane realized how accommodating he sounded, like he wanted to keep Reza happy, no matter what. That was how he wanted to hear it, anyway. Nobody cared about properly feeding someone they didn’t give a shit about. “I can’t sleep on a heavy stomach. Light and fresh is perfect. ... a lot like you,” he added, his eyes crinkling in a little grin. Reza pressed a soft kiss at the corner of Shane’s mouth, then adjusted for a real one. They were allowed a few gross cutesy-couple moments, in the comfort and privacy of their own hotel room late at night. And with Shane’s body pressed against his, Reza definitely felt like a couple.
Shane grinned back at him before snuggling closer, leaning his face in against Reza's neck. "Well, good then. Just perfect, light food for tonight." He definitely liked being told he was perfect, even if he was far from it, and it was nice to just lie there for a bit, enjoying the warmth of Reza's body against his own. When the knock finally came he pulled back and snuck a quick kiss on Reza's lips before getting off the bed and jogging to the door. He thanked the guy, tipped him and then returned to bed with the tray of some delicious looking food that had obviously been prepared with care. Maybe too much care, Shane never really cared about that kind of stuff but it was a nice hotel so they probably had a whole lot of prissy guests. He plopped down next to Reza and balanced the tray on his lap. "Let's eat and watch... What the fuck are those anyway?" He squinted at the TV where weird little sea creatures scuttled across the ocean floor.
Reza got his lower half under the covers when Shane got up to answer the door, and fluffed the pillows up behind his back. He sat up straight when Shane returned, smiling faintly as he settled in and reaching to take the covers off of the food. It was all neat and lovely, and made Reza’s stomach growl a bit. Reza glanced toward the TV and shrugged. “I dunno, looks like some kinda ... squid-thing,” he murmured. Ocean biology wasn’t really his area of expertise, but it was soothing to watch. Once his stomach was full, the deep soothing voice of the narrator would probably put him to sleep pretty fast. He plucked up one of the napkins to spread it out over the sheets between him and the tray, then reached for one of the sandwiches to dig in.
Shane stared at the screen for a moment longer, or until it cut to a different scene of less interesting fish at which point he turned his attention back to the food and Reza. "I have such a love hate relationship with the ocean," he sighed as he picked up a grape and plopped it in his mouth. "It's so fascinating and I like the colors but, fucking water everywhere. But I guess it's like space. I wouldn't wanna go there, it's just dark and has no oxygen, but it's neat to see it on tv." He closed his eyes and breathed in slowly as he chewed and that fruit was everything he'd wanted, sweet and juicy on his tongue. It didn't feel as 'out there' as he'd expected so he supposed he was sobering up and that was probably a good thing, he wanted to be sober by the time he fell asleep.
Sobering up always made Reza hungry, but he’d learned not to stuff himself with the heavy, greasy stuff that most people ate when they drank. It just made the hangover worse. But the club sandwich and fruit that Shane ordered really hit the spot, and Reza just hummed some acknowledgement while he ate and gazed at the TV. He thought the ocean was interesting, but it didn’t captivate him like it did for some people. Space, on the other hand ... but that topic felt too big in Reza’s brain to get into, especially with his mouth full, so he let it go. They fell into quiet eating while they learned about the denizens of the tropical ocean, and soon enough Reza felt more satisfied and solid, leaning back against the pillows to let his food settle. Sleepiness was creeping in along with the weariness in his body, but he wasn’t quite ready to give up consciousness yet. He should probably talk to Shane, he knew that, before they were stuck in a car together for hours -- a setting he couldn’t storm out of. Reza glanced over at his face in the glow of the TV, trying to feel him out in the way he was getting better at all the time.
Shane was feeling mellow but definitely sobering up and he was somewhat preoccupied with thinking about the ocean and its bizarre creatures when he felt Reza looking at him. He rolled his head until he was facing him, a small smile curling his lips as he reached up to brush his knuckles against Reza's chest. There was some food left on the tray and he knew he needed to move it off the bed before they passed out but he wasn't really ready to admit that this might happen soon because much like Reza he wasn't ready for the night to end. So he grabbed one of the remaining fruits and took a little bite, licking his fingers and settling closer to Reza. "You tired?" he asked and while Reza's skin didn't glow quite the same way as it had earlier when Shane's high had exaggerated every little visible thing, he still glowed with the light from the TV and radiated warmth that was nearly tangible. Shane just knew what he was looking at this time so it didn't seem quite as strange.
He probably ought to just say yes and curl up with Shane and sleep. Reza knew he could physically do it, but it might not be the best thing. Launching into this conversation right then might not be the best thing either, but at least Shane looked relaxed and chill, so maybe it was the perfect time. Reza licked his lips and shifted a bit onto his hip to look at Shane with less neck strain. “Yeah ... but I need to tell you something first,” he murmured. “Before we get like, in the car for hours, where you can’t storm out.” Reza’s lips quirked up into a faint smile, though he wasn’t entirely joking. He knew how pissed Shane had been at Jane for telling Reza the truth, and he knew how secretive he was by nature. Reza had been able to sympathize about Jane’s transgression, he just hoped Shane would keep an open mind about the witches in town.
Shane knew damn well that his reaction to bad things was to leave but he didn't exactly like being reminded of the fact. He furrowed his brows, his smile fading a little as he processed what Reza was saying. "Storm out? Should I get dressed for this?" He couldn't exactly storm out here either, he was only wearing boxers and it was the middle of the night. He wasn't sure how to react to this, only that he should probably brace himself for bad news and he'd never been good at that. Neither could he imagine what Reza was about to tell him - confess, maybe? - but even joking about storming out made it seem like it was going to be bad. There was no way he was going to ask Reza to wait though, knowing full well he'd imagine scenarios that would probably be a lot worse than the truth.
It was a hard thing to warn for -- hey, this might really piss you off -- but Reza didn’t want to just drop it on him without giving him a chance to brace himself. His gaze ticked down to Shane’s bare chest and he twitched one of his shoulders. “I don’t think so,” he said, already able to picture Shane angrily tugging on clothes while he yelled at Reza. He really hoped it wouldn’t be that bad. “Hope not, anyway.” He sighed a little and propped himself up on his elbow, his gaze steady on Shane. “Before we left, after you told me everything ... I went to the little street fair and found one of the witches in town I’d been thinking about introducing myself to. I’ve been in her and her brother’s shop a few times now. I told her -- away from prying ears -- but I told her about our situation. I thought maybe she could help us. And she already knew about some of it, she’s got some connection to one of the AIR survivors already, and she knew Jane’s name. So I think it’ll end up being a good thing. Allies, you know?”
The good news was that Shane didn't feel like storming out but Reza was right that this was bad. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath to try to clear his mind and find the right answer to what Reza was telling him. "What is it with you and Jane pouncing on random people and telling them everything," he muttered and when he opened his eyes he let his head fall back against the headboard. "You don't know who in town can be trusted, how'd you decide to talk to this witch? Does she know Jane or does she just know her name?" He tried to remember what the name of the witch Jane had talked about was but she'd told him a lot of things and they all mixed together in his mind now. Vex? Crighton? There was a werewolf and a witch and he'd seen some of their faces months ago in a dream.
Reza inhaled to tell Shane that it wasn’t a random person, but he shut his mouth and exhaled slowly as he listened to the rest. “Jane knows her brother, she was helping him out with some other weird shit going on,” he explained. “I don’t know if Jane and Zan have met, but it was a pretty close connection. I chose her because ... well, the magic in her shop feels ... good, in this way it’s hard to explain. Like it’s not dark. And she just looks like this hippie stoner girl, definitely not like she works in some prison lab. I know that’s not a guarantee of anything, but I’m a good judge of people, and she was genuine.” Reza did his best not to sound defensive, he’d known that Shane wouldn’t approve, but he had solid reasons for what he’d done. He wet his lips. “I did probably rush it though, and I’m sorry for that part, I should’ve talked to you first. I was still pretty rattled, and I wanted to talk to another witch about it. And I think my instinct was good, she already knew about a lot of it.”
"So her brother is one of the dream people," Shane said and that did make this a little less disturbing somehow. "You both just seem to forget a lot of lives are on the line and you know I never thought I'd live long so I can cope with that but now your life is on the line too, you're in it, like you said." He didn't rush the words, nor did he sound very agitated - just tired and a little disappointed. He definitely wanted to shake Jane for telling Reza everything, especially since she had no way of knowing how weirdly serious Shane's relationship had gotten with him. As far as she knew, all he'd told her, was that Reza was just a piece of ass to pass the time for a little while and Shane was pretty sure he'd never gone moony eyed over him around her. And now Reza was doing the same thing and it made him wonder how many of the others were being careless. Definitely not Toby and Neil who were paranoid beyond belief, but maybe Diego and his teenager got chatty with people. Wouldn't that be a riot, if their whole deal got blown up before they even started.
Reza frowned at him a bit. “I didn’t forget,” he said. “I was thinking of those lives when I went to talk to her. And the ones that could be suffering right now. I know it was a risk, but it was a calculated one, I promise.” There had been an impulsive element to it, yes, since he’d done it without consulting Shane first, but it wasn’t like Reza had just picked someone random out of the crowd and crossed his fingers. If they were making comparisons, Jane had acted more rashly than he had, at least Reza had known he was talking to a witch. “The more power on our side, the better, and my people can wield a lot of power.” Reza made himself stop justifying it, starting to nibble on his bottom lip instead as he watched Shane’s face. He’d explained himself, he’d apologized for the shitty part, he didn’t want to run his mouth too much.
Shane didn't want to argue about it and Reza was right, Jane could have done a great deal more damage by telling Reza and it was still a bit of a sore spot so Shane didn't want to get into it. "So what kinda witch is she?" he asked to steer the conversation elsewhere and maybe get some answers to the questions he hadn't quite brought himself to ask yet. "Not that I know how any of that magic stuff really works, but it seems like a psychic thing in a way. You do sounds, so that's your speciality, right?" He was still trying to remember the name of that girl's brother, if it even was the same guy, but he was coming up short for now.
At least this conversation was going better than he’d feared, so far. Asking questions about magic was better than getting angry with him. Reza tilted his head from one side to the other to indicate that Shane was partially right. “Yeah it’s my speciality on one level,” he said. “It’s more like, what element is your magic attuned to the most. Mine is air. Zan’s is fire. So ... she’s kind of like you.” Reza smiled faintly for the moment, and decided against telling Shane that Zan already wanted to meet him. “But yeah, sound was always my pet interest, I guess you could say, so it’s what I’m best at. I can do other types of magic too, air-focused and not. She was impressed with the cone of silence thing I showed you,” he added with a faint chuckle.
"You're just drawn to fire, aren't you," Shane said with an amused smile, quirking a brow at Reza. "And fire likes air." Air was different than sounds and he realized he had no idea about the depth of Reza's powers or their limitations so now his interest was piqued and he wanted to know a lot more. "What other kind of magic can you do?" he asked. "Is it all elemental?" He knew Reza didn't dabble with fire, unless of course he'd been faking that to boost Shane's ego or something but that didn't really seem like his style and Shane's knowledge of witches was too limited for him to use his imagination here.
The smile was good to see, and Reza automatically smiled back. “Guess I am,” he murmured in agreement. It had never been a conscious sort of attraction, but he did seem to be falling in with a lot of fire-aspected people lately, didn’t he? He wasn’t mad at it. He supposed talking about magic was better than Shane being pissed at him, even though Reza got a little embarrassed sometimes at how unaccomplished he was as a witch. He was very good at what he could do, but that list was fairly short compared to others. “Not all of it, no, that’s just the kind that comes more naturally, requires less like, spellwork and preparation,” he explained. “I’m awful at earth magic though, it’s kind of my opposite, I guess. But I know some protective spells, a bit of healing magic to like, get rid of illness or heal a wound faster. I’m not great at it unless it has to do with air, but I dabble around. I can do some simple wards on places. Zan suggested I put one up on the house we’re in, but honestly, all of Overlook is already warded out the ass. I felt it as soon as we arrived.”
Spells didn't sound much like they had something to do with elements, at least not to the uninitiated, and Shane's smile turned a little crooked as he considered it. It was good that their neighborhood was protected, but did that protection extend to them? "Have you ever put a spell on me?" he asked even if Reza would never admit to it if he had so it was pretty pointless asking. And yet he did, possibly exposing his dumb feelings in the process but a spell would explain those feelings in the first place. Did he mind if that was the real reason he was hooked on Reza? He didn't think so, he doubted it was the cause but even if it was so, he was too deep in it now to give a shit and he didn't want to go back to the way things had been before.
Reza scoffed a bit at that question and squinted one eye at Shane. “Of course not,” he said. “For one, it’s highly unethical. For two, spells to influence human behavior are complicated and take a lot of energy and work and I am far too lazy for that shit.” His lips quirked up a bit. He’d been assuming Shane meant a love spell of some kind. He didn’t know that Shane was in love with him, but Reza knew there was definitely something real between them. And the ‘real’ part was important to him. Reza didn’t understand how anybody could end up satisfied in a relationship they’d had to fabricate with magic. He reached over to tangle his fingers with Shane’s, the gesture a bit tentative. “I’ll never do magic on you without your permission,” he murmured.
Shane was satisfied with that answer and he believed Reza was telling the truth which was more than he'd really expected out of his question. He squeezed his fingers gently and pulled Reza's hand closer to his chest. "Well if I end up in a coma and you're not sure if you have my consent to snap me out of it, let me tell you right here and now - you do." He didn't know if Reza had that kind of power and he wasn't exactly expecting to fall into a coma but if Reza needed to use magic on him to help him then why would he refuse? He also wondered - not for the first time - if Reza could put a spell on someone without realizing it. He was so addictive, everything about him was magic in a way so it wasn't hard to conceptualize.
It was probably stupid, but the touching made Reza feel a lot better about having this talk. He was glad to have it off his chest and glad that Shane didn’t freak out. Maybe his timing had been good, or it was just Shane’s fatalism showing itself, Reza wasn’t sure. But Shane wasn’t holding it against him, so he would take it. “I’ll keep that in mind,” he murmured with a little smirk. He didn’t currently have a clue how to bring someone out of a coma, but if Shane were to ever fall into one, he would bust his ass to learn how. Reza used his other hand to pick up the food tray between them and he carefully moved it to his other side, then scooted in closer to Shane. “I can’t imagine a scenario where I would need you to set me on fire, but ... if it comes up, go for it.”
"Yeah, I'd rather not," Shane replied with a little grimace because he couldn't imagine any scenario where it wouldn't harm Reza. "I'll keep fire away from you if we get stuck in a burning building or something. Can't control the falling debris though so watch your head." There were a lot of things fire did that Shane had no control over so he knew better than to be careless about those things; not running into burning buildings was a good start, even if sometimes he felt the pull pretty intensely. "Can you put out fire?" he asked curiously. "You said you could play with more elements than just air."
Reza huffed a little laugh and nodded -- he could see how having a fireproof boyfriend around could come in handy in an emergency, but he wasn’t going to be reckless. He settled in so that their bodies were touching at the hip and thigh, though he didn’t lounge on him quite yet. The question made him smile a bit. “Takes more effort, but yeah, I can, a bit. But I can put out fire with just air,” Reza murmured. He gave their linked fingers a gentle shake and then let Shane’s hand go. “Make a little flame, I’ll show you.” Reza didn’t think he would be able to put out a house fire or even a big enough bonfire without a ton of effort, but he could definitely do something small just to show off a bit.
That made sense to Shane since fire didn't burn without air but he was happy to see a demonstration so he cupped his hand and started up a palm sized flame. Why go small when something a little bigger was not as easy to extinguish with breath alone. It wouldn't live long without getting fed anyway so all Shane needed to do was close his hand and not let the fire travel; just in case Reza couldn't do what he said he could. Shane didn't doubt him for a second though, glancing at him with a little smile, ready to see what he was capable of.
He watched with fascination as Shane called up a flame in his hand -- it wasn’t the first time Reza had seen him do that, but the novelty hadn’t worn off yet. He’d hung around some fire witches who liked to show off, but it was somehow completely different to know that Shane wasn’t using magic to do it. It was just him. “So cool,” Reza murmured with a lopsided little grin. He lifted his own hand and held it a few inches away from Shane’s flame. He could’ve blown it out with a puff of air, but it seemed neater to suck all the oxygen away from it, so that was what he concentrated on doing, starving the flame for several seconds until it died out.
Shane considered fighting it when the fire started fading and there was something a little jarring about someone being able to put out his fire just like that so there was a natural urge to find out just what Reza's limit was and if he was stronger than Shane. Metaphorical arm wrestling with Reza should probably wait until they were somewhere where they were less at risk of burning everything down around them though so he resisted and let it go. "That could come in handy," he said softly. "How big can you go?" He rubbed his hands together and relaxed back against the pillows, watching Reza curiously.
Reza didn’t feel any sense of smugness, putting out Shane’s fire. He knew that Shane could likely start a blaze in an instant that he wouldn’t be able to put out, so there was no superiority in it. It was just a fun party trick. Reza settled back as well and gave a small shrug. “I’ve never really put it to the test, but I know I can put out, like ... a campfire. I don’t think I could stop a burning building. A skilled water witch would be much better for something like that -- it’s difficult for me to change the composition of the open air on that big of a scale, and I can’t create a void that big with no container. But someone who could conjure water ... like Zania’s brother ...” Reza trailed off and gave Shane a look that was pointed but also slightly amused. He’d felt the brother’s magic when he’d been in the spice shop, so he knew the guy was water, and Zan was fire, which he found kind of interesting. “I’ve really only used it as a way to snuff out candles.”
"You know we're gonna have to test that," Shane said with a little grin because thinking about experimenting like he planned to with Diego was far better than thinking about what Reza could do with that kind of magic to hurt others. Sucking the air out of the room, or out of someone's lungs... Shane didn't want to think of Reza doing something like that but he had to admit even that could come in handy at some point and it was good, in a way, to know that Reza could defend himself in a multitude of ways. "I'm going to be experimenting with someone who can control gravity so I'll have a good place to play with fire soon, I wanna see what you can do."
The idea of testing his power against Shane’s both worried him and sounded like an assload of fun, but it was the second part that really got Reza’s attention. Both brows shot up as he stared at Shane. “Someone who can control gravity?” he echoed. “That’s ... one of the people you and Jane know? Who escaped with you?” Reza had heard of some very advanced witches who could fly, but he’d never heard of someone having control over gravity, that sounded intense. It dawned on Reza that he was going to get to meet these people, probably soon, and it was kind of exciting.
It was incredibly cool and Shane laughed giddily at Reza's obvious excitement, nodding slowly in reply to his questions. He didn't really feel like going into the details of there being other facilities around so he let that part go for now. "Yeah, he's cool too. I think you'll like him. He's a gay daddy." He wagged his brows but he didn't feel like teasing Reza or riling up some unwarranted jealousy in him so he laughed again and added, "He and his boyfriend kind of adopted a teenage girl, so literally a daddy. I haven't met his boyfriend yet but we're planning on all meeting up soon so he might bring him. I might throw a party, let us all meet up without it being a whole Thing, you know? Plus, you know I like parties." He didn't normally like hosting them though, it was so much nicer to not have any responsibilities, but out of this ragtag resistance crew, he had the biggest place.
It was kind of funny that Shane had kept all this such a secret from him until Jane had gotten a hold of Reza, and now Shane wanted to throw a party at their shared house for everyone. That was just like him, in a way -- the plan got fucked up, so might as well all have a good time. Reza huffed an amused sound out of his nose and nodded. “A party with all of them sounds awesome,” he said. “I definitely wanna meet some gay daddies who can fuck around with gravity.” He knew only one of them could, or at least that was what Reza was assuming, but whatever, he could do some eyebrow waggling of his own. “I wonder if they fuck in zero Gs, that’s gotta be fun. I always wanted to have weightless sex. What-all can the rest of them do? I know about Jane, but you haven’t told me anything about the others.”
Shane smirked at the thought of sex in zero-g. It was probably more trouble than it was worth but it was fun to think he might potentially get to try it if Diego was down and Reza didn't mind an audience. Hell, Diego might not even need to be in the same room if he focused on a large area. It was a fun thought to entertain at least and he was all ready to share it with Reza when he changed the topic. Damn. "Uhm, there's a couple of psychics," he muttered. "Different kinds, one literally reads your mind, the other is more like... Intuition and luck. One has lightning hands and he's the most paranoid and timid guy I've ever met so I don't know how we're going to get him to actually use that. One of them is like a sin-eater. She can do something with like... lust and gluttony and the more hyped up people around her get, the less she needs to actually eat. It's pretty cool. Not sure what the weird guy who went missing could do, I've just seen his face and there's a girl I haven't met yet who can open other worlds with her hands." He frowned as he thought about it. "I think that's everyone, at least everyone I know. Oh and werewolves are real, so we have to be careful on full moons." He gave Reza a look that said yes, I know it's a lot and it was just so much nicer to think about the fun things they could do with their gifts instead of how they were going to use them tactically.
It was a lot, and Reza’s expression reflected that. Telepaths and someone with incredible intuition were one thing, hell, even the lightning hands weren’t too far afield from what he might have guessed could exist. But sin eating? Gravity manipulation? And Shane just skimmed right over the reference to other worlds and dove straight into werewolves. If Reza didn’t know better, he would’ve thought Shane was totally delusional. He stared at him for a moment, then blew some air out from between his lips and shook his head vaguely, hands coming up to rub at his face. Reza had asked, yeah, but damn. “I don’t even know where to start, ya Allah,” he muttered. His brain was suddenly too tired for this conversation, even though it was sort of spinning at the same time. Other worlds? Fuck. “And here I was thinking I got to blow your mind with magic being real.” He chuckled a bit and shot a smirk at Shane.
"I don't even know what that means," Shane replied with a huff of his own. "Other planets? Other dimensions? It sounds weird and complicated. Not to mention dangerous. Then again everything seems to be fucking dangerous in Point Pleasant. Jane had a thing where she helped a group of people with their shared dreams, it's connected to a crazy fog event where real monsters showed up. It kinda lines up with her theory that AIR is fucking with the whole town now, that's it's just one big experiment.” He gave Reza a tired, crooked smile. "I was crazy to bring you with me. I didn't know how bad it was, I figured it'd be safe until we were ready to make a move. You know that, right?"
Reza muttered a ‘what the fuck’ under his breath at the news of fog monsters. He didn’t even know where to begin trying to think about that. Once again a wave of surreality washed over him, that sense that he’d somehow gotten swept up into the plot of a movie. A very weird and convoluted one. He focused on the question instead for a moment, giving Shane a weary sort of smile back. “Yeah, I know,” he murmured. Reza turned more onto his side and pressed up against Shane, following his instinct to get closer in the face of a bunch of big, strange news. “I’m not going to argue that it wasn’t crazy though. And I was crazy to say yes, but I’m still glad I did. This all might like ... break my brain, but sounds like it’ll be a fun ride.” Reza chuckled faintly, slipping his arm around Shane’s warm middle.
For a brief, horrible moment Shane wondered if it would be fun or if it would get Reza killed. He wouldn't be able to live with that, involving him and losing him as a result. He knew it was pointless trying to send him away now so he pushed those thoughts away as quick as he could and shifted a bit to face Reza. "You're a fun ride," he murmured, a childish retort turned very truthful and he grinned at Reza as he said it, leaning in to steal a kiss. "Just don't get hurt in the middle of all this bullshit, deal? If it gets too dicey, you get the hell out of dodge." He rubbed their noses together before pulling back to look at Reza, hoping what he was saying actually got through to him.
He snickered faintly against Shane’s lips, then met his eyes again, his smile fading out. The words were cheesy cliches, but Reza understood the intent. Shane didn’t want him to get hurt or die in all this, and Reza didn’t want that to happen either. “I’m very interested in self-preservation, I promise,” he murmured back. “Even if it doesn’t seem like it sometimes.” He shifted his hand up to lightly run his fingers over the stubble on Shane’s jaw, thumb tracing over the curve of his bottom lip. “I won’t do anything stupid. But I’m in it with you because I want to be, okay? You’ve given me a million outs, but I’m choosing this, and you. I want you to remember that if something bad does happen. Swear you will.” He wasn’t eager to die, but Reza knew that was out of his control, and the worst thing he could think of was Shane surviving only to blame himself and self-destruct.
It was very nearly annoying how easily Reza got under his skin. And you echoed in Shane's mind for a moment and it was such a strange thing to have someone choosing him - choosing to fight for him and not fucking off when things got too scary. He huffed quietly and gave Reza a grimace of a smile. "I could still knock you out and kidnap you back to Chicago," he joked and rolled his eyes. "But I guess you'd just keep on coming back like that damn Australian weird weapon thing whatever the fuck it's called." He made a little throwing gesture and frowned, shaking his head. "You're a pain in the ass." He would hate himself if Reza died, he'd probably be too much of a coward to go tell his family what had happened to him and that would make him hate himself even more. The worst part was, he'd been so resigned to possibly dying but Reza was complicating that too.
“A boomerang?” Reza offered with an amused huff. He knew Shane well enough by now to hear ‘you’re a pain in the ass’ for what it really meant, and it made him feel kind of warm inside. I love you too, idiot, he very nearly said, but held it back. He’d probably put Shane off balance enough for the moment. “I am a pain in the ass, and you’re not getting rid of me, so. Get used to the idea.” It was said with a little smile, and Reza leaned in closer to press a kiss against Shane’s lips. There were still ways Shane could get rid of him for real, he knew that, but he got the sense that Shane wasn’t used to anyone sticking by him -- likely because he never let anyone get that close in the first place -- and Reza wanted to be the one to break that pattern. The whole situation was dangerous but fascinating, and he couldn't imagine going back to Chicago now alone and trying to get back to his life. This was his life now. They could figure out the future together once it was all over.
"A fucking boomerang," Shane muttered quietly while Reza spoke but then Reza was closer and he closed his eyes at the kiss, reaching up to cup the back of his neck. He'd be surprised if Reza remembered everything he'd told him as he'd pretty much info-dumped on him without any names or context, but he supposed they could sit down together and really go over everything Reza needed to know if he was really in it for the long haul. That wasn't happening tonight and Shane was very aware that he didn't even have all the information available to him. Jane had told him this and that, he'd failed to ask follow-up questions on some of the things she'd told him and others had been confusing but he did know most of the people involved. "Be careful moving forward," he murmured. "When we get back. We don't know who works for them, we don't know who's related to people who work for them. No more telling people about us unless you're absolutely sure, okay?" He hadn't exactly been careful either, but he didn't expect anyone to know who he was or why he was there, unless they were watching Jane, Neil and Toby already.
That was a reasonable enough request, Reza thought. There was a lot he didn’t know. Plus he’d already reached out and made the connection he’d wanted to, with a witch, and Zania was knowledgeable and already had connections to the whole thing, so he felt like he’d picked the right person to talk to. It was easy enough to promise not to talk to anyone else. “Okay,” he murmured softly back, lightly nuzzling his nose to Shane’s. “I promise.” There were a million things to ask and learn about, and he had probably missed some of what Shane had told him, but there would be time to rehash all of it, he felt sure. Get the others’ input too, since it sounded like Shane was going to introduce him around finally. Reza slipped his arm around him and pressed in closer.
"God, I wish it was this easy to tell Jane to be careful," Shane sighed with a little grin, shaking his head. "That girl is reckless." He wasn't mad at her anymore, and he'd had his little payback, but if Jane was this willing to spill all his secrets to someone he'd told her was nobody, it was hard to imagine she wasn't doing that with more people. Shane hated that, not just for the safety issues but also because having his own personal demons flaunted like that made him feel ill at ease. He just had to hope she really believed Reza was the love of his life or whatever and that she'd only told him because of that. Crazy bitch. "I'll have to meet that Zan person. See what she can do with fire," he murmured, preferring to focus on that than thinking about people whispering about him around town. "And now I'm gonna stop talking about that fucking town. We're in Boston." He kissed Reza again, then took a moment just to look at him. "You wanna do anything fun on our last day?"
Reza could only speculate on why Jane had approached him, whether it was some way to fuck with Shane or some strange moral obligation or what. He was glad to know the truth though, and he was fairly sure Shane would have taken a long time to get there on his own. Maybe more time than they would end up having before some action had to be taken. What if he’d just disappeared one day while Reza was still clueless? No, it was better to know. Especially considering how strong his feelings were getting for the other man. “I only talked to her for a little while, but I already think you guys will get along,” Reza murmured with a little smirk before he returned that kiss. The question made him huff a little and he quirked a brow. “There are things more fun than this? Like you wanna go to the art museum with me or something?” Reza grinned.
Shane squinted at him with a mildly perturbed expression. "No," he mumbled, as if art museums were an affront to him - or maybe more fun than this was just that inconceivable. "Just a nice lunch somewhere, we could go get haircuts, we're both long overdue." He reached up to ruffle Reza's hair and couldn't help but wonder how many people got to see him like this, relaxed with no products in his hair, all fluff and bedroom eyes. It stirred something deep inside him, something dumb and a little painful. "I don't know if there are any good hair salons in Point Pleasant, Not sure I wanna risk it." Neither of those things were exactly fun, but he did enjoy a fresh haircut and they could go shopping too, if Reza wanted. Shane did love shopping.
He laughed softly and allowed himself to be ruffled, reaching up to rub at where his side fade was becoming un-faded pretty fast. Reza remembered what Zan had said about her boyfriend’s barber shop, but he was tired of talking about other people, so he didn’t suggest it to Shane. Besides, who knew if the guy was even good or not. “That does sound nice,” he murmured, half-smiling. “We can hit up a few shops, stretch our legs some downtown.” Not that they really needed to buy more stuff, as it was Reza was going to need two additional suitcases to get back to Chicago, but whatever. Even just window shopping could be fun. “I definitely want a nice slow fuck in the morning,” he murmured, those bedroom eyes drifting over Shane’s face.
"That I can do," Shane replied with an easy smile. "If I wake up before you, do you want me to wake you up like that?" He knew that could be insanely hot, waking up to sex, it was just a matter of discussing it first and making sure it wasn't going to freak anyone out. He liked the thought of Reza waking up moaning but he was also well aware that this might remain a fantasy only. "I could slip right on inside you while you're still sleeping," he murmured, shifting closer and leaning down to kiss Reza's shoulder. "Get your dick wide awake before your brain gets there. Think you'd like that?" Reza wasn't a heavy sleeper so it might be completely unrealistic to think he'd even get that far, but Shane liked challenges so even that could be fun.
Reza had never been awakened with sex before by anyone, but just hearing Shane describe it was waking his dick up at that very moment, so his body was obviously into the idea. He turned his head to nuzzle Shane at that soft kiss, breathing in the scent of his hair. “Think I’d love that,” he murmured. He wasn’t sure he would stay asleep through the repositioning and prep, but even the idea of waking up to Shane’s fingers pressing inside of him was hot at the moment. “My dick stays wide awake around you, I swear,” he added with a soft huff, one of his hands slipping down to give his erection a gentle squeeze. If he woke up before Shane did, maybe he could get things started with sucking him, see how far into a blowjob he could get before Shane fully woke up.
"Not much of a challenge then," Shane said with a little titter but he liked hearing that, though it wasn't exactly a surprise. They couldn't keep their hands off each other and he hadn't even wanted to share so it was safe to say the feeling was mutual. He pulled away for long enough to wiggle out of his boxers since they were all settled, done eating and planning some sexy fun for as soon as they woke up, underwear would just get in the way. "I'll race you," he teased as he got close to Reza again, sneaking little kisses along his jaw.
He tilted his head to peek under the moving sheets as Shane stripped down, still feeling turned on in that lazy sort of way. “Race me to the morning?” Reza questioned with a little titter, turning to press into Shane as they settled in together again. His body was sleepy but lowkey horny too, even though they’d had sex only a few hours ago, but he supposed that was a good mood to fall asleep in if there was going to be sex in the morning. Reza dipped his head to find Shane’s mouth with his own for more of those little kisses.
"Race you-" Shane started, trailing off as he thought of a good way to put it and was nicely distracted by Reza's kisses. "Whoever wakes up first, starts something, yeah?" he said then, smiling against Reza's lips before kissing him again. He felt similar to Reza now, kind of horny but in that sleepy way where falling asleep while jerking off was really nice - if he was alone. "So, I'm racing you again. I'm gonna wake up first and see how far I get before you wake up." He might just forget all about this little competition when he slept but in the moment it made for an fun idea and it was nice to know Reza was into that, for future references.
It appealed to Reza’s competitive side in a silly way and he snickered softly. “You’re on,” he murmured. “And no staying up all night to cheat. Doesn’t count as morning until the sun’s up.” He gave Shane a crooked little grin, sliding his hand down to grope him just a bit. Reza pressed another kiss to his lips, then pulled away and rolled over onto his other side, backing up into Shane. If they were going to sleep, he wanted to be spooned so he could feel Shane’s cock against his ass while he dozed off. “Get the light, babe?” he said, his tone a little cheeky.
Shane patted Reza's hip and the way he backed into him was giving him more ideas that he wouldn't act on until after he slept. He very nearly pointed out that it wasn't long until morning but he had no desire to stay awake, much preferring to feel fresh and alert during their outing the next day. Besides, that would make it something other than wake-up sex so why ruin that? He snorted at being called babe, but reached back to turn off the lamp and then fumbled around for the remote to turn the TV off. He pressed in close to Reza as darkness blanketed them and slipped his arm around him, listening to his slow, steady breathing and the hum of their mini fridge. He'd always liked having someone in his bed, another sleeping body next to his was always comforting to him and so far he'd found it amusing to see how different people behaved differently in their sleep. Reza was one of those people who didn't mind falling asleep with another body wound around him, at least he didn't complain about that or when Shane moved their bed or asked to change bedrooms. He'd been nothing but accommodating and Shane was starting to find it impossible to imagine sleeping without him.
For a little while, Reza thought the full, warm feeling in his cock would keep him awake indefinitely, but it was eventually absorbed by drowsiness. It had been a long, good night, and his body needed to rest. The solid heat of Shane’s body pressed against his back was soothing too, and soon enough they were breathing deeply together. Reza had adapted to sleeping with Shane more quickly than any other person he’d ever spent the night with regularly -- which wasn’t a long list, granted, but it felt significant. There was something safe and right about being in his arms, and Reza slept peacefully through the night, never straying far from the warmth of Shane’s body.
Shane's need for changes to his surroundings had faded somewhat lately because waking up with Reza right there was reminder enough that he wasn't locked away somewhere. Nobody had ever shared his bed at the facility so that soothing sound of breathing and the warmth of another body seemed to ease Shane back to consciousness better than anything else could. His mind was blank for the first few seconds as he woke up but he slowly started making sense of where and who he was. He'd ended up on his back, one leg still caught between Reza's but the rest of him mostly starfishing. He let his head roll to the side to look at the back of Reza's head and the intense fluff he had going on - yes, it was time for a haircut for both of them - and then he remembered the race. I win he mouthed, gingerly rolling onto his side again and moving up close to Reza. He pressed his face against his shoulder, breathing in his scent as he slipped his arm around him, very carefully moving his hand to Reza's cock to feel if he was hard and if not, do something about it.
Reza’s schedule had included sleeping in late for a long time, considering his profession, and even though it had gotten all out of whack on this trip with Shane, he still wasn’t a very early riser by nature. Especially not with a long partying night right behind him. He wasn’t twenty anymore, even if he still looked like it. He’d adapted so much to sleeping with Shane that the movement didn’t wake him, nor did the touching. He was still dreaming deep, and his cock was nice and relaxed, but far from hard.
Shane had no clue what time it was. The hotel room came with very good curtains and his phone and the small desk clock were behind him and it seemed too much of a hassle to go look. For all he knew he might have only slept for an hour already and waking Reza up was entirely unfair, but he felt wide awake and like he'd slept for a while and they had this room another night - mostly because he didn't want to check out early. He very gently stroked Reza's cock, listening for any changes in his breathing, paying close attention to any movement he might make. So far he seemed to be asleep, or he was faking it and Shane was honestly good with both. He had his permission to do this, that was enough. He pressed his lips against Reza's skin, smiling as he felt his cock slowly waking up under his touch, unlike Reza who seemed blissfully away for the time being. Shane pulled back, oh so careful not to wake him as he patted around for the bottle of lube, then pressed his face in against Reza's shoulder again as he started stroking himself with slicked up fingers. He was already hard, not fully but getting there, the thought of fucking Reza already stirring his cock awake long before he touched it. In part he wanted to whisper something to him, see if he'd wake up, but that's not what he said he would do, so he didn't. Instead he kissed his shoulder again, slow and gentle, trying not to rouse him too fast. Reza really was in a perfect position for this, already on his side with Shane's leg already between his thighs so it didn't take too much jostling to start rubbing against him and pushing inside, just the tip.
There were vague tuggings at Reza’s consciousness as his body woke up more, his vague dreams shifting into something a bit sexier as his cock got hard in real life. Everything was warm and comfortable and sensual, and as he slowly started to wake up, he realized those were lips he was feeling against his shoulder. A moment later Reza felt Shane move behind him and then came the delicious teasing feeling of something warm and solid and slick rubbing against his ass. His eyes stayed closed, but he drew in a deeper breath and shifted his hips just a bit to be more accommodating. Reza was only half aware of what was happening, still shaking off the bonds of sleep, but it felt good and he wanted more of it, he knew that much.
Fully conscious or not, Shane recognized the subtle invitation for what it was and that Reza was at least waking up if he wasn't awake already. "Morning," he murmured quietly against his skin and pushed in a little deeper, shifting his weight to get a better angle and to press his chest closer to Reza's back. He still moved slowly, well aware that this was dicey territory and that Reza might wake up fully and change his mind though at this point it didn't feel at all likely. Moving his hand back to his cock told him as much too, it felt fuller in his grip than it had earlier and he smiled as he started lightly stroking it with slick fingers.
The way Shane pushed his cock deeper made Reza’s breath catch, a spike of tingly pleasure running through him. They’d had sex the night before at the club, so it didn’t hurt at all, it just made him want more. That growing desire woke him up more than the greeting. Reza just hummed some sort of answer, the part of his brain with a vocabulary taking its time coming around. That was fine with him, he didn’t feel like talking anyway. He just wanted to enjoy the tickle-pleasure of Shane’s fingers against his cock and the sweet pressure inside of him. To communicate that he was conscious and still on board with this, Reza ran his hand down Shane’s arm to encourage him as his cock grew harder under the attention.
His body was communicating plenty already, but Shane still felt pleased with that conscious movement, a lazy grin curling his lips as he nuzzled Reza's shoulder and then stretched out against him a little, trailing little kisses up to his neck. It didn't feel right to talk yet, their bodies were already communicating enough in their own ways, every subtle move loud and clear to Shane. Reza's body was so warm from sleep and he took Shane's cock so well, opening up to him and moving against him until Shane was fully inside him, pressed flush against him. Sometimes he just wanted to stay like this forever, as unrealistic as that was. The air in his lungs felt thicker now, his body felt more restless and he couldn't keep himself from grinding his hips against Reza, enjoying the tightness around his cock and the fullness in his balls.
That full sensation was so good and natural-feeling, and Reza subtly pressed back against the warmth of Shane’s body behind him. He was already intensely glad he’d said yes to this the night before -- it was definitely a wonderful way to wake up. Reza rocked his hips slightly to push back against Shane’s hips, pulling his cock in as deep as it could go. He didn’t want to rush through this first slow and lazy part, but he could already feel a hunger growing in him for more. The way Shane filled and covered his back felt warmly possessive, and he liked that Shane wanted to help himself to Reza’s body like this. He let out a couple of low moans, his eyes still closed and body still mostly relaxed.
This wasn't something Shane got to do very often, this sleepy sort of half-conscious sex, and it wasn't necessarily something he wanted to do all the time but it was perfect this morning, just like Reza. Those quiet moans heightened the pleasure, despite there being no magic there to amp up the sound, it was just Reza, hot against and around him and Shane was getting lost again in the gentle rhythm he was starting up. In part he wanted to keep doing just this but his body wanted more friction and speed soon. "How are you feeling?" he asked cheekily in a slightly sleep raspy voice, nibbling on Reza's shoulder as he pulled out to thrust in just a little bit harder.
The question pulled Reza out of his hazy-sleepy state a bit and his eyes opened, but they closed a second later with that harder thrust. He grunted softly, his body giving a brief clench around Shane’s cock. Reza didn’t want to talk, he just wanted to exist and be taken and float along on the pleasure like he was having the best wet dream, but he supposed checking in was just a good top thing to do, since this kind of sex was new to them. “So good,” he whispered, his hand moving to give Shane’s forearm a gentle squeeze. Shane’s fingers around his cock had teased some precum out of him, and everything felt so damn good, but he was far from coming, which was good with him. They had as much time as they wanted to work each other up into a desperate frenzy, for now this lazy pace was perfect.
Shane wasn't the most perceptive person when it came to other people's feelings but the way Reza whispered those words, like he barely had the energy to speak them, was pretty telling for the mood so he grinned faintly against his neck and kept the rest of his words for himself. Instead he kept fucking him slowly, tuning in on the way Reza's breath caught inbetween those quiet little moans. It was almost dreamlike and Shane didn't think he'd ever fucked anyone quite like this, almost like he could fall asleep and wake up and they'd still be moving like this, it all came so naturally.
Without anything making him think real thoughts, it was easy for Reza to slip back into his half-daze, all of his focus on the way Shane was moving behind and inside of him. It was a good angle, the head of Shane’s cock felt almost like a massage against his prostate, pushing more pleasure through him with every gentle thrust. Fuck, couldn’t they wake up like this every day? It was like that for a while, the two of them basking in lazy ecstasy, but eventually the tension started to ramp up inside Reza. His hips started to move more with Shane’s, pushing back against those slow thrusts as his body began to beg for more. Breathing heavier now, Reza reached back to run his fingers through Shane’s hair and hold onto the back of his neck, wanting him even closer.
