She'd actually been reassuring Reggie that Jade wasn't a cannibal, though she supposed the statement could've looked directed to either. Seeing them all at the fence, Belle ambled over, dangling her head over the fence as well as she attempted to investigate the boy's pockets.
Jaime made the 'tsst' noise that people sometimes used to deter cats, and while Belle at least lifted her head, she continued to lightly flap her lips. Well, that was Jaime's own fault, really; she'd known better and taught the mare bad habits anyway. Reggie at least was a little better behaved and didn't try to shove his nose in people's pockets.
"Sorry. Her mom taught her bad manners," Jaime said with a wry little grin.
Reggie, finished with his inspection and reasoning that the newcomer wasn't a threat, drew his head back over the fence and ambled off. Belle lingered a moment or so longer before following the gelding to finish exploring their new home.
"You know anyone who rides?" She asked curiously. "Or ... people looking to learn?" Because she could manage the two of them for the short term, sure, but once she started making friends and hanging out places not here ... it might not be so easy to keep them both exercised.
