"And I'd say that the line can get a touch blurry when it's a matter of one's survival -- it is so very easy to see it as work, to become jaded -- I've seen it happen before. I tend to enjoy it at the moment, however, so I suppose that I'm rather lucky in that regard."
"I might turn the mirror back your way," he said, tipping his head to his own costume, "do you cherish this sort of thing? It is marvelous, don't get me wrong, but I do wonder if you'd rather be sitting in your offices with the blessed sounds of industry around you and a pencil in hand." He grinned.
