Delia knew nothing about medicine of any kind, and thus and kind of thing like that would be completely lost on her. She saw lots of people in the course of her hundred plus years on the earth. She'd seen people given into their absolute carnal pleasures. People were often enjoying themselves at the circus. She looked onto such things with longing. If she had any kind of feeling, it was absolutely assuredly envy. Envy of everything. She had it, and she had it bad.
She didn't know if she was a lost cause. She often thought that she hadn't found her purpose in this world, since the one that she was supposed to have when she was first created, hadn't lasted very long. It was true that most people generally only found her interesting and necessary for entertainment. She didn't have a whole lot of stimulation, since most people didn't pay her any mind.
Clearly Delia hadn't been expecting to be pushed up against the wooden post. She had self-preservation. There was a small gasp, and her eyes went slightly wide. Slightly. Another regular person probably would have yelled, or showed much more surprised. But she was surprised. Just enough for it to register.
She should have known that the woman wouldn't bite her. She didn't have blood. But still.
"I was in fear for my life, a bit. It caught me off guard. I suppose it was a slight.. tickle of alarm. Is that enough?" She truly didn't know.
