I have to say you opened my eyes for Severus/Draco loveliness. ;) It has never really been my cup of tea, but after this I find myself intrigued by the very idea of reading more about those two. Insecure post-war Draco and helping, caring Severus goes so well together in this fic. While I usually prefer the scenario that Draco that has switched sides and gets to experience the hatred of his father, Lucius being portrayed as evil and calculative bastard, it was refreshing to read how he had supported the Order with his wife, and more importantly Draco, in the war.
Overall, this fic radiates the sense of calmness that spread through me while reading. There has been a war, but afterwards Draco just shuts himself out of the world to hide in this room to keep everything and everyone out. It's like everything stops. But Draco feels lonely and wishes for company, while Severus desperately seeks for something unknown to him and even peeks under his bead (loved the idea btw), so his magic brings Severus to him and he finally gets to go home. He just needed to be saved, the poor guy. I really loved his lines in the beginning, and how Severus mulls over the puzzles not liking their resemblance to his work as a spy.
