A/N: This is not what Roo asked for, but I am just happy when my muse lets me write anything these days. Anything or anyone you recognize I most likely stole so I can play with them.

Can I Poison It

Harry stepped into the office when the Potions Master bid him enter. But when the older man continued with his paperwork, Harry leaned against the door before slowly sliding down to sit with his arms wrapped around his knees.

The unusual scuffing noise caused Snape to glance at his student. On seeing the apparently exhausted boy on the floor, Severus raised one eyebrow. Surprisingly Harry noted the question in the look and said, "I don’t suppose you have any poison I could put in the fat toad's food."

Snape snorted, "Don’t you think I would have already put her out of our misery if I could do so without implicating myself in a murder?"

Harry huffed, "I don’t want her dead." He suddenly chuckled. "Just… want something to make her wish she was."

Snape's lips twitched. "I'll see what I have after our lesson."
