Who: Sera and Dominick When: Tuesday night Where: the D'Onofrio home Warnings: probably nothing too crazy Status: Closed; ongoing
It was always a good night for Sera when Dominick came for dinner. The vast majority of the time, it was a drop in visit that resulted in Sera's mom insisting Dominick stay if it was anywhere close to dinnertime. Maybe she missed having a guy at the table besides her dad, now that Caius didn't live there. Hard to say, but Sera loved it, because Dominick held an attraction that her brother did not: he was hot.
(Okay, technically she supposed that Caius was too, but ew. No way was she thinking of her brother like that. Nope.)
The second Sera had arrived home from school and seen Dom's car outside, she'd hustled off to her room to make sure she looked her best. That involved changing out of what she'd worn to cheerleading practice, freshening up, brushing out her hair and touching up her makeup. Her dinner attire was a moderately short skirt and a top that showed a bit of cleavage but not enough that her dad would insist she go change... because that would be fucking humiliating, and she knew he wouldn't hesitate to say it in front of Dom. She could always tug the top down when her dad went about his business after the meal.
Miriam D'Onofrio was an amazing cook, and tonight was no exception. She fed them all well, and after Sera helped to clear the table as she usually did, she ducked into the nearby half-bath to check that she didn't have anything in her teeth and then went in search of Dom, knowing that he was most likely in the formal living room looking at the wall full of art that changed seasonally. The lighting was low and there were even candles lit. Perfect!
Sure enough, there was Dom, and Sera approached quietly to see which painting he was regarding.
