For the last year Danny had been wondering what he would be thinking about when it came time to spend his last hours at the castle. He never thought he'd get choked up and start feeling all sad, and he was right. He left that to Dominique, and after a good hour of putting up with all that, Danny had to get away. Not that he didn't want to make his friend feel better, he just had more important things to take care of the moment. The last week he had talked to James about wanting to pull of a massive prank, or something before he left. And then that snowballed into Eric, Matthew and Orion joining in. Not that he was complaining or anything. The more hands the better, and he had to admit, he was happy to have his youngest brother in on this one. And between the five of them, they had created on beauty of a plan.
So far the boys and himself had turned the second floor corridor into a virtual winter wonderland, complete with ice, snow, and snowballs to aim themselves at students and staff. The third floor they had gotten their hands on some rubber balls and charmed them to bounce all over the hall so that people would have to either duck to avoid them, or figure out a counter-charm to stop them. Then, if that weren't enough, they had somehow managed to convince the suits of armor to spout off random directions to students claiming that certain corridors were shut off so that the students would either be lost, or have to walk through their little jokes.
Danny stood back and admired their work on the second floor as he picked up some snow, formed it into a ball, and promptly threw it at James, hoping to get something started, so it would look like they had just stumbled upon it, rather than created it. "Not bad boys, not bad." he said proudly.
