They were right in front of Phee’s house, but she didn’t think anybody would be peeking through the windows, so she didn’t really worry about it. “Yes please,” she murmured, grinning like an idiot and enjoying the way he rubbed her hand. Parents or no parents, she adored riding in with Greg in the mornings, and she would love it even more as the temperature dropped. It was like arriving to her castle in a horse-drawn carriage or something. That was how it felt sometimes anyway. Still smiling a bit, since she couldn’t seem to stop completely whenever Greg was around, Phee leaned in to kiss him. “Sweet dreams, Greg,” she murmured.
"Only if you're in'em," Greg replied smoothly and felt pretty proud of himself for it. He wasn't always a smooth talker, his tongue was way better at other things, but sometimes he felt like he said shit just right and it made him happy. He kissed her again and grinned at her as he pulled away. Aurie started whining at his feet and he rolled his eyes as he bent down to pick him up. "Guess it's carrying time," he sighed as he tucked the small dog under his arm. "I'll see you tomorrow, Phee. Sweet dreams to you too."
