"The wedding was rather sudden." Maggie agreed at the unspoken criticism of remarrying before her official mourning period was quite over. Honestly though, over a year and a half of mourning was more than sufficient for someone she'd only been married to for a few years. The stuffiness of the British upper classes could be maddening sometimes. "We didn't want to wait once we'd realized our feelings for each other were mutual and I'd already had the large fancy wedding once before." If he wanted to make an issue of it so be it, at this point she really didn't give a damn.
