Well, the sorting may be imbecilic, but the sighers are primarily a writing group. Most discussions and chatter take place on our yahoo group, with the group split into the four houses. Writers and artists earn "points" for their houses through their contributions, with a "House Cup" being awarded to the most active house at the end of our SS year, which resets in October, the anniversary of when the group started.

It is silly and fun and, yes, imbecilic, but it is how our group runs.

Asking which house you sort into was simply a way to determine which house the points will be assigned to. If you wish not to participate, that is entirely your choice. We will not bother you again in that regard.
