She was aware of the car in the way she was aware of the rest of her surroundings, though she'd discounted it as nothing more than traffic. Even when it slowed in front of the theater, she thought perhaps he was simply checking out the titles of the movies visible - though that shouldn't have taken more than a couple of seconds.
However, when he asked her if she needed a ride, she reasoned she'd bee the thing to catch his attention.
Being asked if she needed help was nothing new - and honestly, it was preferable to the ones who judged her by her appearance, as easy prey - but she really didn't need help. Or a ride; where would she even go?
"No," she said. "Thank you though," she called out to him, shifting a little to face him. She presumed he'd venture off after that, but maybe he was the nosy sort. Either way, she'd roll with however it went. Answer questions if he was the asking sort. Maybe find out a few more things about the town from him if he was the chatting sort.
