Shaking his head, Kilian looked beyond Silas, a bit blurry eyed and decided, "I'm not going to quit. I've been there for a little over a year now. I think he's the type who, once he figures out he's been rejected, will just shut up about it and pretend it never happened. Awkward for him, not for me. That's what I think."
