A "ukiyo-e" is a Japanese woodblock print.
And Hokusai is the Japanese chappy who did that famous woodblock print of that great wave with Mount Fuji in the background. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hokusai

He does strike as a sushi lover, nad also as the kind of person that would smile at the perfect morsel, be it sushi, Harry, Remus or well, you get the idea :)
