Sebastian and Logan
“The whole bottle?” Sebastian asked with a short laugh. He recognized Logan the way he recognized all the kids he went to school with, but all he really had was a name and a reputation. He wasn’t sure if he was joking or not, but imagined that Logan would be passed out under the kitchen table if he finished the bottle himself. Sebastian dropped the wet paper towel in the trash, then leaned against the counter, assessing Logan with a little smile before he spoke. “Can I have some of the whiskey, pretty please?” Sure, he could just grab a bottle of something else, but he wasn’t going to back down over something so simple. It wasn’t like it damaged his pride to act nicely.
"Hell yeah the whole bottle." Not really. Logan knew if he drank that much whiskey he'd probably die of alcohol poisoning or some shit like that, but that wasn't the point. "But since you're being so polite about it..." Rather than hand the bottle over, Logan held it out to pour into Sebastian's cup himself. Honestly, he couldn't remember if he had ever uttered a word to the guy in all the years they had gone to school together, especially as Sebastian had been a year beneath him and they hadn't had any classes together... that Logan could remember. "Your cheeks are kinda pink already so I'm gonna be a responsible adult and not give you too much," Logan said with a grin. "If you pass out later I can't have that on my conscience, you know?"
As pale as he naturally was, it was easy for Sebastian’s cheeks to turn pink, and pointing it out only made it worse. Yes, he’d had a lot to drink, but he wasn’t falling down drunk. At least not yet. And even if he was, he wasn’t sure why Logan would care. “A responsible adult?” he asked, raising a brow to go with his smirk. “I’m not sure those are welcome here.” So long as he didn’t give himself alcohol poisoning, he could handle the hangover. And it wasn’t like he was planning on driving. Besides, weren’t they all underage, including Logan? “So, are you gonna police me all night to keep that off your conscience? ‘Cause that’s kinda a tall order. And takes some serious commitment.” He didn’t explicitly say it, but he was pretty sure Logan wasn’t up for that kind of a challenge.
Nobody was going to label Logan an adult, even though he was eighteen and legally one. They wouldn't label him responsible either, but that didn't bother him. He liked doing whatever he wanted and as long as he wasn't hurting anyone else, what did it matter to anyone? He set the bottle of whiskey back down and folded his arms on top of the island counter, leaning in a bit toward Sebastian in a teasing manner, his eyes full of mischief. "I don't police anyone, and I'm pretty shit at committing to just about anything. The only reason I'd think about following you around all night for would be to pinpoint the perfect time to take advantage of you." Logan knew that probably made him sound like a dick, but he didn't much care. And from what he remembered from Jasper, McCarthy was dating the sheriff's son, so he saw nothing wrong with some harmless flirting. Maybe he just wanted to see those pink cheeks turn red.
Logan got his wish as Sebastian stared back at him, too caught off guard to do more than laugh and blush. It probably should have sounded creepy, but he’d had such limited experience with guys flirting with him that it was flattering, even if he didn’t really believe it. “Now you’re just fuckin’ with me,” he smiled, grabbing a can of coke to add to the whiskey in his cup. Even if Logan didn’t mean it, it was fun to fantasize about in the moment and Sebastian leaned against the other side of the counter as he grinned back at Logan. “You wouldn’t need to ‘take advantage’ of me anyways. Just don’t deny me another drink.” Not that he needed one if he was going to be making admissions like that, but it felt kind of good to pretend someone was interested. Logan might not be what Sebastian considered ‘boyfriend material’, at least not what he knew of him, but damn was he pretty.
