Aras put a hand up in front of him, trying in his defense. Unsure where Kalli thought that the blonde male acted as he knew her was beyond him, but apparently he had just crossed another line. "I know I don't," he said honestly, looking directly upon her. "I didn't mean anything by that, just merely saying." His words were simple, yet truthfull. If she believed him that would be good, but with Kalli, Aras could never be so sure.
"Yes, I have a job to get back to. I'm an Auror, so I just have paper work to get back to," he replied, not to anxious to get back to the boring part of his occupation. Aras rather be out on assignment or something of the sort, then be around the office for too long. Maybe he had something to look forward to being in the Ministry, other then talking to Selene everyday. Not that he didn't enjoy talking to his best friend, but he did want to see if Kalli would talk to him more after he left her area. "I'm still not leaving until you say that you'll have break with me."
The blonde male could sense that she was confused on the reason why he had stuck around for so long, expecially since Kalli was used to people just leaving her alone. He was guessing that though, but knew that he couldn't tell her the true reason. What guy in their right mind would actually enjoy being talked to in such a way? Aras couldn't help but like it. "Because I can take it. I don't mind," he stated simply.
