Challenge #1 - The Road Less Traveled [31 Mar 2008|05:52am] For the Grand Opening of sga_prompt, I've randomly picked a book off my shelf and flipped to an equally random page to locate our first challenge! Our challenge is: "The Road Less Traveled" Robert Frost brought this phrase to fame with his poem of the same title. It talks of how a man --it's widely surmised that the 'I' in the poem is Frost himself and not just the ambiguous use 'I', but many readers have enjoyed placing themselves in the role and in turn believe that the poem is that much more personal to them-- stands before a split in the road and, for a time, contemplates them both before taking the path less traveled. The challenge is to interpret The Road Less Traveled how you will and write a fic 500-??? long. Maybe John turned down the offer to go to Atlantis? What if Rodney's personal shield hadn't had enough juice to withstand the energy beast? Who says that the Athosians were a 'peaceful' people? During this challenge it's up to you to decide!
