The strings bowed to a drawn-out close, and Arabella reluctantly let go of Zipporah's hand. "I'll tell you soon," she promised. "I'll write." Suddenly smiling, she added, "You'll have to tell me about the rest of your evening," and the way her mouth stretched for once didn't feel so feigned.
