Re: Jules & Sebastian
Jules squinted her eyes open, trying to replay the last few seconds of conversation in her head. Had she said she blacked out? No...but she supposed what she'd said could have been construed that way. She had already asked Sera not to tell anyone, because she didn't want a whole bunch of stupid head exams or whatever. Concussions were pretty cut and dry. "I just hit my head really hard," she explained, closing her eyes again. "I think it knocked me out for a second or two, but like, nothing major. "But yeah, for real, Greg is definitely a giant teddy bear. He wouldn't be my first choice either though, but we don't have to tell him that, right? I think he'd just be happy to be helpful, even if it's being your pillow."
“Kay,” Sebastian said, chewing on his lip for a minute, but then deciding not to worry. The paramedic had checked her out and someone at the hospital would as well, so everything was probably fine. “I think he’d be weirded out if he was my first choice,” he smiled. “He smells like Greg. And… He’s Greg. But yeah, he’d love to help. That’s just who he is.” And Sebastian loved him for it. He really was like a brother to him, often times closer than his own family. “We need to find him a girl. There’s got to be someone better for him to cuddle with than me.”
"Greg smells good sometimes," Jules protested, a hint of amusement in her voice. If she didn't have a raging headache, she probably would have perked up at the idea of hooking Greg up with someone. But the throbbing dulled her enthusiasm. "But yeah, he should have someone. Anyone but Heather," she murmured. "Though, don't tell her I said that. I don't want her pissy with me." Greg seemed like the type who could hook up with just about any girl he wanted, if he wanted to. She also had no idea if he even wanted a girlfriend. Boys were just as confusing as girls could be sometimes. "We'll find him someone awesome, though. When we have the brain power to do it."
“Anyone but Heather,” Sebastian agreed. Yes, Heather was into Greg, but he wasn’t into her and he really needed not to fall back into that. He needed someone he was excited about. Like Sebastian was about Hunter. Though Sebastian doubted Greg would ever blush like he did. With a little sigh, he nodded, watching as the coaches, police, and paramedics tried to organize the chaos around them. “Yeah, definitely not tonight. Maybe after we’ve had a little sleep.” Even then, Sebastian didn’t know if Greg was looking to meet someone. He just wanted to see his friend happy like he was.
Jules hummed her agreement, thinking it was probably very possible for her to fall asleep on Sebastian's shoulder. It was late and she was tired and sore and she really just wanted to text Jasper. "Wake me up if I doze off," Jules told him, tugging his coat more tightly around her. She wished she had changed out of her cheer uniform and into her yoga pants. But her bag was still on the bus. Annoying.
If he hadn’t already napped on Greg, Sebastian would have been right there with her. Instead he was able to watch and wait, sure that they’d get instructions eventually. “Okay,” he told her, giving her arm a little rub, happy to let her sleep. It was turning into a long night for all of them and she might as well rest while she had the chance.
