Connolly stood there awkwardly, her cold blue eyes looking him over. She was always the quick one to judge and probably even more harshly than ever before. She lifted her hand slowly. "And you're Grady." In a quick step, she shut the door behind him and locked it. "Glad you found yourself here safely."
Things seemed tame in Shadows but if Connolly knew anything, she knew Shadows was anything but tame.
It was then she asked herself why he was even there in the first place. Confusion settled upon her small face before shaking her head. "Sorry, I sometimes think a little too much and it shows on my face."
He was there to drink. They were to drink and discuss the possibility of him and his friend leaving. "I guess we should just get right to it right? I warn you, I don't mess around when it comes to drinking. No alcohol goes to waste in this apartment." With a nod, she beckoned him to follow her to the kitchen. "So I really hope you don't plan on dragging yourself back to the Waverly." She smiled some while pouring a shot of whiskey each to start.
