Listening to the female's words, Aras wasn't realizing that he was giving off that sort of expression. He has always presented himself in a reserved, kind manner. If he was showing off something else, then he wanted to apologize. Ever since he was younger, Aras had been that way. He was kind, but didn't let people walk all over him. What he learned throught that helped him become the Auror he was today, gratefully.
"Well, I wasn't aware that I had given you such an impression," he stated at first, picking up the statue off of the dark-haired female's desk. If she wasn't willing to help him with the statue, figure out exactly where the ugly thing thad to go, then Aras would go to her supervisor. Who ever that was, the male was sure that she would be of some assistance. After all, he just wanted to get rid of it, not start an argument with someone.
Aras remembered a few memories of his Hogwarts day with Quidditch. Slytherin verses Gryffindor had been a rivalry for the ages, but the male didn't make it such a big deal like the others. Selene had always made it a big deal. As for him, he just wanted to play Quidditch. Win or lose, he just wanted to have fun. Aras was sure that Kalli would remember that at least. "Maybe," he said at first. "A few years could change someone, even inwardly. You look good though." Throwing in a compliement after Kalli had just snapped at him, showed that he had already brushed what had happened a few moments ago.
