Re: Sebastian and Jules
"I don't know how you do it," Sebastian said with a little laugh. "My parents would flip the fuck out if they caught me throwing a party, especially one like this. Best I can do are little ones, like twenty people max." Which he'd only done a handful of times and always in the summer, when they could make use of the pool. It was so much easier to clean up when people stuck outside or in the basement. Though, really, he was fine with other people throwing them. So long as he was invited, he'd chip in for whatever goodies they needed.
"The difference between my parents and your parents is my parents don't care," Jules said, the weed making her feel giggly and kind of horny. She wondered where Jasper went off to. "It's a lot easier when they're out of town for the weekend. You just gotta make sure people behave and don't break shit. Or at least don't break shit that your mom will notice is broken, or gone. I mean, at least if you're having a party at your house they don't have to worry about you getting hurt somewhere else, or drinking somewhere else, right?"
"True," Sebastian snickered. "That's why they like 'em around here. 'Cause I can just walk home whenever." Except tonight. He had a curfew for the first time in forever, but it was hard to keep remembering that in his current state. It didn't bother him as much as it had when he was sober, but considering he'd gotten high and laid in the time he was there he didn't really have a lot to complain about. "Come on," he said as he slowly climbed off the bed. "If we lay around here too long, I might pass out and I don't wanna be here when Jasper comes looking for you."
Moving felt like such a bad idea. She was so comfortable where she was. But Jules sighed and started to scoot off the bed. "He wouldn't care," Jules assured Bash. "I mean, you're gay and like... he doesn't get jealous. I get jealous. But he doesn't. So..." Jules reached out to grab Sebastian's arm once she was on her feet. Maybe she just needed another drink to get a second wind of energy! Then she could go find Jasper and drag him into an empty room. "I need another drink! Let's go do that."
"I don't know if I get jealous. I haven't really been put in that position," Sebastian said thoughtfully. "Mostly, I was thinking you might want your bed. Without me in it. Unless you're both serious exhib-exhibitionists," he laughed, stumbling over the word. That would be so weird. Hot, but weird. Like porn, up close and personal. And not something he needed on his mind right now. Because he might be gay, but he could see the appeal. "Yes! Another drink!" he said, holding on to her arm as she held onto his. It was probably a bad idea, but sometimes those were the most fun.
"Oh." Jules stared at him dumbly before she began to laugh. "Yeah, I guess that makes more sense. I don't think we're exhibitionists?" How she managed to get that word out without stumbling was a miracle to her. "I mean, we used to do it in his car all summer, 'cause we didn't have anywhere else to go unless mom was gone. Maybe knowing someone might have seen us was part of the fun? But I don't know. Jasper might be into it depending on who is watching." She snorted loudly, hearing the music getting louder now as they got to the stairs. "Okay, don't let me fall, 'cause these stairs can break your neck if you trip. You'll like...die."
"I think there's a difference between the threat of being caught and actually wanting someone to watch. Like, Hunter and I made out in the car until a cop caught us once, which was pretty damn embarrassing. And that wasn't even sex," Sebastian laughed. He'd liked it up till then, but after that it seemed like a bad idea. And yet, they'd still done it a few more times. They'd just been more careful about where. "But you're right. Might also depend who's watching. I dunno anymore. Depends on the guy, too." Dating the sheriff's son had definitely made him more weary of doing anything that might get them in trouble. Now that didn't matter anymore. "Dying would be bad," he snickered, looking down the stairs. "Okay, we can do this. Just hold on to me and hold on to the rail." And if they fell down, they'd either hold the other up or fall down together.
