"It wasn't intended," he replied, keeping his eyes on her. "Believe me." Aras was never really the type that snapped at someone, or do anything remotely negative, unless his job called for it. The blonde male's job was important to him. Ever since he was at Hogwarts, Aras dreamed of being a respected Auror and that was what he had become. It didn't matter that some people didn't care. He became what he wanted to be. That was what he hoped for his younger brother, Ayden.
It was obvious that years hadn't changed Kalli one bit, but it was something that Aras would probably never know why. She barely opened up to anyone and it didn't help that the male stood idly by as Selene and Harmony bashed the Slytherin female during Hogwarts. Not that she didn't do the same in return. It just wasn't the way he worked or was as a person. "I would say that I can tell, but I think you have changed a bit. Maybe it's not noticeable yet," he said, looking optomistic with a small smile upon his face.
He nodded his head at first, once she had accepted his compliemnt. The tone of voice that Kalli had sounded confused, which wasn't a plan of Aras, but it did show a different side of her. Just slightly. He didn't mean to make her feel such a thing, but he honesetly wanted to say that she looked good. It wasn't a crime. Even after all the years they had all been to each other at school, it didn't stop the blonde male from telling her so. "You're welcome. See a change. You wouldn't have told me in that at school," he said with a smile.
