Sebastian and Logan
"Yeah, you could always say no," Logan agreed with a smirk. He straightened from the counter to take another drink. He figured with how little there was to do in Point Pleasant for kids their age, Logan had to imagine the rich kids all hung out together pretty often. He had never paid much attention to who was dating who in the social hierarchy at school, so Logan gave very little thought to the possibility that Sebastian and Jules had dated. "It's a nice house," he answered, moving out of the way as a tiny brunette and her friend squeezed by to grab one of the other bottles from the counter. "I can't remember ever bein' here before. You wanna show me around?" He could care less about the house, but he was curious as to whether or not Sebastian would agree or get nervous and run away.
Sebastian looked back at Logan for a beat more as he considered it, well aware that he wasn’t really interested in a tour of the house. Butterflies kicked up in his stomach at the possibility, nerves both positive and negative, and before he could over-think it too much, he poured himself that shot of whiskey and came around the counter beside Logan. “Sure,” he smiled, then nodded towards the back kitchen exit. “You been upstairs yet?” There would be less people up there, only those that were looking to get away from the bulk of the party. Sebastian knew a few of the rooms would be locked, like Jules’s parents room, but there was still plenty left to explore and any number of dark corners they could duck into if they wanted some privacy. Sebastian’s cock stirred at the prospect and he wondered to himself what the hell he was doing before squashing down that voice. It would only ruin his fun and he deserved it after the week he’d had.
Logan turned his body towards Sebastian when he approached, his gaze glancing briefly at the exit before his lips twitched. "Nah, haven't been upstairs yet. Didn't want to get lost, you know? I think this kitchen is bigger than my mom's entire house." That was a bit of an exaggeration, but not by much. He gestured to the exit with the hand still holding his drink. "Lead the way." If Sebastian knew this place well enough he would probably know what rooms to stay out of and which ones were... well, good to go. As long as they weren't occupied by someone else, of course. He sort of wished he could catch Jasper on the way upstairs just so his friend would know what was up, but Jasper was probably off with Jules somewhere, or maybe in a room of their own. "So you and Jules close?" Logan asked, sipping from his cup as he followed. Small talk was not usually his thing but he was always willing to indulge if it led to fun.
Sebastian didn’t know what to say about the size of the kitchen, since he was pretty sure Logan’s comment could apply to his own house as well. There were definite benefits to his parents being well off, but he tried his best not to let it go to his head. It was their money, not his, after all. He led the way through the kitchen, then turned into a little hallway that led to the back staircase. As soon as they left the kitchen, the volume of the party died down and he was able to answer Logan without yelling back at him. “I’d like to say so, yeah,” he said with a little smile. “We’ve known each other a long time, we have a lot in common. We’re actually closer now than when we were together.” Probably because he’d stopped lying to her. Funny how that improved trust between two people. “Do you know her? Or are you just crashing her party?” he asked with a grin that implied the later was a totally acceptable answer.
