"It is hard to say. I don't think so. I'm not sure that I would know if I did?" It wasn't as if she had grown up and felt all of these things. The magic that held her together also ran whatever was supposed to be a brain, but it probably didn't function like a normal person. She had been around a long time, and maybe it was possible that she felt things, but she didn't know what they were. And it was funny, because when she laughed, there was no reaction from her. Surely being laughed at would have caused her to feel sadness, or even anger. She didn't like being laughed at, but she didn't know if that was feeling something.
Delia shrugged her shoulders. "I have been here for over a hundred years. I do not know if I will ever experience anything like what humans do.. even former humans." She knew enough about vampires to know that they were once like everyone else. Maybe it was a blessing that she couldn't be overly upset about the fact that she couldn't be overly upset.
She had to think about that for a moment. "I like to read, and I like to play the piano." That was the only thing that she could think of. She also hoarded things like no one's business, but that's because she was fascinated about what it must be like to be human. "I do not have to eat or sleep," she said, as if that answered the question. Just because she didn't have to, did that mean she couldn't? Had she never even tried before? It was hard to tell, by the expression on her face.
