Jud Hyeon glanced at the clock as he sighed. It was already close to 6 o'clock and this jewelry maker still wasn't here. He knew that some humans today were late, but he figured that one wouldn't be since it involved business. He huffed as a small meow changed his attention, his eyes looking at Onyx as he thought about how the cat had come to grow on him. He petted the cat as a small hint of smile came to his lips. "You are probably hungry huh?" His question was answered with a meow, which caused him to get stop petting Onyx. He pulled out the bowl and small container of food that he kept at the store behind the counter before pouring some food into the bowl and giving it to Onyx. The hint of smile was gone from his lips as he glanced at the clock again. A huff came from him as he croseed his arms over his chest.

Though Akihito dearly loved the twins he worked nights for, he didn't quite trust either of them to drive so when he went to his business meeting, he drove with Imogene in the passenger seat. She had hemmed and hawed about the whole thing at first but once he buckled himself in and she had done the same, she had quieted. It had been a bit of a scuffle to get the woman to come with him, her mood not the best when he went to see her, but after a few minuets of fighting with her and begging, she had agreed rather suddenly. She had even gotten the other twin to help load the trunk with samples. He hadn't been sure what to bring so he brought a little of everything but most of it had crystals in it. After everything, he looked at the clock on the dash and sighed a little. He had started off with this hours early but Gin had forced him to dress and had even done his hair. This was a business meeting and not a fancy dress up time but there was no getting around the twins.

Mood: Pride to sadness | |
Imogene, to put it simply, was quite proud of herself and as they drove, she sat in her seat smug as all hell. She had pulled all the stops to make their Aki ready for this business thingy he had AND make him look cute at the same time. Her sister had even done his makeup! She had been pissed at first when he had asked for one of them to come with him but she understood the little thing better than most. He was shy and didn't want to be alone. She knew that emotion better than anyone out there. It was her source of guilt whenever she looked at her sister and saw sadness. The mere thought of her sister was enough to switch her mood and she rolled her head back and looked out the window, a sigh on her dark red lips. "There, the shop." She said after awhile, breaking her silence in the dark car, her dual colored eyes picking the shop out easily from the dim outside.

He was trying, and failing, to not look at the clock by seting up things for the next sale. He had figured that he should have a sale for black friday if he decided to be open. Though his brother was telling him to close so they can have proper family Thanksgiving. Jud Hyeon pinched the bridge of his nose as he thought back on the phone call he had with his brother about the holiday. He was still surprised that his brother was wanting to cook a meal considering that all they really needed that night was a drink. He pushed the thoughts about the holiday out of his mind as he glanced at the clock. "Where is this jeweler at anyway?" He huffed as his eyes turned to the door. He knew that the only one that could hear him was the cat since the store was empty, but that didn't stop him from talking aloud to himself.

Right as Gin pointed out the store, AKi saw it for himself and he liked the look of it, even through the front window. Pulling off the street and into the parking for the place, he eyed Gin in the seat next to him, wondering who the woman was going to react to what was going to happen tonight. He loved the pair dearly, almost as much as his own twin, but the younger one wasn't very predictable. He wasn't ever able to guess what she was thinking and though he had thought maybe it wouldn't be the best idea to have her hear, he couldn't image doing this alone. Right now, she was his only real friend. Well, her and her sister. Getting out of the car, he clicked the trunk open only to find the other pulling stuff out of it already.

Mood: Sadness to excitement
Clicking from sadness to excitement in the moment it took her to get out of the car, she practically raced her way to the trunk where all the specially packed bags were. Aki didn't seem to know she was a vampire and she kept it that way - him not knowing. She kept her movements on this side of human when around him, no matter what mood she was in. Leaving the smaller man only the smaller bags, she headed for the door first, opening it for him and holding it so that he could get through without dropping anything. "We have come." She said as soon as Akihito was in, her eyes locking on the man behind the counter.

One of his eyebrows raised as he heard some one speak, he wasn't expecting there to be two people walking in. He hoped that one or both was the jeweler he had spoken to since he didn't want there to be customers in the store when it was time to conduct business. And with that thought he remembered that he was suppose to seem welcoming and not like his normal self. His normal fake smile came to his lips as he spoke the simple greeting. "Welcome to The Black Cauldron." A small meow could be heard after his welcome, which he thought was odd that now the cat was gretting people. He glanced at Onyx before looking the two over, he noticed the bags that they were carrying and figured that they were the jeweler he had spoken with. "Are you by chance the jewelers of Akihito's Crystal Shop?"
Nakashima, Akihito | |
Aki thanked Gin for holding the door open for him and taking the larger bags. He didn't question why she grabbed the heavier bags but just chalked it up to her being bigger than him. He certainly didn't want to fall over in front of a stranger... not like he hadn't done that already this week. At the thought of a stranger, he looked up to the voice that was speaking to them and he could feel his face heat up instantly. He just hoped whatever Gin's sister put on his face hid the fact he was blushing like mad. "I um... I..." He couldn't seem to get anything out and glanced at Gin for help.

Mood: Excitement to giddy
Gin giggled, her excitement bouncing towards giddiness. It was probably better for her to go up rather than down on the emotional scale here. Better for Akihito's deal, anyway. People seemed fascinated by her, not that she really noticed it most of the time, but she was actually worried on putting a bad front for her friend. "Grunt work I'm doing." She said in an actually sweet voice, her head tipping to the side a little. She set the bags on the counter in front of the stranger who seemed to be the owner of the place and introduced herself. "My name is like an alcohol." Motioning to Aki, still frozen halfway to the counter, she nodded. "Aki is there." She wasn't going to give away the ruse that the little blond wasn't actually a woman but the way he was acting, it wouldn't be hard for the taller man to believe it.
Son Jud Hyeon | |
Jud had raised an eyebrow again as he listened to the taller woman speak, part of him was interested as to why she was speaking that way. Which made his learning focus start to peek, but he pushed it down with the thought of business first. "Aki? Does that mean you are the one that is the jeweler?" He looked at the blonde with the normal fake smile on his lips, his eyebrows were no longer raised. "I'm the owner Son Jud Hyeon." A meow came from the cat that had now climbed up onto the counter. He glanced at it before a small sigh came from him as one of his hands moved to pet the cat.

He blinked at the man's name and his questions and for a second, he couldn't say a thing but Gin was looking at him in a way that he could only guess at. He took a few more steps forward before he nodded, his voice coming a bit softer than normal. "Yes, I'm the jeweler." He said, giving the other man a smile, as best as he could. He needed to stop being so weird! No one was going to do business with him if he was going to just be a gawky blusher. Swallowing hard, he made it to the counter, dark eyes looking at the cat before putting the small bags on the counter. He focused on opening the bags and unpacking the examples he brought, hoping he hadn't blown the deal already.

Mood: Giddy to slight anger to petulant
She sighed loudly at Aki's odd behavior and for a second, she felt a spike of anger. She was TRYING to help the boy but he was acting like a little kid! Turning away from the blond, she followed his example and started setting things out on the counter and moving the bags to the floor when Aki finished with them. She couldn't help but roll her eyes at the whole thing, her mood turning her petulant now. She wanted to just poke Aki until he started to act normal but somehow knew it wouldn't help. "Jewels aplenty." She said, almost sounding completely normal, dark lips folding up into a wide smile. "Pretty pretties, Aki brought." She tilted her head again as she watched the crystals glint in the light from the ceiling lamps.
Son Jud Hyeon | |
Jud Hyeon nodded after he had finally heard the blonde speak. A small hint of a smirk came to his fake smile as he took note of the blush on Akihito's face. His eyes shifted to the woman that said her name was alcohol before looking at the jewelry that the two were setting out. His hands moved into a postion that suggested he was thinking, which he was. He had to admit that the young lady had brought some pretties and some fit perfect with his shop and the customers he could sell them too. Even his international clientle would like it. "Yes pretties indeed." He looked at Akihito long enough for either one to notice when he had spoke before his eyes went back to examining the jewelry. He looked at a few peices closer, his face had no emotion on it as he did this. His mind was racing though with thoughts of who he could share certain ones with, that was if he could get Akihito to agree to the terms he had figured out earlier. He set the peice he was looking at down and turned around to grab the paper from the back counter. His eyes looked over the details before he turned back around and smiled at the two.
Nakashima, Akihito | |
Akihito watched the other man's face closely as he looked at each piece but he couldn't tell if his work was being enjoyed or not. It drove him crazy and his nervousness wrenched up another degree, the red head next to him not helping any whatsoever as she bounced through emotions as quickly as she usually did. It was a lot to go through but he was glad that she was here. He might not have made it if it wasn't for Imogene and her sister. He was relieved, however, when the other man across from him agreed with what Gin said about his work. He enjoyed making every single piece he did and to see them go to a nice home made his heart soar. This was the first time he had even considered partnering with a solid store that wasn't his own and he hoped it went well. He didn't even know what kind of split they would make. Being his first time, he didn't even know what was fair. Fifty fifty? He hoped Imogene had an idea.

Mood: Petulant to anger
Imogene was still stewing further down the counter but now, instead of paying attention to the pair, she was staring at her hands with a weird look on her face. She was wondering why she had come over here in the first place. The guy seemed like a complete dick and that pissed her off. They were starting to wait on him hand and foot or whatever the phrase was and with the look on Aki's face, he was freaking out harder than usual. She knew this was his baby and all but come on. If it was her, she would have just thrown the jewelry in his face and told him it was too good NOT to put it in his store. HE wasn't even showing emotion! Those double eyes looked over and caught the look on Aki's face as he looked over at her but that didn't help her emotion as it started to dip even hotter. If he didn't start being nice to her little blond, this vampire was going to flip tits.
Son Jud Hyeon | |
He held the paper in his hands as he looked between the two before he closed his eyes briefly. He knew that not all jewelry makers were the same and some didn't like his terms, but he hoped that since this one was local then they'd agree more so to his terms. His eyes focused on Akihito as his lips parted. "You make lovely thing Akihito and there is quite a few of my clientele that I know would love some of these you have broguht with you. Now I understand not all the terms I have figured out may work for you, but I'm hoping that we can come to some agreement before your pieces are displayed in my store." He glanced at what he was now considering Akihito's bodyguard before focusing back on the blonde. He handed the paper to Akihito which should that is was a starting point for a contact between the two. "This contact here is just a starting point so don't think that things on here are final." He half smiled before continuing. "You will see as you read that the split will be seventy-five twenty-five. You getting seventy-five and me getting twenty-five. It also states that one day each week you will come into the store to debut new pieces to sell. I have a feeling that each piece you bring will either be sold to someone here in Shadow Falls or to one of my international clientle." He stopped speaking and waited for either one of the females to speak. He figured that if neither one sasid anything for a while than he would continue speaking, but for now he decided to stand there and wait.

When the man across from him closed his eyes, Aki feared the worst and he could tell, without even looking at her, that Imogene was pissed. For once, he could agree with her emotional jumps. If the other man rejected him, it would break his heart and probably end his wishes to sell in a brick-and-mortar store that he didn't personally pay for. When he set a piece of paper in front of him, however, he felt his eyes get a little wide as he looked at it. The terms seemed fair and just to be sure, he looked over at the woman that had come with him, tilting his head a little.

Mood: Anger to slightly violent
Gin was silent as she watched this Jud guy set the paper down in front of her blond, wondering what the hell this was all building to. WHen it sounded like the other vampire, yes she knew, was accepting selling Aki's work in his store, she sighed. "Better." Was all she murmered, only letting the other man hear her, not her short adorableness. To the human, she nodded. "Fair, I think." She tiled her head a little bit, coming over to look at the paper herself though she didn't quite understand the wordering of it. From what the man on the other side of the counter said, it sounded good to her. From what Aki read from the paper, it seemed like he was excited, an emotion she didn't feel. Even with all this happiness, she was stuck on anger. "Right, you'll treat Aki or else." THe other vampire may be older but with Gin and her sister, they could probably take him down and make him pay for hurting the little one's feelings.
Son Jud Hyeon | |
Jud Hyeon's eyes were on Akihtio, even though he heard the female's whisper, he acted like he didn't hear it. He knew that if he let any of his vampire part of him come out, then it would be harder for him to be nice. Though some may not see how he was acting as him being nice. He nodded to her about treating the small one right, it was like he was starting to understand her speaking the more she spoke. He thought of it like its own language which he knew his brother would love. "I will treat him right and possibly even better than some of the other people I deal with." He smiled at her before looking at Akihito. "Well Akihito, do you have any questions or changes that you would like made to the contact?" He tilted his head slightly as his mind thought about hearing the smaller female's voice again. He knew that it was odd for him to in a way want to hear Akihito's voice, but she had just been so damn quiet that it was hard for him to fully getting any kind of read as to what kind of a girl she was. Though that also made her more interesting. Jud Hyeon did mind having some mystery that was related to his own family in his life and if the deal was good then his learning side would be able to learn about one more person in this town. |
