Re: Phee/Greg/Sebastian/Hunter
They might have been together for a while now—over a month!— but Sebastian knew their relationship was relatively new. That didn’t stop him from loving Hunter though, and tonight it was written all over him, in the way he held him, gazed into his eyes, and kissed him at the admission. Normally he would have shied away from such a confession, not wanting to hear how people thought it was too soon for words like that, but tonight he just didn’t care. Hunter was right— they were young and in love and he was probably high on the moment more than anything else. “I fully endorse that suggestion,” he snickered, pulling himself away from Hunter long enough to respond. He’d never really gotten how couples could be so wrapped up in each other until now. Now it all made sense.
In Love. It was a really strong choice of words and Hunter hadn't said it quite flippantly enough for it to just be a saying, not the way he looked at Sebastian right after in a way that reminded Greg of a wedding ceremony. What the actual fuck. "You guys are so obnoxious," he said but there was affection there too and he leaned in to kiss Phee's cheek. "You want some more punch or something? Water?" He should probably get water for all of them, just to be safe.
Hunter ignored him in favor of kissing Sebastian again. He didn't need anything but Sebastian right now, smiling a little into the kiss as he hugged him close. Greg's words didn't even phase him. Teenagers in love got to be obnoxious in public all the time, it was their turn now.
If she wasn’t feeling so loving and in tune with the universe, Phee probably would’ve been gagging. She knew somewhere in her head that her brother and Hunter were moving too fast, emotionally speaking, and it would probably come back to bite them in the ass. But knowing things was stupid. She felt super happy for them, and like she understood now, down to her bones, what falling in love was like, because she was doing it. She just couldn’t say so. Not yet. Boys were skittish about Feelings -- straight boys were, anyway -- and she couldn’t scare him off yet. “I’ll come with you,” she volunteered. “I want more punch. And ... yeah.” She rolled her eyes toward the newly outed couple and grinned a bit. She and Greg could give him a moment or two.
Sebastian knew that Greg was probably right, but he felt like he had a right to be obnoxious right now. He’d been hiding his relationship with Hunter for far too long and it felt like he was finally on the road to setting things right. No more lying. No more hiding. Hunter deserved all the kisses in the world. “We’ll see you in a bit,” he muttered, breaking away long enough to speak up, but never really taking his eyes off Hunter. He really intended to be social, but it was hard to focus on anything else with his boyfriend in his arms.
