Re: [Sebastian and Phee]
As night fell, Sebastian pulled on his costume, glad he’d made the decision to go with the leather pants instead of the breeches. It might not be as authentic, but it was definitely hotter. He debated stealing Ophelia’s eyeliner, but then decided that was probably too over the top for his closeted self, then continued to fuss with his hair and his shirt right up until his sister knocked on the door. “Ready?” He asked as he opened it, smiling at the sight of her. He couldn’t remember the last time he’d seen her so dressed up. She was practically glowing. “You look gorgeous.”
If she wasn’t glowing before, the compliment really got her going, and Ophelia beamed at him. “You think?” she asked, glancing down at herself and spreading her skirt a little. It was probably stupid and stereotypical, but Bash’s approval felt like it meant even more now that she knew he was gay. She felt gorgeous, which was weird for her, but she definitely liked it. Phee knew she shouldn’t be, but she couldn’t help but wonder what Greg would think of it. If anything at all. Probably nothing. But maybe someone else would? She’d definitely not roamed around in public in something like this, and it was nerve wracking but exciting at the same time. Hands on her hips, Phee looked her brother over with an approving nod. “You look great too,” she told him, then grinned. “Hunter’s gonna love it.”
“That’s the point,” Sebastian grinned, bouncing a little on his toes. “He was with me when I got it, but I’ve made some changes he hasn’t seen.” Just because Hunter knew about the leather pants didn’t mean he’d seen them and Sebastian was looking forward to his reaction. Looking at her makeup, Sebastian took a breath and found himself pushing forward, deciding if there was ever a time he could get away with it, it was tonight. “Can you do my eyes?” He asked, sure he was red by the time he got the question out. “Just eyeliner. Nothing crazy. And maybe after we leave so I don’t have to worry about mom and dad?” There was a chance they’d walk out the door without issue, but if they got stopped he didn’t want to answer questions about why he was wearing makeup.
Elated that he’d asked for her help with anything at all, Ophelia grinned. “Of course! And yeah okay, on the way over, I guess.” It wouldn’t come out as well doing it standing on the sidewalk under a streetlight as it would have in the bathroom, but Ophelia would make do. Some dark eyeliner would be a perfect finishing touch -- it pretty much looked universally hot on everyone. A bit of smudged mess would suit the pirate vibe anyway. She kind of doubted their parents would care if they spotted it, but who even knew for sure. Phee cocked an eyebrow at her brother. “You ready, then?” She never thought she would be eager to go to Victoria Chapman’s house. Would wonders never cease.
