Who: Sabrina and Jackson When: Friday, Sept 8th, early evening Where: The football stadium, then the woods Rating: Low/Medium, maybe language and talk about "The Blackwater Butcher". Status: Closed, ongoing
It was Friday night and a large portion of the student body, not to mention the townspeople, were turning up for some Friday night football. It was one of the rare occasions that Jackson and his twin had agreed to share the car, though they'd gone their seperate ways as soon as they'd arrived. Jax walked over near the ticket booth, but waited to buy his ticket. He wasn't really interested in the game at all, but was supposed to be meeting Sabrina there.
"You have to tell me everything you know", Jackson had huffed emphatically into the phone earlier. The news had started to spread in school today, both teachers and peers making mention of it. The Blackwater Butcher had returned to town. Jackson's family had only just moved to Point Pleasant in the beginning of the summer, so he knew he was far less familiar with the story than practically everybody else. He'd heard some about it because he had family living in town, and his grandparents would talk to his parents about it, and he would hear little bits about it here and there. He'd Googled it too, of course, but he was sure there was more to know, some insider information that locals would have. Jax was interested, no, fascinated, and needed to know more. A killer loose in town? While most people seemed uncomfortable, or anxious, or even angry about the news, Jackson simply had to know more, like he'd just seen the trailer for a badass-looking slasher flick and couldn't wait to go see it in Imax and 3D. They'd agreed to meet up at the stadium, so Jax found a section of chain link fence to lean back against and people watch while he looked out for Sabrina.
