Logan and Bash
"Yeah, me too. I'm not going to hold my breath about things staying normal, but it feels pretty good right now." Mostly because Jasper was back. Logan had a few friends, mostly from work, but it was different having his best friend back. Speaking of Jasper... Logan glanced around the room but didn't see his friend, or Jules, so he figured they were still off with Ethan, or maybe finding some privacy. "Shoot me a text sometime and we'll hang out," Logan suggested. "Plenty to do this summer."
Bash doubted things would stay normal, but he liked to hope. They could all use a little reprieve. He’d learned over the past year that things just weren’t normal in Point Pleasant, but the longer they could go between episodes, the easier it was to make it through the next. “For sure, man,” he smiled, noting the way that Logan glanced around the room. He seemed ready to move on, so Bash wasn’t going to hold him back. “I’ll catch you later. Say hi to Jules for me if you see her.”
They had all lived in Point Pleasant long enough to know that normal was actually abnormal, so it couldn't last forever. "Yeah, I will. She's around here somewhere." He smiled at Bash before lifting his cup in a quick salute and heading off into the bodies of both familiar and unfamiliar faces.
